    Chicken to GO
    Pam S.

Great location on 120th by Blondo St. busy during lunch hour but service was great & went quick! I ordered grilled Chicken with fries that came out shortly after our table of 7 sat down. Everything was served as ordered & the place is clean & neat. We had a nice server come by to check on us & he picked up all trays for the garbage. Nice service with a smile named Rolo. Also Linda helped get our food & utensils out quickly! Thank you for great food & service!

Lukewarm Butter Burger the cook apparently sat on to warm to room temperature.

This place is stunningly, shockingly, nearly-hilariously bad! I mean, I kept wondering if a hidden camera crew was going to come out and tell us we were the objects of a prank. There was non-stop bellering coming from the kitchen area. 4-6 kids standing around the drive-thru area doing nothing. ANGRY people, who had waited half-hour for their drive-thru order to come to them, were coming in to see what was going on. Half-dozen angry dine-in customers standing up front holding up their "number tent." I waited over 20 minutes after placing a VERY simple order: 2 single butter burger baskets. When I went to the counter, and FINALLY got the attention of one of the 10+ employees standing around, nobody had ANY clue where my order was. Half-hour after ordering, we got our order - lukewarm burgers that had were obviously made 25 minutes earlier, and a couple sleeves of something that kind of resembled 1/2" french fries. It was SO bad. During the hour we were there, I am positive that they got more orders wrong than right. Angry customers were everywhere. It was simply unbelievable. SO bad. We will NEVER patronize this restaurant again.

Vanilla custard, we saw a roach in it at 9:30 pm, they decided to scoop it out and keep using it.

Food is fresh, the people are friendly, and the custard is delicious. I work near by and go pretty much everyday.

My French fries were perfectly crispy outside, and tender on the inside, with that nice potato taste, instead of being overpowered by oil flavor.

For starters, we had the bacon-wrapped shrimp, which came with mushrooms on the side. It didn't look particularly appetizing when it arrived, but it was absolutely delicious. The mushrooms were especially good--salty without being overpowering, which I really enjoyed. To drink, I tried the sangria. It didn't particularly stand out, but it was still enjoyable. For my entrée, I chose the whiskey ribeye cooked medium-rare, and it came out exactly how I like it. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The salad bar wasn't huge, but it had a nice variety of toppings to choose from. The atmosphere is rustic with very dim lighting, and there were a few TVs throughout the restaurant as well. It does get quite loud when it's busy, though. Our waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience, and I will definitely be back.

But I'm not a huge fan. First, it's really, really dark and really, really noisy. Not a place for a conversation, especially if you are dining with kids. The salad bar is, well, meh. The tastiest part is the super sweet poppy seed dressing. As far as the stars of the show go, I've eaten several of their steaks. They've all been well marinaded and perfectly cooked, but the ribeye and strip had a lot of exterior gristle that should have been trimmed off before grilling. Meals come with a baked potato, and other sides are available. I wish creamed spinach and corn were options (it is the Cornhusker state, after all), but those are just my preferences. We made reservations weeks ago (we knew the College World Series would be in town) so we did not have the 2+ hour wait that less organized folks were complaining about. We were seated right away - yay, OpenTable! Service was very attentive, and our meal's timing was impeccable. Omaha has a lot of choices for carnivores, and The Drover is a long way from the worst I've tried. I'm just not not sure it's where I'll get my steak fix in the future.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

I noticed a lot of newer eateries and businesses in Aksarben since the last time I was there, so hopefully some of them stick around a while. Anyhoo, on to Crispy Burger! First off, the interior is bright and colorful, with a lot of orange, red, and then an accent wall of black and white geometric shapes. It's a super welcoming vibe! One thing that's kind of weird is that the building (and Yelp and Google) says Crispy Chicken, but all the wrappers and signs say "Crispy Burger" which was confusing. The smells inside when you walk in make your mouth water, so get ready to over order if it's your first time here (we definitely did!) They have a LOT of fried things, like fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, etc. So this definitely is not an every day place if you are looking for health food. We ordered the cheese sticks to start and they were enormous. Definitely shareable between a few people, as each cheese stick is like an appetizer in itself! I ordered the nuggets and fries, and they were really well breaded and pretty large. You can choose from about 1500 sauces for dipping (ok, maybe more like ten, but that's still a lot!) The fries were great too, that come as a side in your box. My husband had the bone in chicken wings combo, and he was very pleased with his choice. Gigantic wings, with fries, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Now is Crispy Burger fine dining or somewhere you'd go on a date night? Definitely not. But it's nice, tasty food, for a pretty inexpensive price. So I would definitely recommend trying it out next time you're in the Aksarben area!

They're perfectly cooked, with the char giving a nice Smokey flavor with the spicy and flavorful buffalo works; they work in harmony. Their ranch is nothing special but good, although the wings carry the weight on their own. They have a nice patio area right off of 60th and can hold a larger group of 10 or so. The inside is a bit small, still being able to sit groups of 6-8. They have TVs both inside and out, so you can watch sports and eat some great wings. The servers are friendly and it may not be the fastest food service, but without a doubt they pump them drinks out, plus the wings are worth the wait!

And if you know, you know--you have to order them charred. The extra flavor and texture take them to another level. I usually stick with the classic medium buffalo sauce, which has just the right amount of heat without overpowering the wing itself. One thing that surprised me the first time I visited was how good the cocktails are. Most people come for the wings, but don't sleep on the bar program. It's a great spot to grab a drink, catch a game, and enjoy some seriously solid food. Tracks has been an Omaha favorite for years, and after countless wing cravings, I can see why.
