This review is pertaining to their concrete mixers only. I ordered a cookie dough mixer from here a few years ago. There were hardly any bit pieces of cookie dough at all throughout the mixer. So from then on I traveled to Tinley Park Culver's for my concrete mixers which are usually hit or miss over there. Yesterday was my favorite flavor of the day, Devils food cake. I was going to make the trek again to Tinley but since the Orland location was much closer, I'd figure I'd give them one more shot. They failed, again. The mixer was 90% just dark chocolate custard. Hardly any bits of chocolate cake or novelty chocolate throughout it. There was one big piece of novelty chocolate stuck together at the bottom. The training regiment at this location on how to make concrete mixers is awful. The best concrete mixers for me is the Downers Grove location. They know what they're doing over there. When I get a Devil's food cake from their I can tell just by looking at it it'll be delicious as always. There's plenty of novelty chocolate & cake pieces THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MIXER FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. The Orland Park Culver's has been crossed off my list. I will not be returning here again. read more

Terrible. Every single time I go here, I order a veggie burger with NO cheese. Every single time I go here, the cashier tells me, "they don't come with cheese on them." I have to tell her, "yes, they do," and she tells me they don't. When I tell her this happens literally every time, she'll tell me not to worry, there won't be cheese on it. Well guess what? I take my number, go sit at a booth, and my veggie burger is brought out to me. With cheese on it. I take it up to the counter and they make me a new one. It's completely ridiculous. How is it that the cashiers never see that veggie burgers come with cheese, but the kitchen does? Oh, and by the way, this has been happening to me for about 3 years now. I don't intentionally go to this restaurant, I only come here when I am dragged by friends or family. Culver's needs to get their acts together. First of all, EDUCATE your staff. Let them know what goes on each food item. Second, update your computer system! You have wasted a lot of money remaking veggie burgers because the management is too incompetent to update the systems. The cashier does not deserve to be treated badly because the management here is sub-par. I gave this restaurant 2 stars, because the veggie burgers that they remake for me are pretty good. I love Culver's in general and usually never have a problem, but I've gone to dine in at this location twice within the last few years and have gotten sick each time. I eat Culver's often at two other locations and usually get the same thing, so I truly think it's an issue with this location. The staff appear miserable, which is strange since all my interactions with Culver's employees are usually really pleasant. The inside is messy and disorganized, and there's a really awful smell along with unattended buckets of dirty water and rags near where customers eat. I'm really unimpressed with this Culver's and will probably never eat at this location again. read more

as far as fast food goes, I would definitely pick Culvers over McD's, Burger King, Wendy's any day of the week! Not just because their burgers are better -- because they are, but because they also have a better selection - pot roast, chicken, cheese curds, etc. and of course some great ice cream. I also like that they bring the food out to you. With respect to this particular location, it's pretty standard. Nice people, clean, good service. All of which I have come to expect when it comes to Culvers - pretty good considering that with other fast food chains, you come to "hope for the best" when it comes to both food and service. As regular customers of this Culver's location, tonight was our very LAST visit! We will NOT be back and they have lost our business forever. My young son loves Culver's and this has been our Mommy-Son date night location for a while now. Tonight we walked in and ordered our food at the counter. We planned to take our food to a table, sit down, and enjoy it. However, because I could not display my personal medical records for them to see and a photo ID, I was I told that my son and I were not allowed to sit down in their dining room and we must take our food to go. We were grossly discriminated against. My 2 year-old son is too young to receive the experimental medical procedure that they wanted proof of and I have a health situation that makes it very dangerous to receive the experimental medical procedure that this fast food establishment is requiring in order to sit in their dining room. I am currently in good health, have very strong natural antibodies to the virus everyone is afraid of, and I do much to boost my immune system. My Primary Care MD has strongly advised me, for the SAKE of remaining healthy, not to inject what would be poison and potentially deadly to my body. Therefore, I was grossly discriminated against at Culver's this evening! This location is also in Orland Park, a village that is EXEMPT from the current Cook County discriminatory mandate! They do NOT have to discriminate against their *unvaccinated* customers like this! In addition, we stood at the counter waiting for our food to take it to go sit in our cold car and eat it, since we weren't welcome in their dining room. While we waited, I heard dry, barky, consistent coughing coming from the corner of the dining room. I looked in that direction and there were three adults and two children sitting around a table eating. At that point, I could both hear and physically see that one of the boys was coughing a lot. Then, I noticed there was only one other customer in the entire dining room, sitting in a booth by himself. He had a stack of napkins and was sitting there blowing his nose and digging into his nose with napkins. At that point, I was actually happy to take my little boy out of there and avoid exposing our healthy selves to that dining room with germy, apparently *fully vaccinated* people! What I was not happy about was the personal discrimination I experienced this evening. From now on, we will spend our money somewhere who welcomes EVERYONE and does not discriminate! read more

I took my family here for a quick dinner and usually I've never had a bad experience at a Culvers. However, it took a lot longer than normal to get our food and when we got it the order wasn't right. The worker that brought us our food didn't know what to say when we politely told her our sons food was wrong. So after staring blankly for what seemed like a lifetime she said "well what do you want me to do"? Really? At this point we had been waiting so long for our food we just told her it's fine and decided to do with what we got. And if that wasn't enough when I went up to get the scoop of the day and they brought it to us it was wrong as well. Either way I guess you can't expect much from fast food. Main Course Dinner = A+ Dessert = F* *Poor customer service for serving dessert to my child--who went up alone to get her Custard and got "lost in the shuffle" because a worker dropped the ball--and made her wait for more than 10 minutes for a simple cup of custard. I realized something when I was eating my second loaded double butter burger meal. This is the only restaurant that the food they bring out actually looks like the picture. I placed my order and lightning quick it was at the table. But it wasn't mine. So I brought it to the counter and told them what happened and they gave it to the cook like it was his fault. Then the guy came walking by with my order and I said that that was probably mine. So I took it back to the table. I was almost finished when he brings me another one, hands me a take home container and told me they made it again and for me to take it to go. Right! It's going to make it that far. So I ate it. I absolutely love the sweet potato fries and I stopped there the other night primarily to order them. Only to find out they don't have them anymore. I guess they are a seasonal item. I guess I would have taken it better if a huge sign advertising "sweet potato fries" was not the first thing I saw when pulling in to the drive through. Marketing is a huge thing with me. If I see it, I will usually buy it. Then you get me up in line and don't have it? This is very disappointing for the very high standards that I expect of Culver's. read more

I can't even begin to explain how dumb my recent experience here has been! So I ordered a double butter burger basket with ONLY ketchup and mustard, cheese curds, and a Sierra Mist. I realized once I got home that the burger was made wrong. It had EVERYTHING on there BUT what I asked for. Problem because I'm allergic to Mayo. I take the food back....annoyed of course with good reason because a meal I was going to enjoy with my family has been ruined. So I had to leave and replace the food while my family continued their meal. I get to the restaurant and went through the drive through. I provide the receipt and explain my issue to the guy working the window. Not only did I explain it to him, I explained it to EVERYONE who was practically working the window at that time. I asked that my WHOLE meal be made over. Not once but THREE TIMES I SAID THIS! They reassure me they understand my request. They tell me to pull up and it'll be right out. I wait 5 minutes for them to bring me a burger and the guy says "oh...I through some fries in there to make up for the inconvenience." I'm confused because the bag is really small. So I open the bag, and notice there are NO cheese curds in there. So I stop him and ONCE AGAIN repeat myself about my WHOLE meal being remade. The guy reluctantly decides he'll just go grab cheese curds and I can keep whatever he's given me already. While he's gone to grab the rest of my meal, another person walks up and asks if there's anything she can get me for the wait. I tell her to surprise me. She offers a chocolate shake. Cool. Great. Thanks. She comes back with the shake and no cheese curds. I reminded her I was still waiting on my Sierra Mist and cheese curds. She nods and walks off. The girl comes back with my cheese curds and walks away. I remind her of the Sierra Mist again. She walks away and comes back with the drink. At this point I've spent 20 minutes trying to get, if I must say, the SIMPLEST meal right! I leave with a partially cold burger, partially cold fries, hot curds and a Sierra Mist with melted ice and a melting shake. I get home...this is where it gets dumb...I get home to find out they have yet again...made my burger wrong! This time they've put EVERYTHING on there except mayo. Now I'm annoyed! I try to call, the call doesn't go through. I'm forced to drive BACK up there. This time I let my mom drive. We get in the drive through and we're at the window speaking to the woman about the meal. (The same woman who brought me the shake.) My mom begins to explain, I stop my mom and tell her the woman knows. The woman nods and says let me write this down so we can get this right. She writes it down and my mom hands her the bag with the fries and burger in the bag. She takes everything and disappears to the back. She comes back and practically tosses the bag in the car, says thanks and walks away! This place is trash! They're attitudes are garbage. I'm even more upset that stupid me didn't check my food before I left the second time because I couldn't see them being dumb enough to make the food wrong a second time...especially not this SIMPLE burger! The fact that my meal has been ruined not once, but twice and no one showed any type of sympathy has left a bad taste in my mouth! I go to this location often, and I can't see myself going back. This was horrible. I couldn't get a manager to come and say anything! They threw this burger in a box and gave it to us! The point of me asking to have my meal replaced was so I can have a full meal at once UNINTERRUPTED. Now I have a fresh burger, cold cheese curds, and TWO Sierra Mists that are watered down. I'm extremely disappointed!!! I don't even want this meal anymore. I would have had a better chance at spending less money at Wendy's instead and getting my meal right the first time, and saving my $30! Culver's is ALWAYS worth the few extra dollars simply because of the quality of food. Their process is by far one of the best models in fast food and the product speaks for itself. The people just top it off perfectly. You will not be anything but pleased dining in or taking out delicious food from Culver's. I have several times did take out on fish plates with much success. About a month or so ago, they forgot the cole slaws. I did call them and they sent a coupon for a free sundae. Yesterday, we picked up 2 cod plates and I did not check the bag, got home, only 1 tartar sauce that we ended up sharing and no ranch dressing for the salad. I did call and they said they were busy and offered to send out coupon for free sundae. I declined as wanted my tartar sauce - thank goodness had salad dressing in the frig to use. Stopped at Culver's to get some ice cream with my mom today. Upon getting our ice cream and finding a place to sit outside, a couple with their dog sat down. This couple then began to place their dog on the table right next to ours. THIS DOG WAS EATING AND SITTING ON THE TABLE. The couple ate their ice cream while petting the dog and allowing it to shake everywhere. We mentioned this to the manager and he did nothing to stop it. This is absolutely disgusting. Being a dog lover myself, I would never allow my dog to sit at a table where people eat their food! Especially children! Terrible place and terrible cleanliness. Don't be surprised on your next visit like we were when we ordered the fried chicken dinner. This location no longer has the fried chicken. I ordered the chicken and ended up with fried cod. I do believe the young lady who took the order misunderstood me. When the dining room attendant came to ask how every thing was, I told him I did not order this and asked about the fried chicken, he checked with the manager and sure enough, they do not carry that item any more. I ordered the chicken tenders and they were okay, very crispy. As a "we are sorry" he gave us a scoop of the custard of the day.
