The restaurant is typically pretty clean and well stocked. We placed an online order for curbside pickup scheduled for 8:30. We arrived around 8:25 and waited until about 8:50 before I finally went inside, only to find that the food had been sitting there ready the whole time. That was a little frustrating, but they were busy so it wasn't a huge deal. For food, I got the cod sandwich with french fries, which was really good--crispy on the outside and juicy inside. My mom got the ButterBurger with cheese and onion rings. She enjoyed the burger, but the onion rings definitely could have been crispier. We shared the cheese curds, which are always good, though they also could have been a bit crispier this time. We also tried the cheese dip, which was just okay and probably not something we would order again. The broccoli cheese soup was also fine, but not something I would get again. Culver's is always good 100% of the time. The veggies are crisp. The food is hot when necessary, and chilled when necessary. The food in the bag is organized and not a mess but everything is bagged with care. The service is some of the best to be had. The accuracy of the orders is never double checking the order, never having to be stressed if the food is what we ordered or if its all in the bag. It just always is. The employees work like crazy and from what I have researched about employment sigma isn't as Culver like with part time positions being the only options, I think this place needs to offer more to the staff who are amazing. The facility is clean, bright, the soda machine accessible appreciated by all users (some places don't offer self serve soft drinks) . The vouchers for prizes and for custard is so fun. I love the mint ice cream. Just so smooth not frothy or chalky but the texture is nice. There are also allergen friendly options such as a gluten free bun and gluten free burger patties, so great for options. Well now I am very hungry. Good fantastic fast food. read more

Reasonably quick and inexpensive My wife and I stopped in for a reasonably quick and inexpensive dinner. We decided we would split a Strawberry Fields salad and each got a sandwich, for me this was their Grilled Reuben Melt. The salad was ok, a good size for one person and it did have strawberries. I thought the chicken on top could have been better, I've gotten used to chicken salads from a competing fast food chain and Culver's comes in second. As for my Reuben, now there was a really good sandwich. For me the corned beef tasted great and the sandwich had a buttery influence. I didn't pay much attention to any sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing, just focusing on enjoying the meat and bread parts. The setup is you order and pay at the counter and they give you a number to place on your table. A food runner brings you your food when it's ready. That all went well. I have been to this location three times now. It is out of the way, but not far from the mall. The restaurant is large and nice. I was expecting to be just a small type of fast food joint,but this looks like a full-blown restaurant. Anyhow, staff was very helpful and knowledgeable all the times I came here. They were knowledgeable about gluten allergies and cross-contamination. They flagged my order for fries. I came here for the fries because I have heard they are so great. Not a lot of places have a dedicated fryer for fries, much less serve crinkle fries! They really are great! I can't tell if they are prefrozen, but I am guessing maybe. Either way, their fries are some of the best I have had and definitely the best crinkle fries I have had. I can't wait to try more items on the menu that are gluten-free. We used to love this Culver's, however the other night when I went there at approximately 9:15 to order two vanilla shakes. I was at the window paying and watched a young girl scoop out the shakes from a funky looking white bucket, and pour them into the shake containers. She handed them to me and I looked at them and they were very watery and I told her they were way too watery. She then told me she was gonna put some ice cream in them to thicken them up, but when she came back, they were the same and there were little black pieces floating in them. She told me that the shake machine was being closed down because they closed at 10 and that's what she had available. I was uncomfortable about us drinking these so I told her I would not drink them and she got the manager, Toni who voided my Apple Pay purchase. Culvers in Sarasota has a promotion with the Orioles during spring training--if O's score 7 or more runs in a game then anyone who attended the game can go to Culvers the next day and show his or her ticket and get a free small concrete mixer--just one problem...Culver's has made it very difficult to actually collect the free drink--one has to order online for each mixer, providing a lot of personal information to receive it, and most troubling of all, must spend at least $1 to collect the drink. Perhaps Culver's needs a lesson in what "free" means...seems like a scam to me! Has anyone else had a problem with getting a free concrete mixer? read more

Wish I could give this location a ZERO. Burnt/dirty grill-tasting burgers, usually the food is cold - not even hot enough to melt cheese, missing items, and terrible management. They absolutely do not care if you had a good experience or not, don't even try to complain - it's always your fault. This particular location on Cattleman Road is the worst in the area, the management including the owner (who is a very angry person) does not care about the quality of the food, getting the order right, or customers. I would avoid this location. It is a shame that Culver's allows this franchise to operate like this. Hopefully, someone from corporate would visit this location and experience how bad this location is and do something about it. It's killing the brand one customer at a time. I became a vegetarian for health reasons two years ago. I had a big craving for a juicy hot fresh burger. I brag about how wonderful Culver's is and have thought it one of the best burgers, until today. I drove out of my way to eat a burger for the first time in years! Ordered a Sourdough Melt. Arrived home, took a bite and it was very disappointing!!! The one side was completely burnt! Inedible! Had to remove half of the bread and double over the dry patty that also tasted like they did not season it. I took another bite and fed the rest to my dogs. This was a pretty good experience overall. Came here after joining the E-club and redeeming a buy one value meal, get one value meal. The young guy at the register was very accommodating as it was our first time there and had some questions about the menu. We definitely took our time ordering to make sure we got it right! I started with the double butter burger patty, which is obviously delicious. What made it special was the double patty. There are a ton of burger places out there so it was nice having bit of difference. Side of the fried onion rings were very tasty as well. I was a little surprised though that there weren't that many onion rings as compared to the French fries I saw my neighbors get in their order. For me, the noticeable drop in star value is two-fold: the wait for the food (not terribly long) but as good Yelpers tend to do, we snap pics! Apparently that is a no-go at this location. After trying diligently to get a photo of the pretty cool custard machine, we were asked to not take any more photos. Weird, right? I thought so. For me this took away from the fun, family atmosphere they are going for, and was rather off putting. My advice to the proprietor is to put a sign up saying please no photos since this is a public location and it would be nice to know. Food is pretty good and the atmosphere is overall decent. The chicken sandwich is freshly made and juicy. Not over breaded and served on a firm roll to handle the dressings, like leafy lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo and the cheese, which is extra. The fries are never greasy which I really appreciate. My only negative is that when I have ordered the burgers, they tend to be greasy, so I tend to stay away from them. Kate handles the drive-thru at lunch time and she is cheerful and helpful. Ask for the daily specials and be in the loop. Kate always double checks the order, greets me when I arrive at the window, and makes sure I have my extra napkins and any sauce I may need for my meal. Even at lunch time, you do wait a little bit but you are never more than 5 minutes even when you are the fourth car down. The orders all of a sudden come on out with a smile and have a nice day. It's great that they repeat the order when they hand over your bag so no need to doubt that you really got the food you ordered. I appreciate the customer service and the added attention. The fries are okay, but my preference is the onion rings. Also lightly breaded and these were not greasy. For a small upgrade, pick a milkshake. I love the chocolate, so thick and so good. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Orders are taken correctly and coupons are always welcomed. My food came out pretty quick, which I totally appreciated it. The condiments are fully stocked and quite honestly very clean for a fast food place. Parking was not an issue as they have a private parking lot. The bathrooms are clean and fully stocked. I drove thru and ordered, got to my meeting and had someone elses order w items I don't like. 2 days later went back thru, asked for the manager & told my complaint. Never got an apology! Visited Culver's 11/14/19 .Have been to this location several times and it has been ok. Visit last night was completely different. Ordered a double hamburger with everything. Burger was over cooked and was not the best we have ever had. Also ordered a cod sandwich meal.Found a table had to clean it off a little but that was ok, my cod arrived told the young lady thank you and she answered yeah. Looked at the sandwich and it did not have any fish on it. Took it back and after a few minutes it was returned to me no tarter sauce but I was tired of them already so I just chalked it up to a bad experience.
