Not at all impressed with our first visit. The poor guy at the register didn't appear to be fully trained, so our order got pretty screwed up, even though I repeated it to him several times and I told him at LEAST four times one of the shakes was mint CHOCOLATE CHIP - we got a plain mint milkshake. My chocolate malt had no malt flavor. Neither of our "bacon deluxe butterburgers" had bacon on them. I didn't get the Ranch dressing he asked me if I wanted, and I said yes please. On top of that, I had a bone chip in my burger and the cheese curds were nothing to write home about either. Give me In 'n Out any time! Just moved to PV 2 months ago. While we looking to move from Calif. to here we ate at Culver's a couple of times and it was spectacular. They were closed for about a week 2 weeks ago and now, tonight we got our food to go....what happened? My double burger which came in a box, was a single burger. I guess I should thank them for making the meat yesterday, it cut down on my wait time. But, it was very dry. And I ordered and paid for a combo, where's my fries? I'm happy my wife got onion rings and felt sorry for me, I got 3 rings. Yay! Hey, I have not lost hope, I'm looking forward to the next time...it's my turn to choose and it will be Del Taco Double Del Burger for sure. If you haven't tried the double Del, you're missing out. I tried Culver's Deluxe burger three times recently. The first time (a double) was really good. Second time (triple) was average. Third time (triple) the patties were burned to a crisp. I am really disappointed in culvers. I am a true blue customer, and yesterday 4/3/2020 I waited in line for over 20 minutes, to be expected no problem with that..but....when I got my order 2 piece cod fish dinner, it was disappointing. I hade about 12 fries, the fish seemed over cooked, tough, and i paid 12.32 for that. Yes we/you are facing some hard times , but why do you let the excellent quality become low. I love Culver's in general, but this location was a little lower quality than most. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but the food was not as good or fresh as other locations. Cheese curds were a little overdone with a slight burnt flavor to them. So while it's still acceptable food, it's not as awesome as the food at other locations. read more

Stopped here for lunch while out in PV. I was very impressed with the entire experience. Ordered the pattymelt and it was one of the best. Fries were fresh and flavorful. I had a cod sandwich the other day and it was so very good! Today I came back to get a fish combo basket. Cost me 11.39 for the two piece meal. I had to get up three times to get more napkins to soak up all the grease. The fish was sitting in a puddle of it on my plate, not to mention the ten napkins I used to drain the filets. It was awful! The slaw and fries were good but not 11.39 good. I tossed the fish out. I was very disappointed, I expected something good after having that wonderful sandwich. read more

We have always been a fan of Culvers and go there quite often. We were there yesterday, and I had the butter burger with fries/drink. I was very disappointed in the burger. The patty was quite small - there was too much bun for the size of the patty. And, the condiments were very skimpy. I'm sad to have to write this poor review, but given that we've had much better at this location in the past, it's warranted. I probably won't go back for some time. read more

They have a Pork Tenderloin that's pretty darn good. How bad can the place be? Their custard is a huge step-up from ice cream. Everything we've had was far superior to the typical McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Carl's Jr. I'd even say they beat In n' Out and they certainly have a much larger selection. About the only "fast food" burger that is better is at Brown Bag Burgers, but they aren't actually a fast food joint. Hope they stick around so I can try other items on the menu. read more

Tasteless food. Grilled chicken sandwich lacked any standout flavor. Unseasoned hamburger had no outstanding taste. More grease than beef flavor. Then there's the fries......no potato flavor, very little crispness, too thick. I has the Atlantic Cod Sandwich with crinkle cut fries. The sandwich was hot and tasty, the fries were hot crispy and fresh. The portion size was generous but not overwhelming. I am not a light eater and like hearty sized portions so I walked away satisfied. The prices are about average for this type of meal in the area. This is the worst culvers I've ever been to. I loved culvers back in the Midwest and was out here on business and decided to stop in. The employees are generally nice but the managers and the woman who owns the franchise (or at least part of it) were extremely rude and incompetent. I'm usually not one to take the time to write a review but they were that rude. I would recommend to just venture out to the culvers in peoria if you're really craving it. The employees are all extremely nice. The majority of them are local high school kids and all seem competent and friendly. read more

I've been here several times and EVERY TIME I've been treated with absolute respect from the staff. My order has always arrived correctly and I've never had any problems. Absolutely horrible and way too expensive! Took almost 15 minutes to get a fish sandwich, paid over $5 for it and it was extremely greasy and not edible. Their food is always hot and fresh and delicious.. My husband substitutes onion rings instead of fries when we get the combo meals.(that way we have both share fries and onion rings) I have tried the Onion rings, French fries, burgers, chicken sandwiches (fried & grilled) , fish, chicken strips, shakes, malts, Sundays, concrete mixers. I want to try more but once you know you like items it is hard to get something else.. Give it a try. read more

I go into Culvers because of the Fish Sandwich. I went in a couple days ago was sitting down to eat my meal and had this kid and mother come up wanting me to buy something. They and others were going around and harrasing the customers - to buy something - apparently associated with schools. I told her I am appauled that you are doing this to the customer . I went to Culver's for two dinners and wasn't very impressed with them. The restaurant wasn't very busy and yet I had to wait 20 minutes to get it. I had the Pot Roast dinner. The meat, mashed potatoes and gravy were alright. The bread was a bit dry and I don't like green beans made with onions. My friend ordered a 3 piece Cod dinner. The Cod was good but the Cole slaw sucked. There's more to this. When I got back to the house my friend opened the meal box only to find a large order of onion rings. When I called Culver's about this, the manager wanted to know if I wanted to come back for the fish dinner or if I wanted them to send me a coupon! She must have been stupid or something. Hello. I order the SnackPak lunches, a choice of 6 or 8 different burgers with fries and a smal drink for under $5. Burgers are complete too; no $1 add on for a slice of cheese. Tough to beat. Restaurant is clean, well staffed, and overal a pretty solid choice for what it is: fast food. read more

As far as fast food burger joints go, I think Culver's is one of the best. The burgers are not to greasy and have great flavor. I enjoyed them in the Detroit metro area and they are just as good here. read more

Great place for fast food that is fresher than the usual. There are lots of menu choices, so come inside if you are not familiar. The kids working there are terrific. I would say 99 percent of the employees are super. They must have a program of having some developmentally disabled kids working too. Those kids are sure not slackers and they are very welcoming. The drive thru service is efficient. You should expect to wait a few minutes because your food is made to order. But wait time has always been pretty short and the lines keep moving. read more

This is our favorite place for burgers now. Can't believe we waited so long to try Culvers. We were In and Out Burger fans and I didn't think any burger could be better than theirs. Absolutely the best burger I have ever eaten is Culvers. The onion rings are also the best ever. Getting our drive thru order completely correct can be a little iffy at times depending on the staff that is working but the food is so good that it is worth it. Also love that they frequently have coupons available for buy one get one free. We love the double deluxe bacon burgers and onion rings so much that we haven't tried anything else on the menu. read more
