Let me begin by thanking Jimmy, the owner for his gracious offer for dinner. My son & I stopped in after a long day of work/summer camp to pick up take out. Though Jimmy wasn't at the location, his staff was stellar in his absense! Jeremy, was extremely pleasant and the entire staff, from my cashier, to food preparation, to the nice older gentleman in the lobby were super friendly, helpful, and did an amazing job. The place was packed, it was dinner rush... about 6 pm and the lobby, soda & condiment station, & bathrooms were spotess! We received our food within 10 mins of ordering, it smelled so amazing we had to taste before leaving! Their chocolate milkshakes were amazing, their fries and onion rings were perfect, and even though we saved our sandwiches until we got home and kept them warm in the oven, the mushroom swiss ButterBurger and beef pot roast sandwiches were both excellent! We ordered two Double Deluxe Burgers. Wait was slower than typical fast-food burger joints but it is because they are not cooked until you order. On the very short ride home, we noticed that we did not smell the burgers. Typically, the smell of the food you have ordered, will fill the car with good smells but these burgers could not be detected. That was odd. Once home, & the bag was opened, they did have a good smell. The size was good but is definitely overpriced, I would have been very pissed about that, except we did have a coupon, which brought it down to what price it should be. During eating & afterwards, all we could taste was the onion. We are onion fans but these onions were over the top with taste. It was like eating an onion sandwich. Would only go back with a coupon and would definitely tell them to hold the onion! read more

I went on a Wednesday afternoon, and I went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 burgers 1 sweet tea, 1 water and 1 onion ring. So first off after they took my order I had to wait 10 min in the line just to pay, next I payed for my food and waited an extra 20 min for it. and after Im pulling out I look through the bag just too see that they messed up my order and didn't give me onion rings at first,so I had to pull around AGAIN just to get my onion rings. So then I pulled over by the good will parking lot to try the food and first off, no seasoning on the patty's, greasy asf, no flavor, fries tasted soggy, onion rings looked like they been sitting in the frying oil sense the AM. Sweet tea was trash, food was trash and to be honest I would have gave them 0 stars. And to be honest you guys should go to McDonald's instead which right next to Culver's which is very convenient because McDonald's knew they where trash and would get more customers. Absolutely love the food, but while I do like getting my burger handmade to order, I don't like having to pull up and wait as long as I do to get it. It's fast food for a reason. I don't get the point of the window if you're not going to pass me my food through it as fast as you can. I don't want to wait with the 5 other cars you have parked by the trash can. read more

Only reason they get 3 stars is because the food was good. The girl at the drive thru was very rude. I had never been to a Culver's so i had questions on the menu. The girl was less than helpful. I was at a culvers store on Cortez I placed an order for a Swiss burger and chicken pizza bites not the three piece but with the bites and came home with only the chicken strips and I called the store immediately and told them that they did not give me my full order they asked me to come back I told them it was too far away to return and I was told by the manager that I would get coupons in the mail he asked for my address and Never received any coupons so I was out the money for the Swiss burger store sucks read more

The North Atlantic Cod sandwich is superb. It is crispy, flaky, plump, cooked perfectly every time. They dress it right. Love it. Everything else tastes processed to the max. The custard, the fries, the burgers, all very processed. Skip the burgers, they are way way way too salty. But if you want a try New Englander's take on the Cod filet sandwich-it's amazing every time. I would've given it 1 star if I had had a burger first because it was gross. Tonight like every other night when I'm picking up my food at the drive-through there are two girls one at the window is taking the payments and one girl who's bringing the food out there extremely extremely rude and unpleasant so this is for the manager or for the owner who is reading this to pay attention on them or get rid of them because they're really really rude. Good frozen custard (IT'S NOT ICE CREAM GUYS! LOL) and I always get a chocolate cement mixer when i'm there (not too often.) This is not your typical fast food joint though some of the complaints I see people have on their reviews are some of the same issues I see people have frequently at fast food joints- drive through headsets and speakers are very spotty at times and the person taking your order may ask you to repeat yourself if you're not speaking clearly and loudly to them. Sometimes, mistakes happen. That being said, I had a mistake in my order for a cement mixer a few weeks back- inside the business not through the drive through. I specified chocolate and he still went and made it vanilla. So that's fine. He did give me a look about it but went ahead and made another, and in fact at no charge to me nor the other family he offered the vanilla one to a boy that was waiting for his food with his mother. Very nice, in my opinion, of him to do. Only took a few more moments to come around the counter with the correct one for me. And certainly not the end of the world to have to wait an extra minute or two. Burgers are great, chicken tenders are excellent their BBQ sauce they give optionally with the chicken nuggets are fantastic. French fries and onion rings are great. Overall definitely much better than any experience i've had at any other fast-food joint. These guys and girls who are working there work very quickly and i'm certain do their best. I give them credit where credit is due and I haven't experienced the same issues in manners and attitudes that others have evidently had at this location- I have as well asked questions about items on the menu and typically receive a quick but informative response. read more

I'm really not a picky person when it comes to service at fast food restaurants because I've worked fast food before and it's not fun so I always cut slack and give employees the benefit of the doubt. But I went to Culver's last night and just ordered a simple meal through the drive through. We pulled up and waited close to 10 minutes for our food, which I didn't mind. But then the lady brings up our food and collects the number. She forgot our drink so I tried to ask her before she walked away but she left in a hurry and didn't hear me. I looked in the bag and the order was wrong. I'll usually eat whatever but I ordered a burger and fry and this was some chicken fingers and nothing else. So I politely walked inside and waited another few minutes for someone to be free. I just handed her the bag and politely explained I got the wrong order and she was able to find me drive through order and reprint the ticket. Before she did this she low-key snatched the bag of food out of my hand and threw it away (in my experience they let you keep the order and I dont care, but it was also awkward, you know?). So then she gives this reprinted ticket to the cook and says "remake this". And so they remake the order and take 10 MORE MINUTES. I know this is a first world problem but like I already waited. And there's a guy standing next to me in line waiting the whole 10+ minutes and I'm thinking dang this man has a big order but he only ordered TWO CUPS OF ICECREAM. Like what!? So while I'm waiting this cashier awkwardly holds out her hand and I'm confused at first but then I realize she's looking at me trying to hand me something. It was a voucher for a free Sundae which I appreciate but it was so weird and I just wanted to go home. So she hands me my food when it's done and I asked about the drink. She said that they should have already brought it to me and hands me a cup. I had to go fix it myself and I got Dr. Pepper all over my hands (which is my fault because I'm clumsy). So after over 25 minutes of this drive through experience I had to walk my soda-covered ass back through the drive through waiting area with my food. I know this isn't a big deal but I PAID SOMEONE ELSE TO DO ALL THAT AND I HAD TO DO IT MYSELF. Culver's ain't THAT cheap. And say what you want about the Taco Bell across the street but it takes them like 45 seconds to make my quesadilla please and thank you. We went to Culvers for the first time last night. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. The beef was paper thin and had no flavor, the bun was not fresh, the red onions were past their edible prime. I would rather buy a $1 burger at McDonalds or Burger King than an overpriced $3 burger at Culvers. You get more meat and more flavor at the other 2 fast food restaurants. The fries are the crinkle cut type that taste just like the ones in the frozen food section from the grocery store. The malts are good as long as you don't mind chunks of powder. Way overpriced and poor quality food. For the same price you can go to Applebee's or similar and get a good meal. read more

The staff is exceptionally helpful & there when you need them, but sadly the food is pretty much tasteless. Hamburgers are boring & even the vanilla custard doesn't have much vanilla flavor. We are from up north and we have been enjoying Culvers for years, this was the worst experience ever at a Culvers. Very overpriced for what you actually get. Some of the ingredients are a bit better in quality than other fast food chains, but not by much and much of it lacks flavor (especially Cod sandwich). I was so excited to try Culvers coconut chocolate almond crunch today, and was extremely disappointed! First of all , I ordered 2 scoops and they were the smallest scoops ever put in a cone, and they were not inside but precariously balanced on the top not venturing deeper into the cone itself. Secondly the mix-ins were not really mixed in. Some were along side, but very little to speak of. One of my scoops was more or less plain ice cream and I'm unsure of where the coconut was, if any. I've gone to the new Culver's twice, once to the window and once inside, with a friend. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with double cheese and double tomato slices, but apparently the order-taker was not listening. There was just the regular cheese and tomato and no bacon. Jeremy, one of the staff, quickly made it right, and Keith, a busboy, was very helpful in getting us more condiments, napkins and water. I was disappointed with my chocolate shake, and Jeremy very kindly obliged me by loading up the shake with chocolate syrup. But Kathy, another staff member, took the time to come back to our table and explain that the chocolate shake is made with vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup added - which made no sense to me - and said that if I wanted a real chocolate shake, ask them to make it with "sub chocolate" and milk. I think that if they could charbroil their hamburgers they would be much more tasty, and while the burger patties are a good size they have no particular flavor, unfortunately. So I was impressed with the high quality of the service. the cleanliness of the place and the excellent design, but somewhat disappointed with the food, which was adequate but not so tasty. Also the French fries fell far short of those from the McDonald's across the street, and I believe Culver's ought to rethink them. They are big, which is a plus, but again, they lack any special flavor. Something extraordinary occurred the third time I went to Culver's. My debit card wouldn't go through, but when I called Bankamerica they said I had funds and there was no record of their trying to debit my card. I explained this to the cashier, and he paid for the meal! It was $10.31 altogether, and I was amazed. Also, I tried the sub-chocolate idea, with syrup, and it was great!
