Can't lie this place took so long. Was it a FIRE meal though? Absolutely. Only one issue with today's meal. I got a custard to go and when I got to the car, there was a full on wrapper in my ice cream. I took it back and had to wait 5 minutes to even get someone to acknowledge my presence at the counter. I was standing there for so long that some woman wearing an outfit that looked like a banana (bright yellow sweater dress) became my friend. She was also frustrated with her meal too apparently because she said the customer service at this location makes her "a$$ itch". I cannot make this up. This woman, let's name her Susan. Susan must have rolled her eyes 7 times at Culver's workers because of their lack of attention to the counter. Culver's, please work on your service. And consider making the flavor of the day double strawberry again soon. read more

The crew behind the counter was terrible. The delivery and cleaning crew were great. The building smelled of BO or dead fish and not even frying burgers could cover that smell. My Chocolate Caramel Twist was just vanilla ice cream with a few specs of chocolate. When I questioned that it was the right order, the guy just stood there mute, waiting for me to take the cone. Hate to give a bad review for a respected chain that has been my go to place for years. But...the Voyager location has had the most atrocious service the last 3 times I've been there. The first instance, they kept me waiting extra long at curb pickup and then brought the wrong order. I knew it wasn't mine because it contained beverages which I didn't order. They brought it to another car. I could see them handing items to people in the car. Finally everyone threw their order back in the bag and the driver took it back inside. Obviously wrong also. Then they came out and said my sandwich was cold and they had to remake it. Another long wait. I finally got my order, when I git home, it also was wrong. Didn't get onion rings which was the main reason I ordered it online for pickup. Over a hour for an order placed online to save time. Second instance, also a mix up and got the wrong food. But......... the third time was the absolute worst. It was busy so I expected a long wait. However, after 45 minutes and I was almost the last person in the restaurant, I saw servers congregating by the counter in mass confusion. Someone yelled Don't take anymore orders. One person said I can get your shakes but we can't get your sandwiches. We're going to give refunds. There were sandwiches piled up in the queue, I said whose sandwiches are those? Nobody seemed to know. People started coming in from outside saying nobody else is getting food. I've been waiting over an hour, everyone still waiting is coming in for a refund. I said, I haven't eaten since 9AM, I'm hungry, I'll take whatever you have left. One young girl, bless her heart, looked at my number, went to the window and found 2 sandwiches and 2 shakes for me. They were cold by the time I got home and had to be reheated but at least we had food, it was after 9PM by that time. One disturbing thing, unrelated to my experience, was a very large women, wearing a filthy apron walking around during all this chaos holding a large scoop of custard in one hand and a dripping shake cup in the other. She never put the custard in the cup, just walked around with it talking to everyone. I don't think I will ever order custard there again If that is how it's handled. read more

Wow! As someone who has worked in restaurants in the past and still works in customer service, today's Culver's experience was an example of how NOT to conduct yourself in customer service. This was at the Culver's on Voyager Dr in Green Bay. The manager Jessica that was there this afternoon, 5/11, was extremely rude and unprofessional. My sister didn't get her order but other people after her got their order. She went back up to the counter to get a refund and the manager said "Well you could be at work for 10 hours" with a snarky tone instead of apologizing. I will not be back to this location again and it'll be awhile before I return to any Culver's. I am very disappointed as I have always enjoyed Culver's in the past. Before leaving my sister went to ask for the managers name (Jessica) and also asked for the store managers name but the counter staff said they couldn't provide the store managers name. I was throwing something away (my sister had left the building at this point) when I overheard and turned to see the counter staff talking and laughing about her asking for the managers name. I told them that was very unprofessional of them to be doing and they turned to look at me in shock. Laughing because you have an unhappy customer? But let's be serious, if they see how Jessica conducts herself with customers then of course they are going to act like that. I'm sure this is an amazing establishment for small groups. Everyone was very kind and as helpful as they could be, however, I do not think this place was built for teams/large groups at all. They are not able to split food bills and therefore it can easily take over an hour for a team's food to be done in the kitchen. And on top of that, they mix the orders together and have difficulty doing tax exempt meals as a group. read more

I have been to this culvers a lot, and most of the times I'm here it's pretty good. The inside is what you expect, booth & Chair seating, Pictures, Tv, Etc. I stopped in tonight for a simple ice cream cone. Millie stood at the register--she did not say a word such as "May I help you". I ordered a cone and she gave me a number. Then she proceeded to walk over to her friend who was busy preparing an order. Millie then looked up at the orders on the screen and walked around the corner. When she returned about 10 seconds later, she stood at the back counter---doing nothing. I used to work at Baskin Robbins, so I know what customer service looks like. So, I asked her--can I please get my cone. She replied that they were out of the special flavor. I asked her "when were you going to tell me they were out of the flavor?". She did not reply. So I said, "what are my other choices?". Her response was vanilla or chocolate. When I asked who the manager was, another employee scooped my requested flavor and handed me my cone. I left with my cone. My issue with Millie was that she was not forthcoming with the fact that they were out of my flavor---after she took my order, she wasted at least 2 minutes doing nothing (including getting me my cone). BOTTOM LINE--IF MILLIE WORKED FOR ME, I WOULD FIRE HER FOR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Went to the Culver's off Mason Street The other day. I got the Wisconsin Swiss Melt. It is a double patty that comes with Swiss Cheese and Fried Onions. I always add a Tomato to it along with some Pickles. I like Culver's for one simple reason: The food is always made fresh. You only wait a few minutes and you have your food. Everything is fresh and hot. I always end up getting a 'Value Basket'. It comes with Fries and a Drink. Try the Wisconsin Swiss Melt some time. It is very good! I have been in a couple times over the years. This location is always swamped busy so be prepared for that. I ordered the 4 piece buffalo chicken stripes and a side of coleslaw. The chicken stripes/tenders (not sure the verbiage they use) came nice and hot but were much smaller than the normal un-flavored ones they offer. The coleslaw is always a good size portion. Stopped in around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. It was extremely busy even at 2. The workers kept up with table wiping and getting orders in. The burgers were fresh and good. Really delicious- lots of quality options! The Garden Salad with grilled chicken is one of my favorites. My family also loves the cheese curds, chicken tenders, and fish options on the menu. We rarely have a bad experience here- everyone is really nice- but sometimes it can depend on who is working or if they are short-staffed. We tend to eat at this Culver's after going to the zoo, museum, Bay Beach, the movies, or theater performances so many of our favorite memories are made here. You just can't go wrong at Culver's. I mean, the employees could go wrong and mess up your order but still - it's consistently good...even when made wrong. Everything is always made fresh but the wait is worth it. The burgers are cooked perfectly and the fries are the best. The employees are friendly and the place is always clean inside. The menu is extensive - from burgers to sandwiches to fish to chili. The cheese curds, a Wisconsin staple, are pretty decent. The dessert menu has something for everyone. Having recently left the west coast, I miss In 'N Out but this is a suitable replacement for sure. Pro tip (cause I'm a Culver's pro at this point): order a side of cheese dip for your fries. For 2 years the owners have had enough time to figure out a safe and suitable plan for in person dining, yet every time my family passes by it's always closed. This leads to everyone having to sit in the drive through which is hopelessly slow and causes backups into the road. This restaurant is a safety hazard to the community and should be shuttered until a new and suitable owner can be found. read more

UMMM, gross! The people are pleasant and that's why I gave them the 2nd star. A bacon burger and chicken sandwich. The burger was old and dried out. The bacon was good, but the condiments were all over the place. The grilled chicken sandwich was not juicy but rather dry. No mayonnaise on it, but pickles and some other veggie. I really hate it when you're so hungry you stop at the first place you see, today that was culvers. The service is fine it's your standard fast food drive-through. Real treat happens when you actually eat the food. About 10 minutes after ingesting you regret every bite you took. Not a big fan of their shakes. I guess I just don't like custard. read more

Usually a big fan of Culvers but this location always has the ghetto run-down feel. Most times it's musty to moldy inside, water tends to be sitting on the floor near the fountains. Would rate it higher but this specific location I tend to avoid. Hanson or Voyager locations are much cleaner. read more

Ordered a cone, got a dish... Waited 10 min and got the ice cream without the burger... Oops! Newer staff didn't ask if I wanted cream while I waited for my burger... No customers at the counter when I left and staff just stared at me... Could have said, thanks, have a great day.... Wow!!! I will say though... New design of building is nice and dining room clean... Staff on break eating in the dining room seemed to really enjoy his food eating loudly :-) oh well, may be better next time!!! One of my worst experiences at Culver's. Not me and my friend ordered one item off the menu, and both took over 20 minutes to be sent to our table. Others at our table got more items faster and they ordered after. The staff were somewhat supportive once they found out, but they could have given a better explanation as to why they were so slow. There are serious problems with the food and service at this location. It takes FOREVER to get your order no matter how few/many customers are waiting. I waited with two other people at the counter for service while I counted 7 employees doing absolutely NOTHING---well, the person at the window was twirling coffee filters if that counts for anything. I have gone to the West Mason Culver's about once a year for the past five years and every time I say it is the last....needless to say it has been over a year and I haven't been back.
