Food was ok. The service however was not. Came in minutes before closing time and was told not to dine in and eat even though there were several customers already eating. Also, I asked for a cup of water and guess what.. they did not serve me the cup of water. Everyone knows a cup of water should never be refused to anyone regardless of anything. The manager, Anita, was exceptional at this location: she was very outgoing and friendly among all customers! This is literally my favorite restaurant to pick up catering food. When you check in, and they're like x minutes till fulfillment. I've never had any trouble from staff. If anything they go above and beyond management even carried food to my car!! Everything was clean, especially when I was able to help myself to refreshments of water. read more

The grilled burger is good. It's hard not to be a fan of grilled hamburgers. I was able to enjoy with my pretty little daughter who is a big fan of the grilled chicken salad. She says she always has it door dashed. So that must mean it's pretty good. I don't go here often, or, really very much. The employees were careful about social distancing regardless of the fact that the customers were snotty about it. St.George behavior about simply wearing a mask, is odd. read more

I deserved a break today, especially after driving 300+ miles. The Habit has always been a great pit stop for me. The only problem is that most of their locations are in California and are very crowded. On the way back home to California from Salt Lake City, it was nice to know that The Habit had a restaurant in St. George that I could stop at. This Habit is located in a shopping center. It was the perfect place to stretch my legs. We arrived a little after 1PM and had no problem finding a clean and open table. Burgers are consistent at The Habit. I like it! If I'm going for a burger from a fast food I normally will go to In and Out because they are always consistent and fresh. I decided to try Habit because it was close. The hamburger was ok but not really anything special. The fries were limp. But the real disappointment was being asked to tip when I pulled through the drive up window. Habit needs to pay their employees better. I have no problem with tipping when I receive great service. Handing me a bag through a window is not that. read more

This is my go to lunch spot. I don't get too fancy with it and usually just get the Charburger. It's $3.70 and very tasty. I love cheap eats. I use the app to order ahead and get extra lettuce, pickles, and tomato. Then add ketchup and mustard. None of that ups the cost. I've tried some of the other burgers, and they're fun but usually don't justify the cost when the original is good and cheap. I also like that they have outdoor seating. In the winter they have heaters and in the summer they have misters. That's where I always sit. read more

I admit I'm a bit of a hamburger snob and I've been to a couple of The Habit locations in Orange County and now here in St. George where I retired to 5 years ago. My experience at both locations: Lake Forest, CA - mediocre at best. St. George, UT - not as good as above. Ordered Medium Rare, got an overcooked hockey puck with a 'Medium Rare' labeled wood skewer in it. Bacon was so overcooked it was like eating strips of plastic. I went back to the counter and complained, next set was better. I'd say The Habit burger is about the same as the one Chili's serves now. Both are dry, overcooked no matter how you order it and the fries are on the greasy tasting, sometimes frozen tasting, side. (Chili's used to serve a good burger 10+ years ago.) IMHO the best burgers in town are at Texas Roadhouse (2nd place- usually not as good when they are busy) and Rib & Chop House (1st place) over by the convention center (if you order with bacon ask for the chopped kind and you'll get more than if you ordered bacon strips) Generous size patty, delicious bun, tasty cheddar cheese, and the best fries in town. Rated #1 restaurant by my entire family living in the area and the ones visiting from out of state. Applebee's is better than The Habit and gets 3rd Place for the best burger and fries in town. Surprised me too! Cliffside Restaurant gets 4th place, the best views in town. Other members of my family love the tomato soup and other dishes there. Other good burgers in town. Painted Pony, George's Corner Restaurant (live entertainment), Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is better than The Habit, although the patties are bigger at The Habit. Freddy's is a little on the expensive side for what you get. Five Guys is better than The Habit, but too expensive for what you get. Culver's is better. Black Bear is better than The Habit by a little. Cracker Barrel, is on level with The Habit. read more

My husband and I were recently in the area on a road trip and stopped at Habit Burger for lunch. I had the Cobb salad and it was absolutely amazing. Bad experience. I called in my order last late afternoon about 5pm MST. A female answered. Short on the phone, grumpy. I ordered the Cubano Char as it is on their menu as a seasonal feature. She said their store doesn't carry that. So we got the seasonal feature chargrilled peach salad, and 2 char burgers and a large fries. She kept cutting me off on the phone, being rude, she obviously hates her job. Each thing I ordered (except for the fries) I told her no onions. Then at the end, I told her again that all items should have no onions. All 3 of us cannot eat onions. I get there and the food is sitting out where anyone can get to it, and not being warmed. Obviously for the salad no problem, but a big problem for burgers and fries. I get home with the order and the salad has onions! Also, it only has 3 very tiny pieces of a slice of a peach. Mainly lettuce. Rip off! I get on my phone to call to complain about the entire thing and there is no number, it says if you have a complaint to fill out a form on the website and they will get back to you. Then today I get another email from them and it says "please tell us more about your experience". I typed it all in the website form! this is just bad business. Will see if they ever cal. Oh! one more thing, when you hit the "reply" button on their email, it does NOT auto fill their email address. Never seen this before but apparently they are trying to avoid truly helping. read more

Given all the amazing reviews I was actually excited that this was going to be a top notch burger. I don't know if we caught them on an off day, but as far as burgers go it is average and I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. When we arrived the parking lot was super crazy due to the Click-fil-a next door. After we got in the line moved ok, the person taking our order was pleasant and we were able to get a table despite Covid seating limitations. They did have some really good unique fruit juices which were the highlight to me. We all ordered burgers with a mix of fries and onion rights. The fry orders were large enough for two people and the o-rings were average size and again tasted ok, not amazing. I have visited four different burger places so far while in the Saint George area and this is third best burger. read more

We were pretty excited to come eat here after hearing it was good. Very excited to try the teriyaki burger with grilled pineapple. We requested it with no tomato, pickles or mayo. When it came out, it had pickles and mayo on it and the pineapple was about the size of a quarter, not a nice big slice as advertised. So we just asked to have it made the way it was ordered and we watched them take the burger back, argue about what was wrong with it, scrape off the toppings we asked not to have on it and bring it right back to the table.
