Why not can't go wrong usually except for the one near my house which sucks :-( HA!

#61/2022 Another Culver's another franchisee So many locations franchise by so many different ones. This is the same guy that owns the franchise in Frankfort Illinois he only has two. I walked in I was greeted very pleasantly at this one they had a very good staff working here this is a very clean Culver's like most of their menus use not a lot really changes. They are a test market though they did have a couple of different things here though as far as deluxe like for hash browns french fries and a few other things would sort of change the little bit with bacon and sour cream sort of like loaded as a lot of places like to call things. Other than your standard Culver's butter burgers your dinners and everything else. One thing I did try here that surprised it was to root beer it was really really good apparently they make their own it's not made by nobody and it's very tasty there's a little history I'm going to put a couple pictures of them so why it's so good at least to me. I had a regular value basket the deluxe single catch up mustard cheese lettuce tomato. French fries no salt with a cup of cheese for dipping some of their yummy diet root beer. And of course when I got done I had to get a nice scoop of the chocolate straight frozen custard. It's interesting about this one is also they have a lot of different flavors of the day fortunately the month is almost over had I not been so hungry I might have just came in and tried out the Georgia peach number 21 boy that looks like some yummers. But all in all I was very satisfied this is a nice run one good franchisee compared to the crappy one and Homer Glen near my house which is just terrible. And unfortunately the reviews seem to reflect it too so it's not a joke I've gone in about two or three times and every time I've left I have not been satisfied but keep up the good work here.

Great service, even when they are busy. Only problem is sometimes it's too fast and you get a half raw burger.

This is how My sandwich look when I opened it. I'm not sure how this really happens but it did. sad about it. They are usually cool.

I liked the burgers, but I think the fries need a little bit of work. The staff was friendly and ice cream is to die for.

Today we ordered a maple bacon milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, 1/4 pound grilled cheese burger on toast, 1/2 pound New Orleans burger and a shareable basket of parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the positives, the shakes were well made and not overwhelmingly sweet and we liked that a lot. My husband's 1/2 pound burger seemed a little small and my grilled cheese burger said it would be on Texas toast but it seemed like it was sourdough bread and not really thick cut like Texas toast should be. I was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the fries online looked long and thick cut, the basket of fries we got didn't look like that at all and lacked Parmesan cheese. The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.

We also tried the cauliflower wings in both Buffalo Garlic and Honey BBQ, and they were quite good with great flavor. The Buffalo Parmesan fries had delicious flavor, though they would have been even better a bit crispier. I really appreciate that they offer several vegan options. If you like Beyond burgers, you'll have plenty to choose from here. Between the soups, salads, wings, and gourmet burgers, there's truly something for everyone. Already looking forward to going back--those desserts (chocolate cake, carrot cake, and chocolate shakes) look absolutely scrumptious!

Their menu seems quite extensive, so I'm interested to try other items. I ordered the Happy Jalapeño burger, cheese curds, Garlic Parmesan fries, Mac n cheese bites, Italian beef egg rolls, and my husband had the Pickler burger. We like to order big when trying a new place! My favorite thing was the garlic parm fries - absolutely delicious! The burger was quite tasty as well. Definitely seemed like real beef (when compared to other cheap fast food joints). I liked the Italian Beef egg rolls: they were crunchy and much more like a traditional Chinese egg roll than I expected. A little spicy with the giardianiera. The Mac n cheese bites were meh and the cheese curds weren't all that great either. They both might have been tastier if they were still hot by the time I got them home. I would definitely try this place again. I heard the cashier mention a rewards program. Their prices are comparable to Culvers or Five Guys, but seems worth it.

We were pleasantly surprised to find out apps were 25% off- which meant we had to try the pretzel. I think it may have been the biggest pretzel I've ever seen in my life. The outside was a melt-in-your-mouth fried texture with the inside being soft and doughy in the best way. Paired with any of the 3 dips, it made for the most delicious appetizer that essentially filled up our entire table itself. Special shoutout to the arse sauce & their honey mustard- sooo good. The table also tried the buffalo chicken wrap (YUM), caprese sandwich (good!), and penne alla vodka (somewhat mid but better as leftovers). Sweet potato tots were the perfect side. This was my third time here and they honestly never disappoint. Service & food always hit. My go to spot when visiting Plainfield!

Luckily, this visit was much better We arrived right after they opened on Saturday afternoon. The location was easy to find and there was a decent amount of parking. For lunch, we shared the 1.5lb pretzel which was more than enough for our group of 5 1/2 people. As for my burger, I got their Blue Cheeseburger. Overall, it was a decent burger. Good flavor, cooked a nice medium rare which I wanted. Our waitress was nice and friendly and the price was reasonable for 2 adults and 1 kid

LESS FOR MORE This…read moreHalal chicken spot charges an awful lot for their food. The Port of Peri Peri has a storefront next to a Dunkin on Weber Rd in Bolingbrook, about half a mile north of I-55.  We tried them once before (in 2020) hoping for a better experience five years later, unfortunately that wasn't the case. My biggest hangup is that everything is just too expensive.  A ¼ chicken is $10 and comes with no sides, which are $4.50 each.  Compare this to Nando's where the same ¼ chicken is $7.75 and sides are just $3. The chicken & rice bowl ($18) was my wife's pick and she enjoyed it, however I don't think it was a good value.  Twenty bucks for what amounts to 4 chicken tenders over rice?  C'mon. I will say that their stuff is legitimately SPICY.  Even the 'mild' has plenty of punch, nevermind the 'hot' which sent me into a coughing fit.  Definitely steer towards the lower end of their heat scale. Their pop machine was out-of-order (and it appeared to have been for some time).  Dining room chairs weren't the comfiest, and the random chandelier - although elegant - doesn't in with fit the ambiance. Employees were nice. I used a coupon mailer for $5 off, which made the eyebrow-raising cost a bit more tolerable.  Without one, I probably wouldn't return. * TL;DR * I'm not a fan of overpaying, be it clothes, cars, or chicken(s). An a la carte sandwich here is a whopping $14!  (only $9 at Nando's) Also of note, these Peri fries don't come with a special mayo or anything for dipping.  Perhaps corn is a better choice? The best thing I can say about Port of Peri Peri is that they don't play around with spices.  When they say something is hot, they mean it.  Other than that, not too many redeeming qualities here.
