Stopped by for their Breakfast buiscuits. I was amazed at the quality and flavor of the simple buscuit and sausage breakfast sandwich! It was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had in the last year! Some other places have dropped in their quality and are not superior! Really Good buiscuit and sausage patty! The WORST Wendy's I've ever seen in my entire 23 years of living! The customer service is HORRIBLE!! Update: I have been there a few more time since first writing this review. They really seem to have made an effort to be more accommodating to their customers. Hit or miss with this location. I've had some great service and had some really terrible service (like today). Food is consistent Wendy's food, but the girl who took my order today was tired and made sure everyone knew it. I had to remind her that I ordered a medium drink instead of a small and she just plunked my drink down as if she was very annoyed (which she obviously was). I know that good help is hard to find, but this place seems to epitomize that saying. This location is very close to me, but sometimes I will drive to another location just to get better service and less hassle. Make sure you have the correct order when you use the drive through, it can be hit or miss as well. read more

The customer service at the drive-through this morning got my attention because it was unusually well done. I'm assuming it was the manager...he greeted me genuinely, offered me a water and condiments at the window. And the food came out quick. That may not seem like a big deal because every fast food place offers you water and condiments with your meal, the difference was when he asked it didn't sound like a script. It sounded like he genuinely wanted to improve my experience. Which in the fast food world, is exceedingly rare. We sat in-line for almost 20 min. Got irritated and ordered online. Nothing happened. No food, no response except a We are closed from an employee through the door glass. I called to get ahold of the business as we need a refund. We sat in parking lot for 10 min. At least 8 other cats were in-line. No indicators that it was open not even a sign. When I did call in I get a horrible voice on the end that said Wendy's. I asked if they were open, they said yes. I asked why they were closed 20 min ago. Check your food before you drive off! I ordered a number one meal and the meat was cold and dry, like it had been sitting for hrs! Horrible place to visit. Young kids don't care about you as a customer. Order is always wrong, food temp is always not up to par and the attitudes are always bad. The employees on the night shift have music blasting and they play around too much in the drive-thru window. I would recommend just driving over to the other location on 380. We have visited this location maybe 3/4 times this calendar year. Last night, stopped by for burgers. Ordered at speaker. Drove up to window. Asked attendant to repeat amount. He looked at register and told me he had given the previous cat my order. Said fine, just remake it. I repeated my order and he somehow added another, different burger. I repeated my order and he still wanted to add the other burger. He asked me, so you don't want the cheddar burger and I again repeated my order. He had to get someone to come over and take the errant burger off of the order. There were 4 people behind the window. Three guys, two of which APPEARED to be brothers and one female. All 4 based on their actions and inability to focus appeared high on something. One of the males, while I was waiting for my order, walked up to the register by the window and grabbed a cup off of the window frame and tossed it at another employee. I had the unfortunate experience of going through the Drive Thru last night, my friend and I had four (4) total sandwiches which took approximately 15 minutes. I've worked fast food before, and unless you have a raccoon afflicted with some sort of syndrome or palsy making the food it shouldn't take that long, especially as the lobby was locked at 9pm and there was only car in front of us. Pot smoke wasn't billowing out of that car so we assumed it was an order for normal human beings. This experience took a fun turn when we got back to my crib to discover they apparently packed the bag by hurling the unlabeled sandwiches underhand from roughly 40 yards away into the bag, which resulted in a "fun" treasure hunt. We exchanged "is this one yours? *shrugs *" multiple times before we just ate whichever sandwich was closest, as though we had turned feral. I normally don't eat fast food but after i saw the commercial of the Classic Chicken Sandwich I wanted to save the extra 2 mile trip to Chick- Fill-A and give Wendys the opportunity but what a mistake! I remember years ago the Sandwich being so good and what a disappointment today. The sandwich looked like a kids meal and I paid $10 for a medium combo. Wendy's is great. This franchise sucks. I will never be back and will more than likely tell anyone I know that is flirting with the idea of this location to skip it altogether or just eat rocks instead seeing as how they will at least get what they were expecting with a good ol' limestone sandwich. For starters, on multiple occasions they just straight up cancel DoorDash orders for no reason (Hint - it's the employees that are doing it because nobody else in the area ever does, and I live 3 miles away from this location + they are clearly open because I just ended up driving up there in order to experience this crap first hand). Person on the headphones at the drive through knows a couple of phrases which consist of "Hold on" "What else?" and my favorite which is the loud and irritated "WHAT?" multiple times while you're in the middle of ordering. BTW, my radio was off and I do not drive a car with a loud engine. My wild theory is that the reason he kept saying WHAT? is that it was hard for this cat to hear anything at all because of all of the laughter and screwing off that you can hear from his colleagues in the background. Man they sounded like they were having a ball in there. Anyhow, when I pull up to the window I can't determine whether these people are about to fight, hug each other, or just have an all out dance competition with one of them getting "served" by the other. Hopefully somebody did in fact get served, because it for damn sure was not this fella right here with his tummy a rumblin' and what not. I mean, it was a complete kangaroo court in there and when the window was finally opened for me to pay the guy didn't even look at me or speak to me. Just held his hand out for me to place my credit card in, and held it back out the window without saying anything either. Head completely turned the other way just talking to his crew about how fun their job must be. To be fair it really did look like they were all having a blast. I do not want this story to take away from the fact that they clearly love their job. Free money and buddies with zero to none work amiright? Dream job. But at least my order was perfect!! Only thing is that I am just kidding and it was totally botched. Not even gonna break down the order I gave them versus what was received. It was freaking laughable, and at this point I wasn't even surprised. Threw it away after checking it because I wasn't about to take a chance biting into anything that came from this travesty of a burger joint. To wrap it all up - I am not even mad really. I don't want a coupon or a discount. I 100% do not want to be reached out to by the already absent owner or manager. I am just frankly never going to go there again. And as quick suggestion to whoever is losing money by owning or franchising this complete joke ... Either fire everyone and start over, or cut you losses and sell it to somebody that actually knows and cares about the basics of running a store like this. Afterall, It's your money that these fools are wasting for you day in and out. Last thing to quell any rating confusion - I only gave 1 star because I couldn't figure out how to give zero or negative stars. Visited this restaurant on Saturday, 9/24 at 8:48 pm to receive a free sandwich with the purchase of a premium sandwich after completing a survey that is on the back of the receipt. Upon completing the feedback online, I received a validation code to write on the back of the receipt. After placing the order at the drive-thru, the cashier told me to proceed to the 2nd window and will give me the amount due for the order. I handed the receipt to the cashier and was told by the cashier and another incompetent employee that they do not accept surveys. They only accept coupons. I explained to the two young men that Wendy's have these surveys on the back of every receipt. The Wendys on 1951 W. Eldorado Pkwy in McKinney is very unprofessional!!! read more
