Service was quick & courteous, very friendly & helpful. Atmosphere is very nice decorated well for Culver's. The Walleye fish was awesome. One late he finished her fish sandwich and another one didn't quite. One person took her meal half her meal home and I'm taking half of mine home. It was delicious. One lady ordered the shrimp and she really liked it but split it with a friend who gave her one piece of her fish. A tiny bit on the pricey side, but not bad. We all enjoyed it.So

I love the food here. Nice and hot fresh cooked to order. Friendly helpful staff. Nice clean location. Easy to get into and out of location.

The place floors were dirty. Tables not cleaned, restrooms had no towels or liners. Fish was awful, not a full size fish fillet at all, fries were too salty.

I stopped in just to get some frozen custard on a hot day. They always have three flavor options - chocolate, vanilla, and a flavor of the day. It was butter pecan when I went so I got a small dish of it with brownie bites as a topping. It tasted good and was a good price. The inside was very clean but the service was rather slow for how dead it was and how simple my order was.

First Time Customer via Uber Eats First Impressions Best Broccoli & Cheese Sauce! Butter Cheese Burger Value Basket- You will need a triple burger since the patties are thin smashed. Not bad. Mayo, ketchup, pickles, lettuce and grilled onions. Crinkle Fries- Tasty and cut real good. Root Beer: Really good. A little bit like Barq's but still good. Maine Rootbeer better. Cheese Curds- It's that good! Cheese Sauce- You will need to dip everything on this sauce! Overall I love this place. It was a recommendation from one of the guys at Enterprise Rent A Car.

I'm from Orange County, California and my annual visit to Phoenix wouldn't be complete without coming to Culver's. Unfortunately, there's no Culver's in California, but maybe one day! I first tried Culver's over five years ago, drawn in by their reputation for cheese curds, and they haven't disappointed. I'm on a mission to try everything on the menu, they have an extensive menu for a fast-food joint. Here's what I've tried. Mushroom & Swiss Single ButterBurger $5.09 | The Culver's Bacon Deluxe Double ButterBurger $7.99 | Original Chicken Tenders 2 pc $3.99 | Buffalo Chicken Tenders 2 pc $3.99 | North Atlantic Cod Sandwich $6.99 | Small Crinkle Cut Fries $2.29 | Medium Wisconsin Cheese Curds $4.49 | Large Onion Rings $5.29 | Medium Chili Cheddar Fries $4.49 | Medium Mashed Potatoes $2.49 | Small Vanilla Concrete Mixer with Brownie Pieces $5.79 | 1 Scoop Chocolate Covered Strawberry Frozen Custard with Eli's Cheesecake Pieces $3.99. Standouts for me are the butterburger, chicken tenders, cheese curds and frozen custard. The butterburgers are solid fast-food fare, though not quite at the level of In-N-Out, Shake Shack or Five Guys. You'd be expecting too much if you thought that much. I won't compare it to White Castle since it's just different. I'd say it's pretty on par with Whataburger, maybe even a little bit better, although I will say Whataburger is decent too. It's better than Mcdonald's (still decent) and Sonic Drive-In (meh...eh). The single burger here is pretty big, I get full off it. The original chicken tenders are a hit, even rivaling Jack-In-The-Box. The batter they use here is lighter yet still crispy with good flavor. Ok, don't @ me, they're good but they're not better than Raising Canes or Popeyes, but they still hit the spot. While the buffalo tenders are decent, I prefer the original with a side of buffalo sauce. A 2 pc is the perfect size for me with sides. The cod sandwich is good and surprised me with its hoagie roll. The sandwich itself is quite big and I get full off just this. The crinkle cut fries are delicious, a mix between Shake Shack and Del Taco fries. The cheese curds ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST, comes with two cheeses, un-aged yellow and white Wisconsin cheddar cheese. There's nothing to compare them to because they're THE BEST. Their onion rings are bomb. Their chili is delicious and so are their mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes taste similar yet slightly different from KFC, but the gravy tastes different. The frozen custard here is to die for. You could make any combo and it would taste good because the custard is just that amazing. They have new daily combos every day from what I've seen. The chocolate covered strawberry flavor that I got was amazing. One scoop of frozen custard is a good size for me, I often find myself saving some for later. The concrete mixer is even bigger but also very delicious. The service is friendly, and the pricing is fair for the quality and quantity. My only wish is for a drive-thru pick-up option on their mobile app, which occasionally has glitches. Despite that, my dreams are filled with thoughts of Culver's. Don't assume that just because it's fast food, it's bound to be not good. If anything, this might be one of the better fast-food options out there. A must-visit.

Here is the fish with the uncooked batter.

Got a 3 piece cod dinner it was not cooked fully as you see in the pictures the batter wasn't cooked though. They forgot the fries in the meal also. I went back and got my $ back for the meal , I asked for the manager they said there was nobody there , so they let me talk to a shift leader. They offered me a coupon for a scoop of ice cream. You will see all in the pictures with receipt. The health department will be called as will corporate office. Have fun with that it's locally owned by Jason Kveton and Brian Farrell.

Sweet Sassy Molassy!!! That could be the best "fast food" burger I ever had. And the fries were great too. Employees were super nice. A+!!

By far the worst. Ordered ice cream just for it to be melted while I waited in the line. Don't recommend going to this one.

The chunks of meat are generous and I've never bit into anything wierd (that's a deal breaker for me) and the broth is nice and thick. I'll rip a chunk of the perfectly fried, but not too greasy bread and dunk it into that fabulous broth and it emerges perfectly coated, getting soaked up by the little fried crunchies. And don't worry about it ever being soggy, you'll never leave it on your plate long enough for that to happen. Once you taste that first bite you won't talk to your friends, or check in on your phone, or even wipe up your kids spills until every morsel has been consumed. I'm telling you this dish will change your life. Just don't be thwarted by the jerk outside selling jewelry. He's unpleasant and obnoxious, and he has a nasty mouth. I did some research and found Fry Bread House on the way to the airport, a James Beard award winning restaurant, and it did not disappoint. I got the Birria taco with the dipping sauce and it was amazing. The meat was tender with a generous amount, topped with cheese and onions. The sauce was the star. I could only eat half and took the rest with me. It didn't travel as well but it still tasted good. If you are in the Phoenix area, make a stop here. They also have parking in the back which makes it easy.

We went the same day, arrived to discover there was an accident that took out the stoplight and hit the owners car. Even with that going on, she welcomed us and we ordered a couple of burritos while taking not of all of the fresh pastries and other goodness. We ordered one beef and green chile and a Sausage breakfast burrito. They make their own sausage for these from a recipe that has been in the family for over 100 years, and I highly recommend it. Both were exceptional and they are huge and do not skimp on the meat. After those we could not pass up grabbing some of the Maple Peach bread pudding and an Apple Danish. The Apple Danish was outstanding, cannot speak to the bread pudding as that disappeared before I was able to try it. This place is awesome, great food, great staff, great atmosphere, and we will be adding this to our breakfast rotation for sure. I need to return to try the burgers, and I'm certain they will not disappoint. If you are in the area, this is the place you need to try for sure.

People treat fast food reviews like police reports, they only come calling when there is an issue…read more So I like to balance that out and provide reviews when fast food delivers! This drive-thru-only location is basically the Formula 1 pit crew of chicken sandwiches. The line can look terrifying, but somehow you still get your food faster than most places take to say "welcome in." The staff is consistently friendly, the food actually looks like the menu pictures (a miracle in fast food), and the whole operation runs with suspicious levels of efficiency. There is a patio if you're feeling adventurous, but this is Phoenix, where sitting outside half the year feels like volunteering to be slow-roasted. Thankfully, this spot is perfect for grabbing lunch on the go or picking up dinner on the way home. Fast, friendly, accurate, and reliable, the fast food equivalent of finding a shopping cart with all four wheels working.

So I'm updating my previous review because... plot twist, we had a situation…read more I originally gave this place 4 stars because overall they've been solid. Fast, efficient, food hits, no major complaints. But after my most recent experience, I'm dropping it to 3. I ordered online, paid ahead, did the whole "I'm a responsible adult" thing. I get there, give my name, pull up, and suddenly I'm told my total like I never paid. Then someone loudly calls out from the back, "OH! it declined." First of all... what? Second of all... inside voices?? Here's the kicker: it did NOT decline. I had the confirmation email, and my bank showed the charge (I didn't know this yet). Instead of verifying, she told me matter-of-factly that it declined, so I handed her the exact same card I used online, and she ran it again. Boom, double charged. And at that point, I'm starving and not about to fight over a fast food order, trusting that staff are doing their due diligence, not just assuming and casually charging a second $30 like it's no big deal in this economy. I had to go back through the drive-thru line (again), wait (again), and deal with it while my food sat getting soggy (not again, unfortunately, just once was enough). To their credit, the refund was issued and it did hit my account. So yes, they fixed it. That matters. But... this shouldn't have happened in the first place. It's a training issue. If an order is confirmed, don't assume it declined. And maybe don't announce someone's "declined card" across the building like it's a group discussion topic. Still a decent location... would be smart to verify before you charge people twice (maybe my expectations are too high?) and I will never order online again because of this, lesson learned first time around on that.
