"Hey, you'll be a block from Whataburger. How about s burger?" Was my command. Whataburger got an upgrade since I last visited. Really clean, nice uniforms, probably excellent food I'll have to take home. I have to commend Ale's parents. They raised a fine, caring, hard-working daughter. She also sticks to food service oolicy and rules. Big Drinks! We ate our burgers, fries and onion rings. Every bite gone, every drop of that giant root beer sipped. Thank you for scoring me points at home.

First time having Whataburger and I thought it was not bad for fast food. I found the green chili burger to be bland. If I order it again, I definitely need some acidity in it like pickles or tomatoes. I enjoyed the chili cheese burger and think it's a strong upgrade from Weinershnitzel. I like that the chili doesn't have any beans. Service was friendly. I'd rank Whataburger above Wendy's and Jack In the Box, tied with Five Guys, but far below In N Out.

I had to get whataburger and got a number one meal with cheese. Had to get 1000 island sauce. The people were helpful and I got my order at a reasonable time. I had to get a meal and Dr Pepper. The place was cleaned and a little bit of empty.

Oh man! I SO wanted to love this place like the Whataburgers I have been to in Texas. Meh. It just wasn't great. The fellow that took orders was pretty clueless and not really sure what came on the burgers. When we arrived the manager was having dinner in the dining room and everyone was left to fend for themselves. He was a very nice guy and everyone has to eat so of course we didn't hold that against him. But what was less than enjoyable was the cold french fries the burgers with the soggy buns and no offer of bringing the condiment tray around like they do in Texas. I went up and got our catch-up and salt. That was fine I wasn't bothered. But something was off. The quality standards here are very low. My wife lived in Austin for nine years and Whataburger was her favorite. This was her least favorite. I'm sorry I wanted to love it, but it was all just wrong. Maybe there are other locations in Phoenix that don't suck. But this one ain't it.

Got my order wrong by swapping burger condiments and when I got my food, it was already cold. Was not worth the hefty price.

Not worth your time or effort too many other far better choices for food in this area. But, if you like disappointment. This is your spot.

That location is close to a place I go to frequently, so this is another option for me if I should need some food and don't want to do Salad & Go, but want something healthy. I got an Asian Grilled Burrito with Wild Salmon. Was driving so a bowl I could not do. I could barely eat the burrito driving because it's sort of flat and had rice. It was very yummy. Something I learned was Angie's does not have straws and if you order a Refresher, they give you a packet of something to put in the cup. You have to figure out how to make the Refresher, which I saw at the soda fountain dispenser there was sparkling water, so I did that and some Vanilla Torino's. I went about 11 am, and the Torino's were nearly gone and the little table that it was on was fairly unclean. The area to order, where you pickup the order, the soda area, and the metal table by the soda area were all really close and crowded. Since this was my first time there, I didn't even understand that you had to order at some kiosk. They had one by the pickup area and 2 more on the east wall. Felt overwhelming for me. I did not see what the dining area looked like. My burrito was $11-12 and the Refresher was $2. My daughter said their prices were much better than Salad and Go and other places, but I found my meal similar. Oh, I guess the getting wild salmon was the costly thing. Had I gotten chicken, it would've been much less. My daughter said she's never had their burritos, only their salads. A lady that had ordered many times there did help me with some things I didn't understand and she said she loves their food. Turns out the owner of Angie's named the places after his mom who passed away about 5 yrs ago. He also started Salad and Go and this is upscale from Salad and Go. I'm glad this is an option. But maybe they can keep prices good is to cut on the things that don't really matter as much and focus on the food. I'm good with that. The next time I go to an Angie's, I will be better prepared. There isn't one too close to me like there are lots of Salad and Go's, so I hope they open some in Gilbert, Mesa, and Scottsdale. Oh, parking is not that great at this location. You basically need to be heading east on Thomas before 1st Ave as there are a few parking spots on the diagonal. Don't park in the First Watch parking lot. If you're coming west on Thomas, make a u-turn after you pass 1st Ave.

Knowing my food will be hot every single time is a rare guarantee in fast food. While their chicken and fries are mildly seasonsed, the special sauce is almost flavorful enough to make up for it. And for me the real star is the coleslaw. It's not too sweet and not to tangy. It's exactly the way I prefer. The drive thru moves quick and the service is always good.

And slides his food to him. I don't care if a person is homeless or all the way to rich. A person is a person and the fact she was so damn rude and disrespectful to him says everything that she shouldn't be working in customer service. The employee was an elderly woman, wears glasses, and short. I wrote a complaint on the canes website and got a call from the customer service line but I missed it. So I called back 4 times and never picked up the phone. The layout is a bit challenging since the menu board faces perpendicular to where you enter. When I arrived a group were craning their necks to read the options. This is not fancy. My order was called and I had the charcoal grilled fish and my friend had the classic burger . We also split the chili fries. Both came on paper fry containers and a cafeteria style tray. There was a large condiments stand with wagon wheels. It is similar to chuckbox but much larger. The food was decent and the fish cooked correctly. I apologize for no pics, we were engaged in a stimulating conversation. People put food first but in today's workd, we need to spend more time talking and listening to one another. I completely forgot to take pics of the food. Overall, it is a simple smashed style of burger patty. The ambiance is lower lighting with a western aged setting. Think traditional western style.
