I went to Culver's on a Friday afternoon for a quick bite to eat. It was my first time trying this restaurant. The line was wrapped around the corner. Once I finally got the the drive thru to put my order, I was not to sure what to get. I ended up getting the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. The customer service of the guy over the intercom was great as the person was patient and helpful with recommendations of what to get. The crispy chicken sandwich was yummy. The chicken was nice and fried. The fries were crispy. I feel like there are other places with decent crispy chicken sandwiches. This one is good but a little basic. I was exited to try the new restaurant I've heard good things about, so when it opened I stopped in and was impressed by how nice it was inside, and how friendly the staff was. Fast forward a few years and many visits later not much has changed, well except for the flavor of the day! The food is good and always cooked to order, and my order has always been correct, which is almost impossible to say about most fast food places. What I really like about Culver's is the cheese curds, they are amazing, well worth the upgrade over fries. Yum! Now THAT'S a tasty burger. I'm glad I watched Review Brah's YouTube review of Culver's. The burger looked soo good I had to try it. I was definitely not disappointed neither was the rest of my family. Tasty well seasoned burgers, awesome spicy chicken strips, crispy salty crinkle fries, and fried cheese curds. It was all great and had me wishing we had ordered more. Their house root beer was really good as well. The staff was also very friendly. We'd never been before and the guy working the register gave some good recommendations and didn't rush us at all. We'll be back. Wow! This Culver's location is FANTASTIC. I have gotten their food via drive-thru and dine-in. Both times, everything came out super quickly and perfectly. My butterburger was beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious. The beef was juicy and the veggies were fresh! Their chili cheese fries are out of this world! And oh my goodness, you must try their chocolate concrete. It's rich, smooth, and velvety! Also, HUGE SHOUTOUT to the fantastic employees. Everyone is super polite, friendly, and patient. No wonder their food is beautifully made, the indoor and outdoor seating area is pristine clean, and the bathrooms are always sparkly. I am normally very happy with the food and service at this location. I usually dine in, but I used the drive thru this time, which is a five mile drive. I ordered a ten piece butterfly shrimp, large cole slaw, and a medium tomato florentine soup. Imagine my disappointment when I get home and see that there was no container of soup in the bag. I guess I should be glad that at least the shrimp made it. I was very upset ,but the rest of the meal was great as usual. Culver's always brings back fond memories of my living in Rochester, MN. I developed a love for frozen custard and butter burgers. Each day in Charlotte, I would pass by signs on the highway that said Culver's was close by. I knew that I needed to visit one before going home. I was delighted to find a Culver's close to where my hotel was. I decided to go through the drive-thru and get some dinner to bring back to the hotel. The drive-thru is clean and straightforward. I ordered the bacon deluxe butter burger basket with fries and a regular strawberry shake. I then pulled up and paid. I got a number to place on my car's window. The wait wasn't bad. There was a person ahead of me. Moments later, a person brought my food over. He was friendly and great. I happily brought my food back to my hotel room after a good shopping day. The bacon deluxe butter burger was perfect. It was juicy and flavourful. It tasted so fresh. I have missed the crinkle-cut fries. They hold the ketchup so perfectly in all the grooves. The strawberry custard shake hit the spot. You got real chunks of strawberry. It was so good and creamy. I am so glad that I got my Culver's fix. This was our first ever visit to Culver's and it reminded me of another newer burger joint that came to our area not too long ago. That would be Freddy's. Both have a smashed type of burger, which I love. The crispy, lace like edges of the Pattie's are fantastic. Culver's claim to fame is the butter burger and it does not disappoint. The food is amazing for it being a franchise fast food joint. Fresh and hot ready to eat. It's not like your traditional fast food places where you get stale fries and cold meals. Customer service: friendly staff but they did get my order wrong on one burger. Mental errors are acceptable sometimes but if it happens more than once it becomes a problem. Food quality: fresh and tasty The cheese curds are amazing!!! The bacon deluxe was yummy and i can eat 5 of them and never get bored of it. We finally got to try Culver's in University area. I'm amazed!! The food was tasty and did not taste fake. We were expecting fast food atmosphere. But it was like a casual dining. Customer service was on point. We wanted to tip but I think they can't receive tips. Restaurant was clean and neat..even the bathrooms! Visited late one evening after arriving back at the Charotte airport after holiday travel. The food was everything you'd expect from fast food. I realized I needed a boost to make the rest of the drive home and went to order a coffee. It was about 10 minutes before they closed and the manager said they didn't have any coffee made at the moment, but that they would make a fresh batch. And they did - and brought it out to me. When you run a fast food restaurant and it's close to quitting time, it would have been so easy for her to say "I'm sorry, were out for the evening and getting ready to shut down". But she didn't. This place is extremely busy the cars lined around the building and the people inside waiting for food is a little outrageous. there was only 1 person taking orders with at least 2 families of 3 waiting head of hubby and I (YIKeS).. First time going to a Culver's and was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail by the crew. I ordered 2 different sandwiches; the Spicy Crispy Chicken with a medium Onion Rings was great. I also ordered a Mushroom and Swiss Butterburger with a large Onion Rings - this order was a total waste of time and money. All of the mushrooms were on one side of the sandwich and not spread around so by the time I get home (10 minutes) the majority of the moistness of this has soaked into the carrier and bag and, of course, no onion rings. Needless to say, this is also the last visit as it is not worth my time and effort to go back and stand outside talking with a careless manager who cannot manage and train his crew properly. read more

I stopped into Culver's for a late night treat after hearing about their custard. The menu is standard American fast food, with everything ranging from burgers and fries and even soup! Everything looked like it had reasonable fast food pricing. However, since I was on a mission to get dessert, I'll have to come back and try those another day. As far as the custard, I will say that it was extremely tasty flavor wise. It's definitely richer than a standard vanilla ice cream. However, in terms of thickness Culver's ranks on the softer more liquidy side. This isn't my preferred consistency, but I found to be a good custard experience nonetheless. The staff was incredibly friendly, and you can definitely tell that the restaurant was well maintained. They even came by to pick up my empty cup after I had enjoyed my treat. Until today I had never been to a Culver's. I used the Yelp app to talk me into giving it a try. It was pretty good for fast food. The restaurant, itself, is somewhat new. It appears clean and tidy in the dining area. There is a sanitation grade of 97 posted near the registers. The drink and condiment station was very tidy. The floors were free from noticeable dirt and debris. The restrooms were clean and smelled clean. The employees were very friendly. You order at the register, take a number, and then they deliver your meal to the table. All of this happened as planned and in a timely manner. Our orders were correct and warm. I ordered a beef roast sandwich. It was really good. My wife got a single patty mushroom swiss burger basket. It was also good and the fries that came with it were also good. Friendly service from a super nice gal at the counter who was kind and polite, as I was very overwhelmed by the massive menu board of burgers and custards and drinks. I eventually settled on two burgers and a small chocolate malt, placing my order and being given a number for my table even though it was to go. Nice to be able to sit comfortably while waiting. It didn't take long and the same gal brought my bag of food to me with a nice smile and I was off. I got about five minutes down the road before I started to wonder why they would have put the malt in the bag with the hot food. It turns out that they had not. I'll take come blame for that, I should have at least checked. Oh, well. Burgers at home were perfect. Cooked just right and the fries were still nice and crisp. Think Bob Evans decides to go fast food and you'll get a feel. Culver's is a nicely appointed restaurant with salads, shakes, burgers, and chicken or fish sandwiches. Not your McDs or Burger King kinda joint. My experience was pleasant, the line moved along, and plenty of seating available. I liked the TV'S in the dining area, too (which I typically loathe). Granted the place opened recently so it's in great shape; morever, my salad was prepared well (not artisan level but solid), the chicken tender and tasty. Tip: nutritional information posted on My Fitness Pal. A guy named Dan visited each table when things slowed inspecting how they're doing. Discovered later he was the owner, blue hat, shirt, and everything. I like that. I rarely eat much of their other stuff so I cannot comment, but if tempted I'd give that burger a try. While reviewing yelp for places to eat near my hotel, I saw Culvers and the cheese curds got me. I had to go and get my fix for dinner one night! Lots of people in the parking lot, and I went with the bacon cheeseburger with cheese curds. With a drink it came out to a little over $9. I asked for ranch instead of the marinara sauce that came with the curds and was told to drive up and wait for my food. A young boy (maybe 10?) came out with the food but when I saw marinara, I asked to replace with ranch. He happily said he would bring it out and I had to pull up more as the drive thru kept getting longer. The burger was really tasty, for a fast food joint, it was good quality. My husband and I were traveling through and stopped here for lunch. It was fantastic! The bathrooms were spotless, the service was great. We only had one little hiccup because we requested mustard instead of Mayo, and they put mustard as well as Mayo. I was disappointed right at first, but after eating it I changed my mind. That burger was so good! When we come back, I will definitely get a burger for myself. I don't know what their secret is but that burger was good. The frozen custard was everything. They messed up my order but I didn't feel like being bothered with going back inside. I was supposed to get two chocolates but they only gave me one. I am guilty of claiming great customer service is nonexistent but Chris and his staff proved me wrong and gave me a gift for the holidays which I won't be exchanging. Chris was delivering orders to vehicles with a smile and an enthusiasm for customer satisfaction that left me driving off with a smile. Service from order to delivery was friendly and quick. Today's flavor of the day - Chocolate Decadence - was devilishly delicious! The tenderloin sandwich is my personal favorite with a side of onion rings but sometimes I get crazy and order the crinkle cut fries. First, I want to start off with a positive as the food was solid so no complaints there. The service on the other hand was a complete and utter disaster to the point that we will definitely not bother with this location again, as the order wait times, online ordering curbside pickup system disorganization, employee apathy and poor attitude and the overall lack of accountability or acknowledgement by management was a huge turn off. We get it, times are tough these days in terms of staffing, but what you can control is your preparation, your attitude and your effort, and this location just seemed to have their hands thrown up in a defeated posture as orders were backed up, curbside orders being ignored, items being left off on orders etc. After placing an online order and receiving confirmation that it would be ready in 7 minutes, we parked at the 6 minute mark and waited...and waited...and waited... Eventually went inside and they were just starting our order even though it had been about 20 minutes at that point. Proceeded to forget to give me the drink that is included with the value meal and then copped an attitude when their error was pointed out. No acknowledgement from the manager at any point as his rationale to the frustrated customers was "COVID has impacted our staffing". First time to Culver's and it was not good but it was not bad. Culver's in my opinion is another version of Freddy's Steakburger and Custard. Prices are reasonable and the food was average at best although I do love the fact they have the large crinkle fries. This location is located on an outparcel of Ikea and depending on time or day may or may not be the easiest to access. If you are coming from I-85 will need to make a U-turn or enter the shopping center and work back towards Culvers. read more
