I have enjoyed eating at different Culver"s from time to time. This is what I'd call "high end" burgers and they do a great job. This visit they were busy and they have a complex menu board. I ordered a combo burger and my partner did the same thing. I didn't know I needed to state that I wanted lettuce tomato and onions and my burger arrived at the table naked (meat, cheese and bun). Great location. Clean, fast service. Cheese curd upgrade for the value baskets is worth it! The fries are also really good. Culver's is a small upgrade to typical fast food. After days months and years of broken ice cream machines at McDonald's we have since discovered Culver's and never looked back. The ice cream is high-quality delicious and creamy! Flavors of the day are unique and creative, changes daily! If you're not in the mood for the flavor of the day you can create your own concrete mixer. This wasn't the smoothest visit to Culvers by any means. I stopped in here on the way to a seminar while in the Lakewood Ranch area hoping to get in and out for a quick lunch. I walked into a line that was roughly 12-15 people deep and only two cashiers were taking orders. It took way too long to get through the line and when I went to place my order for one of their $5 value meals my total somehow came out to $7 and change. I told the cashier about the price on the menu and she said that the total was the way it was because I ordered fries and drink. It's a value meal. It is supposed to come with fries and a drink and even says so on the menu. I clearly didn't get through to her and ended up paying more than I should have just so I could get the hell out of there. The food tasted good, but it was chaos just to order it and receive it. It seems that this entire area is brand new so Culvers will do just fine for now, but when other fast food places pop up Culvers needs to speed the process up and actually honor their deals. read more

We love Culver's, but this was terrible. We waited about 40 minutes for our food and when I asked if there was a problem the young man said, "we're just slow tonight". He said he only had 2 people "back there". The food wasn't particularly hot when we got it, but it wasn't bad. It's not a Culver's we will come back to. read more

I ordered a chocolate malt. When I got it, the guy said there were two cups because the first on cracked. Ok no problem. I noticed there wasn't much of a malt taste and as I drank it, I kept getting balls of unmixed malt. At the bottom of the cup there was a hunk of unmixed malt about the size of a quarter. This place has really taken a dive lately regarding quality control. They have always had problems with fulfilling orders correctly, but now the quality has gone down. I just spent over $30.00 on two burger combo meals and some chicken strips, and the way that the burgers arrived reminds me of McDonalds. Burgers were no longer boxed, but were wrapped in paper. No more puffy buns as they were smashed flat. Only a few fries per order. Also, the cokes now come in a plain white styrofoam cups, no more paper cups with Culvers logos. This may be the best run restaurant on the face of the earth? I pulled off I-75 for what I hoped would be taste of old Wisconsin. And I was not disappointed. The double butter burger with cheese was just great. And, OMG, they had fried cheese curds - simply fabulous ! The staff was efficient, friendly, and made me feel welcome and valued. I even met the Owner and his wife actively managing and greeting people - really nice people! You can't do better than this place. read more

I'm always a huge fan of Culver's. But I was especially had a wonderful experience today. In my job I often have to place big orders of food for our staff meetings and things of that nature. I like to try and mix it up so I'm not ordering the same thing for everyone every time, and gave Culver's a try. I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy Steven made the whole experience. Sometimes when you call with big orders like that to fast food places it really throws them for a loop, but the whole process was super easy with the help of Steven who helped me figure out appropriate serving sizes for my group to make sure I had enough food. Timeless classics anytime? Not quite. Sign on the door says that they are open until 11 PM, however, on many occasions they are locked up and closed at 10. If they want to close at 10, then that is certainly their prerogative. Just change the sign to 10. In retail, it's a real good way to lose customers when you do this repeatedly. Other than that annoyance, decent burgers and fries - better than your average fast food. Good atmosphere - nice place, friendly staff. The frozen custard is the real attraction - love it! They just need to get a clue on the close time thing. Tonight, though it is an hour from their posted close time, they're putting chairs up on the tables all around us. Rude! Keep on driving~ with all the great spots to eat in this area, save your time and money. Management is clueless. I waited in line for drive-thru for 15 minutes to place my order, then waited another 5 minutes to get the order and then got the wrong order - then they expected me to give them back the wrong order (I wasn't going to eat it, but what were they going to do with it?) and wouldn't correct the order without collecting the 50 cent upcharge for the onion rings that were misplaced with fries. geez~ I called the manager and he said, "we train our employees to collect the right amount of money". ??? wha??? My husband ordered two sandwiches and a concrete mixer at the drive thru. When they brought out the concrete mixer my husband stated they forgot one of the toppings. The girl took back the concrete mixer and a few moments later brought us back the concrete mixer. She stated she dumped all the toppings on top and did not mix it in due to health code. My husband asked if they could make a new concrete mixer for him and the girl stated she was not able to. After pulling around to the drive-through again we ask for the manager. The manager began to argue with us stating my husband did not ask for those toppings. I offered to show her the The receipt which clearly had all toppings listed. After a few more moments she then made a new concrete mixer. After leaving my husband realized they made the incorrect sandwich. After pulling around to the drive-through a second time we asked to speak to the owner Dori. At this point we asked for a refund and Dori stated she was not able to. I simply stated this was a waste of our time and at this point all of other food was cold. Dori said she could refund one sandwich and make a fresh one for him. I asked for a refund on the entire order since this whole process took over 30 minutes. Dori again stated there was nothing she could do and apologized for the inconvenience. I currently am a manager in a retail environment I would refund the order without hesitation. Not only has this experience lost my husband and I as customers but all of our family and friends as well. All of this could have been avoided for a refund of $16. Ok I have been here several times. Service is friendly and helpful. I am usually not a fan of fast food burgers, but their burgers are soooo tasty. I have been ordering the mushroom swiss burger and it is so juicy and delicious. Kids have gotten their chicken strips which are real chicken and are quite tasty and a generous portion. The ice creams and shakes are always good as well. We have also had the fries and onion rings. All good. We will most definitely be back! read more

One of the best fast food restaurants in town! Glad these have migrated from the Midwest down south. It's high quality fast food. The butter burgers are their signature, and a must-try if you're a real burger fan. They also have cheese curds with Wisconsin cheese! Great with a burger. The also specialize in dessert, serving frozen custards. Love being able to get a flavor and mix it with my own toppings, and the specialty mixers are awesome. Would have given this a 5 star rating except for the rotten banana on the bottom of my banana split. They didn't mention nuts when I ordered it so when it came with them I had to send it back. They gave me a new one without complaint but put the rotten banana in. I didn't want to complain. My husband had a wonderful one with nuts. Wish I could eat nuts. read more

I've loved this place from when I lived in the North. The burgers are always made fresh to order, and juicy. I want to stop by and get a burger every time I drive by, but I don't think my cardiologist recommends a double butter burger daily. We're new to Culver's. Friends from the midwest brought us here, we've been back several times. No kidding, the best value quick service restaurant anywhere. Staff is friendly, helpful and well-trained both inside and drive thru. It took us some time to learn their menu, it looks a little overwhelming at first, but that's because we are new to Culver's. Now that we know the lingo we're all set. Our family tried most of the meals, we have our favorites, but try them for yourselves. There's something for everyone. Very happy customers here. I had a big day today and decided to treat myself to a cheeseburger. I wanted to eat at home, so I decided to go to Culver's. I went through the drive thru and had several questions because I didn't want two patties, but I did want all the veggie accompaniments. The young man, who I later saw on his name tag is Tyler, was very polite, friendly, and helpful to make sure I ordered exactly what I wanted. When I got to the window, Tyler had a smile on his face and continued with his good manners. I drove up to wait for my food (made fresh), and it was also delivered by Tyler who followed through the completion of the transaction with friendliness and manners. Most places are like a factory line, get through and get to the next customer, so I was impressed by being treated like a valuable customer. The food was good and put together well. P.S. My lover and I entered this establishment to purchase milk (gives us gains). The milk was pure white and cold against my lips. The stache it provided me reminded my partner of the beautiful weekend we spent in Tuskany. Truly a weekend we will never forget. Today I decided to stop into Culver's after hearing from a friend that there were gluten free buns available. I walk into the store and I talk to one of the nicest young man at the register explaining that I heard that they served gluten free buns. He told me yes that they did, and then I asked about the gluten free environment. I was nervous that he wasn't going to understand what I was trying to ask but I was completely blown away at his complete and caring response. He let me know that they serve gluten free buns that will be warmed still in the factory wrapper to make sure they stay gluten free, that the kitchen staff washes their hands changes their gloves AND uses separate toppings for the burgers to make sure there was no cross contamination. At this point I felt more than safe eating here and thanked him for explaining it to me. I asked if the fries were gluten free and he explained to me that they were fried in oil with other gluten items, so instead I got a root beer float. He both marked on the register that I had a gluten allergy and verbally explained to the kitchen that I had an allergy and to be extra careful. When I got the burger everything was as he said with the burger toppings arranged in a separate box on this lovely little wrapper that made it super easy to assemble the burger and add the ketchup from separate packets to it. Not only was it an absolute pleasure to be in your restaurant and the whole staff was so cheerful and helpful, the burger and float were absolutely delicious. It is not very often that I am both blown away by a restaurants customer service, but also made to feel completely safe about the meal that I was eating (with NO symptoms from cross contamination after eating the meal), AND the meal is absolutely delicious. read more

Being from the Midwest, we've been to Culver's Rst since the 1990s. Glad to see the chain branch out into Florida. Excellent food and attentive service.
