I've never been to a Culver's before but came in a couple of days ago with a buddy that had been here before. I'd already eaten earlier but what my buddy ordered looked pretty good (chicken salad and a bowl of chili). Looking around at the other peoples' food around me, it also looked pretty good. A little on the expensive side though. I would put Culver's on the upper scale of fast food. This is not a tableservice type restaurant. You go to the counter first, then order, pay and then they bring your food to you. Self-service soda machine etc. I'm not exactly sure what Culver's specializes in? It looks like a variety of higher end fast food with an emphasis on hamburgers. It would be better if the Culver's name also included/reflected an identity in the title. For example.... In-N-Out Burger, KFC, Pizza Hut, Del Taco, Subway Sandwiches. No confusion as to what those companies are about. If I hadn't come in with my buddy (who already knew what Culver's was) I wouldn't think to come here. However, because the food looked pretty good, I'll try them when I'm in the area next time. While traveling through Prescott, a couple of college students recommended we go to Culver's for lunch. We are so thankful we listened to them!! We ended up going to both locations (Prescott 1st, then Prescott Valley 2nd) and noticed how clean and fresh everything was. All the workers (and I mean ALL THE WORKERS) never stand around and act immaturely or gossip. Someone is always cleaning, refilling, holding the door open, waiting for customers to make up their minds choosing from the vast menu etc., LOL. Although their crispy chicken sandwich needed mayo, it was fresh and delicious, and their fries aren't greasy either. Their salads are just as good as their frozen custards, which means practically everything on their menu is pretty darn tasty. We all will make sure to visit Culver's anytime we travel to Prescott. We like Culver's so much, we now I wish there was one near us! read more

I last reviewed Culver's Prescott Valley in November, 2018 with a 2 star rating and a not so favorable synopsis. Well, things have changed, at least for now. But, my wife and I decided to try them again after a 3-1/2 year break and we both were pleasantly surprised. The staff were polite, friendly and interactive that was very inviting. The food was hot, fresh and delicious like it used to be. We ordered the Double Butter Burger and onion rings. Everything was delicious! I have already picked out the meal I will order when we come back, which will be soon. Way to go Culver's management for correcting the lapse in attention to detail. Friendly person that took our order, but from there not so good. Food quality prep basic cheeseburger probably worst I've ever had ate from any Culver's, French fries old, onion rings old and over cooked, fried shrimp over cooked. Not good image for this Prescott Valley location unfortunately. I was going take order back up, and complain, but watched young on-duty manager (21 years old max) spending most of his time talking and laughing non stop and really not paying attention at all. So, This point knew right from get go he wouldn't take much action anyways. Lastly, most (90%) tables were filthy, and hadn't been cleaned for awhile. This location probably wouldn't pass sanitation inspection if done that day. Recommendation: Owner better get some serious re-training going soon or likely will start losing serious money & customers. Hope this location turns around!!! read more

I'm glad to give Culver's 4 stars. I almost never give fast food places more than 3. The service is excellent. Smiling faces and very helpful. The food is fast-food, but pretty darn good. Drive thru employee, Shana, was very pleasant and efficient. We got a single scoop and a sundae, which is supposed to be 2 scoops (only one size) but it looked about the same as the single. Way overpriced, as is the case with most ice cream places nowadays. They were tasty enough, I suppose, but not nearly as creamy a Freddy's--unfortunately an hour away. Quite decent for fast food. Fried cod was definitely good, not excellent, but probably about as good as fast food fish n chips gets. Salad with grilled chicken was good, not great but a solid good. On the fast food scale this isn't bad at all, but if you're expecting something other-worldly you'll probably leave disappointed. I will be back to try a burger in the future and would not turn my nose up at Culver's as a known quantity if it was convenient... but I don't believe this transcends the normal bell curve of fast food. The drive through is packed every day at lunch time so I guess that speaks favorably for Culver's. read more

You've got to be kidding me. A friend recommended this place to me, raving about their burgers. The first time I came here I got the Double burger basket (meant to get the single). Anyway, the burger was really mediocre and the fries were just tasteless. I wanted a Diet Coke, which they didn't have. So I ordered (watered down) tea. I paid $11 for this mess. Anyway, being a glutton for punishment I figured maybe it was just a bad experience and I would try their food again. So back I go to Culver's and decided this time, since the burger and fries were so bland and the tea wasn't impressive, that I would just get some chicken tenders. Since there was a line I got on my phone before I actually got up to the menu board. I checked out what was available and what the cost was, so I was prepared to pay $4.99 for my tenders. When I got up to order and looked at their "Value deals" (which are baskets) the price listed for the chicken tenders alone was $6.19 and the basket value deal would be $10.19. I think I'm missing the value part here. I ordered the tenders since I was already in line. For $6.19 I figured those would be some awesome chicken tenders. Everyone was super nice and I got my order pretty quickly. I pulled over to eat since I was in transit somewhere. I opened up my box of chicken tenders to find four, 3 1/2 inch chicken tenders that were flat and looked like a little kids fish sticks (but a little wider). I honestly thought they were fish sticks because the breading looked like the breading for fish sticks. Wow. Epic fail- again. It truly makes me sad because there are so few options for decent food that is quick here in Prescott/Prescott Valley. I will be more than happy to go to Texas Roadhouse and get a 6 ounce steak, baked potato and a salad plus two rolls for $9.99. Or even their fried chicken dinner. There is no way I would ever come back here or recommend it to anyone. My dad has lived in Prescott since 1994 and he ate here once. Now I know why. Should have listened to my dad. read more

First time here at Culver's. It was a great experience, people are friendly food is good and the place is clean and designed well. We ordered the Culver's deluxe burger it tasted great fresh meat softball and very good. Fries were crispy fresh. We even tried the vanilla and the rocky road ice cream which was surprising great. I thought i would wait until I ate here 3 times, to make sure it wasn't a "one off". The food is awesome. Frozen custard is wonderful. But the customer service is outstanding. There is only one other place in this area with service this good, and Culvers probably has them beat too. They stand out because Customer Service in fast food these days is abysmal. No one smiles, no friendly greeting, no work ethic at all. It used to not matter what you did for a living. You treated every customer like they were all that mattered at that moment and you loved the privileged of making their experience the best you can. If you hated your job, you saved expressing those sentiments for when you were on break or at home. At work you smiled for your customer and were the face of the company. If that made you feel like a hypocrite you grinned and bared it so you could continue to support yourself and your family until you could find something else that would make you happy. I'm retired now. But I've been there, on the treadmill of dead-end jobs, but did it with a smile because good Customer Service is a skill in itself and something to take pride in. And Culver's takes it serious. Which will bring me back every time, not just the food! read more

Great bacon cheese burgers, good Rubens, crinkle-cut fries (and they sell cheese sauce cups!), good shrimp baskets, great shakes (we tried raspberry and vanilla malt) Probably the best chain fast food restaurant in town, especially considering the variety they have. I was a little annoyed with my last visit, though: I spent $28 and wasn't given ketchup. I asked for ketchup, and they drive through guy gave me 1 pack. I asked for more, and he again came back with 1 pack. My previous visit, I was waiting in the parking lot for my food, and they didn't bring ketchup. We used to really enjoy the burgers but now that is not the case! Three times we have been there in the past few weeks and something was messed up every time. First one we ordered large onion rings as a side and got fries instead. Second time my bun was totally stale-did not eat it. Third time, ordered butter burger with the works - got burger with 3 pickle slices- no lettuce, tomatoes or onion! Also order of cheese curds were only yellow cheese and at other Culver's there is a mix of white and yellow! FYI: Caleb-the kitchen help is not processing the orders as presented to them. If you dont know what custard is, you should. Try plain first. The butter burgers are to die for. Best fast food in the area, hands down. I lived near Wisconsin, and I know this stuff. Culver's in PV has designed a safe and effect method of efficiently managing the long line of others out for a Friday night drive through meal. An extra lane with a mobile cashier to handle credit card purchases, numbered spaces to park in while waiting for delivery of the meals, staff in the parking lot to direct traffic, quick order delivery and best of all, friendly and professional staff to help us. My husband learned about Culvers on a recent trip to Colorado. He couldn't stop talking about the frozen custard. There is something very, very wrong at Culver's. They have lot's of staff. They all seem very friendly and hard working. Yet the place is CHAOS. Now, IF the food was great, maybe I could overlook this. But it's not. And I can't. 1 STAR I had great expectations for the ButterBurger. When you read its online profile you think, "Hey! This could work!" Sadly, just like the appealing choices at a dating website, when you finally meet up, it's not all it's cracked up to be. Bluntly, it's overpriced, greasy and does not have a good flavor. It was on par with the Prescott Carl's Junior. One blind date was enough for me. 1 STAR Same goes for the Crunchy Oil Rings (aka onion rings). No taste of onion. Yuck. 1 STAR Custard? 5-STARS!!!! I've had a few of these and they are absolutely fabulous. I haven't tried what I'll call "expanded menu" items like the fish dinner. Maybe they are good? I see some 5 STAR reviews.
