Good old Culver's! My first job as a kid in Florida. Love to see one here, one of the closest ones to my current home in Vegas. My burgers always turn out great. My husband said his came out salty the first time so he hasn't gotten a burger from this location since then. The new spicy chicken sandwich is great. Curds and onion rings are always a well worth it upgrade for a basket side. The devils food cake flavor of the day was absolutely amazing. Love that the kids meals come with a scoop of custard. Their kids chocolate milk is a little chalky but my daughter loves it anyway. Every time we have been here it's always crazy busy. Happy to see them thriving.

Went through the drive thru. Guy taking our order was super friendly with great energy. You order via drive thru, move up to stand by and they walk the food up to your window. Very friendly service. Ordered a bunch of deluxe butter burgers, Wisconsin cheese curds, fries. Sauces are $.35 each. Upgraded fries and cheese curds to family size. Was going to drive thru, pick up and eat on the road but ended up parking and enjoyed the meal slowly before taking off again. Had high expectations but wasn't wowed. The fries were in a plastic box so they were semi soggy instead of crunchy. The cheese curds were ok, very batter-y if you're into a fried options mood. The burger was flat soft and simple. It did the job, it was ok.

First time trying Culver's and it does in fact live up to the hype. The butter burger was so flavorful and balanced with all the components in it. You really can taste the quality in the ingredients. The patty is smashed and has just the right amount of crust. It could've been cooked a bit longer but it was still tasty. Their spicy chicken sandwich was actually spicy! The vibrant crusty coating was a telling giveaway that this would be good. The kick really amped up the whole sandwich. Lastly, the fish. Everyone raves about this and I see why. It's so flaky and not too heavy on the batter. I dressed mine with the fresh lemon wedges provided and malt vinegar. A sprinkle of salt or a kind of seasoning would have made this better. Nonetheless, their fish is really good. I also had to try their beloved cheese curds which I was a fan of! They are on the saltier side and the coating reminds me of an Italian seasoning breading for mozzarella sticks.

This was my 1st time trying Culver's and I had heard wonderful things about their fish sandwich and while on a day trip from Vegas decided to stop in and try it. We were greeted by the sweetest worker (I believe her name is Caryn) she was so patient with explaining things and no attitude whatsoever which is appreciated these days. More workers could learn from her. My choice was a fish sandwich, I upgraded to chili cheese fries and a lemon ice (which was very sour) with peaches and mango (it was quite refreshing though) the fish sandwich was fresh and crunchy and my only complaint was it needed sauce, there was absolutely no tarter sauce on my sandwich so, if I eat here again, I will add a side to my order. My friend's daughter had a cheeseburger and said it was nothing special, just average. My friend ordered the fish plate which she said was delicious and fish was flaky and cooked perfectly, since we ordered everything to go, I only got menu photos. My overall experience was good, although it was weird to see the looks people were giving since my friend and her daughter are Hawaiian and their skin a dark golden brown, it was like they'd never seen a person of color or something, from what I was told it's normal in Utah I guess...just weird to me

We had to stop by Culver's on our way back from Utah back to Vegas. You have to get the butter burger and cheese curds if you never had them. It's more of a smash burger and the cheese curds must be dipped in fry sauce. The food vane out hot and fresh. Prices are very affordable and it reminds me of the Midwest. Our cashier Ty was so friendly and made sure we got the sweet tea. The inside still has that home like feel and not the sterile minimalist style many fast food restaurants have adopted. They even had real flowers at the table! The consistency of food quality, speed and warmth is why I go to Culver's whenever I get the chance.

Friendly service as always! Got small custard again (vanilla custard mixer w butter cake) and bought a pint of the flavor of the day for $4.79 (chocolate caramel twist), which is a pretty good value. It's always really crowded here (drive thru and at the counter). The food smell is really strong when you walk in. I don't know if I would ever eat the food here though. But I sure love Utah. Everyone is so nice

I live in Las Vegas and was driving through St. George on my way to a wedding in northern Utah last Thursday night. Several people at work told me to try Culvers, as my goal was to get a yummy burger and fries and fry sauce. There is no fry sauce in LV, so I looked forward to going all week. As I was driving, I was talking to my sister. I told her how excited I was to eat there. She said, "UMM.. Last time I ate at a Culvers, I was not happy. The bun and burger was cold, and the cheese was not melted. You better tell them you want your burger HOT, not one that was sitting in the warmer." I forgot to tell them anything because I was so shocked by my encounter with the girl who "Helped" me. Also, why should you have to tell a burger establishment you want you burger hot. Should that not be a given??!! Katelyn needs to be retrained, in my humble opinion. I walked up to her and said, "HI! This is my first time here, and I'm really looking forward to it. What can you recommend?" Katelyn did not say hi back, just stared at me, and after a few seconds, said. "I don't know. I don't eat here." WOW. I was not expecting that. She was VERY hard to hear and spoke very quietly and mumbled and I had to ask her to repeat every question I asked her. I was not impressed with the "Service" I got from Katelyn. My burger was cold, my bun was cold, and the cheese was not melted. The fried cheese curds, which I had never tasted before were also cold and greasy. I ate 2, and 3 bites of my burger and I was done. I was hoping my butterfinger shake would at least be tasty, but there was hardly any candy bar in it. I had to hunt to find the pieces. I will not be eating at Culvers again. I was finally able to get a DELICIOUS burger and fries and fry sauce at CROWN BURGER in SLC. If I hear that Culvers has improved, I might give them another try, but for now I am out.

Flavor of the day was Cashew Carmel! It doesn't look like it but it was loaded with giant cashews and carmel.
    Amy E.

The flavor of the day concrete , Cashew Carmel or it might have been Carmel Cashew. Either way it had big fat cashews in it. I am giving 3 stars because my order was wrong. I ordered a Crispy Chicken and got a grilled chicken. Which was good, but it had ketchup and mustard on it and not the regular mayo-mustard. I believe I got someone's customer order. We went through the drive thru and many miles away before I discovered this. Probably because I was too busy enjoying my ice cream, which they do tell you to eat first, so I was only following the rules.

    Randy A.

Did a day trip from Vegas to St. George, been wanting to try Culvers to see the hype about it. Hands done the best smash burger I have had. Burger is not too greasy, onion rings not heavily batter. Wish Culver's would open in California, but will definitely return here.

Our main dishes took over 30 minutes to arrive, and it felt like they only came out because we actively hunted down staff to ask. On top of that, our Caesar salad was missing. After waiting another 15 minutes for the salad, we finally caught a server and explicitly asked to cancel it. 10 minutes after canceling, the server brought the salad out anyway, saying it was on the house. By that point, we were already finished with our meal and turned it away. Kitchens get busy, and guests understand that. But setting expectations upfront ("Hey folks, the kitchen is backed up about 30 minutes today") or proactively offering a small courtesy early on would have changed everything. Leaving guests in the dark, ignoring a cancellation, and then offering an unwanted item at the very end isn't good service. I'm normally a generous tipper, and frankly, a tip wasn't deserved here at all. I left $2.00 strictly out of habit, but the front-of-house service severely let down what was otherwise a great meal from the kitchen.

45+ Minutes in 100° Heat, Passed Over Repeatedly, Then Offered a High-Top for a Toddler…read more Our experience at George's today was so bizarre, frustrating, and poorly handled that I am still trying to understand how a restaurant could treat a family this way. We arrived as a family of three--two adults and our toddler--and were told the wait would be approximately 15-20 minutes. We were added to the waitlist and waited outside in nearly 100-degree heat. While we waited, several parties arrived AFTER us. We know this with certainty because we watched them walk in, add their names to the list, come back outside, and even chatted with some of them while we all waited. Then, one by one, those parties were called inside and seated before us. After the last of them was seated, I finally went inside and asked the front-of-house employee in the pink shirt whether we were even still on the list. She assured me we were and said we were "next." We then waited approximately another 10 minutes. By the time someone finally came for us, our supposed 15-20 minute wait had become 45-46 minutes. And somehow, that wasn't even the most baffling part. We were walked through the restaurant, past multiple empty, standard-height tables, and taken down toward the bar. We passed yet another regular four-seat table there. And then we were offered a high-top table. For two adults and a TODDLER. Our toddler had physically walked into the restaurant with us when we originally put our names on the list. There was never any ambiguity that we had a small child with us. No booster or appropriate toddler seating was offered at this high-top, either. We obviously declined. Expecting a toddler to safely sit at a high-top is not merely impractical--it creates a completely unnecessary fall and safety risk. We were then informed that if we wanted a normal table, we would need to wait another 10-15 minutes. At that point, I was genuinely stunned. We had already waited more than twice the time we were quoted. We had watched parties who arrived after us get seated ahead of us. None of those parties, to our knowledge, were forced to choose between an inappropriate high-top and an additional wait. And we could literally see empty standard tables. When we specifically asked about the empty four-person table near the bar, we were told we couldn't sit there because that server was having a very busy day and it would be another 15-20 minutes before she could take us. So let me understand this: your restaurant allowed a family with a toddler to wait outside in extreme heat for more than 45 minutes, repeatedly seated later-arriving parties ahead of them, finally brought them inside only to offer seating obviously unsuitable for a small child, and then--while empty standard tables were plainly visible--essentially told them to go wait some more? At what point does someone on staff recognize that something has gone badly wrong and attempt to fix it? There was no meaningful apology. No sense of urgency. No empathy. No attempt to problem-solve. No acknowledgment that the original 15-20 minute estimate had turned into 45+ minutes while other guests were seated ahead of us. What makes this experience even more uncomfortable is that we are a mixed-race couple. I cannot say why we were treated differently, and I am not going to make an accusation I cannot prove. But after watching multiple parties who arrived after us be seated before us, only to then be offered uniquely inappropriate seating for our family, I am left questioning why our family was treated differently. Was there some legitimate explanation that was never communicated to us? Was this simply extraordinary incompetence and poor management of the waitlist? Or was there another reason? I genuinely don't know. But the fact that your staff's handling of the situation left us even having to ask that question should concern management. We were patient. We were polite. We waited far longer than we were told we would. We stood outside with our toddler in nearly 100-degree weather and gave your staff every opportunity to make the situation right. Instead, we were met with indifference and a level of front-of-house incompetence that was astonishing. Restaurants get busy. Servers get overwhelmed. Wait estimates can be wrong. None of that explains why multiple parties arriving after us were seated first, why no one noticed or corrected it, why a family visibly accompanied by a toddler was offered a high-top, or why--after more than 45 minutes--no one seemed remotely interested in finding a reasonable solution. We ultimately didn't need special treatment. We expected competent treatment. We didn't receive it. Management should seriously review how the waitlist was handled today and speak with the front-of-house staff involved, because this was one of the most poorly managed and deeply uncomfortable restaurant experiences our family has had.
