This used to be our go-to location, but the last couple of visits have been sub-par. Burger was bleeding ketchup, overdone, and paper thin. Pop mixtures were off. Root beer was all foam and Diet Coke was gross. The lack of cars, both parked and in the drive thru, and the lack of a line near dinner time should have been a red flag. I haven't eaten here since the time I got food for my sister and I. I feel so bad for her, she took a few bites of a chicken sandwich and told me it wasn't tasting right. I open it up, and oh gosh, even thinking about it I want to throw up. I WISH I took a picture. It was a big purple pinkish piece of meat, covered in thin breadcrumbs-- it looked like it had veins all over it. I'm not sure what it was. I felt horrible because I know she was disgusted. Ever since that, I haven't came back. I can't believe they serve this stuff. Not to mention, I had to wait almost half an hour for it. Pretty good burger place. Kinda reminds me of a smash burger taste. The crinkle cut fries were hot and crispy. Its solid but I would not say spectacular. Nonetheless, I would eat here again. It's a solid offering. This one is right by Meijer and there is plenty of parking. read more

The food is usually good when it's made right but have had multiples times now where the sandwich I order is not correct or the burger will have stuff I asked not to be on it. Sometimes they won't look at the order and will just make it without the customizations I ordered. Also they drench the chicken sandwich in mayo. read more

Went to Culvers for the very first time yesterday. After looking at the large menu sign, and figuring out what I wanted, I ordered. Wish there was a simpler menu to work with, other than having to piece your meal together. I got the single hamburger with bacon, small fries and a medium drink, all for $10.17. I came in at 9pm after work and order a double cheeseburger without a bun because I'm gluten free and in a basket with fries and a cement mixer, so I waiting for my food I got my cement mixer I found a inch of plastic in my cement mixer I told somebody and everybody started laughing about it I told them thank goodness I didn't choke on it, it would be a different story. And than I said give another cement mixer they did, I got my food and left the ride home I ate some of the fries they were under cook, and the burger was ok but I lost my appetite. Ordered the 3pc Cod dinner - Overcooked to the max with most of the batter missing. It is so over cooked, you can see through the cod separation Cheese Curds - Perfect What is even worse, getting home to find out this when ready to eat. Now, it is drive back to get the order record right. Seemingly, I can not trust the quality coming out. I didn't think we needed to check the order before pulling off from the drive-through, but clearly, not the case. The order was taken back and redone, the correct way. The original order is not what is expected. The first time here was awesome. The food looked like the commercial. I tried Culver's for the first time today. The burger was really good for the price. I just want to mention, do not come here because they have a drive thru thinking that you are going to get a fast food experience. Pretty much every car is asked to pull up and wait on their order and that is because every thing is prepared fresh. This is not a problem at all, I just wish that I knew ahead of time, because I stopped here thinking that I would be in and out, however it took about 15 minutes from the time I placed my order for me to receive my food, and I only ordered one burger. However once I got the burger I was very happy. It tasted way better than anything you would get at a Burger King, Wendy's, Or McDonalds. The Beef actually tastes like beef. It was a little well done for my preference - but still a much better burger than you would get from those other places I mentioned, and for roughly the same price! The only reason I knocked off a star is because the ordering process was weird. I ordered a double butter burger with cheese, which was listed on the menu as $6.19. The woman asked me if I wanted everything on it, and I said yes. I was then charged an "everything" upcharge of .30 cents. I was really confused??? So if I order the burger with everything on it, I have to pay extra? What should I have replied with to have just been charged the price listed on the menu. I'm not really upset about the extra .30 cents, but why not just list the burger at $6.49 if that's what you have to pay to have everything that comes on it? Really weird. read more

This message is for the owner of this location: CHARLES PAISLEY I ordered 9 meals and two salads costing $106.63. This was for an occasion for my daughters. We got to the venue and my daughter was missing her burger, but had her fries. I immediately called Culver's and the manager answered and said that the burger was there. I told him there was no reason to not be truthful so he said he there was no burger left over there and that it was in the bag, basically calling me a liar. So at 9:15:17 PM I thought I'd go get food for my husband and also ask about the missing burger because I had paid for it and my daughter was still hungry. There was a gentleman at the drive thru window named Michael, he was so respectful and when I told him about the missing burger, he said they'll make sure it's in the bag with my husband's order. I waited for my order and there was no burger. The girl called the manager, and he came out livid and scared my kids. He said "you're not getting anything and if you want that burger you better pay for it." I asked his name and he said Miguel, I asked for a last name he screamed you don't need to know. And walked away calling me a stealer. This horrible person does not deserve the position of a manager because he stains the Culver name. How dare you call me a stealerr. I'm officially done with Culver's. They have gone the way of every other fast food place. They used to be amazing. Great service, excellent food, definitely a cut above places like McDonalds. Now, it takes almost a half and hour to get through the drive thru with no more than 2 cars ahead. The food if it's actually the correct order is sub par. My burger today was partially unwrapped so half of it was stone cold. No napkins in the bag etc. But the kicker was handing over coupons that didn't expire until May 15 and being told "Sorry, my manager says we don't take paper coupons anymore". Well, than why the #/&/@ are you mailing them to me? We used to go to your location at least 3 times a month but we won't be coming back any time soon. read more

Ordered drinks, never received them, and yes they were listed on the receipt. Tamaji(supposedly a manager) or however it is spelled claim that they couldnt give out phone numbers for store manager or district manager. manager also claimed that they couldnt give out a refund over the phone for an online order. I would like to start by saying I love Culver's . Even if a mistake was made, they went out of their way to fix it. That being said, this was a bad experience all the way around. My food took what seemed forever ...(I finished my drink) when it finally came it wasn't what I ordered. I caught the girl, told her my order wasn't correct. Also I may add that the food was cold, fries barely Luke warm. She apologized and said they would make a new one. But, they didn't, it came right back, still cold with everything slapped together. Went to this culvers tonight with my family. We ate inside. As we where ordering, I told the counter person I wanted onion rings with my meal. She asked me what so I told her again onion rings with my meal. We get to our table wait for our food and I had fries with my meal, not onion rings. When I addressed this with the worker and manager they both told me that it would be an upcharge for the onion rings. They wanted me to pay for their mistake. Then they proceed to argue with me when I asked them why I should pay for an item I ordered and didn't get. The lack of customer service at this Culvers is very much lacking. I can't believe the Sympathy and compassion from the employees. I went through the drive to get me, my spouse and my dog some food on her last day. They person taking my order could obviously notice I was very upset. I told her my dog is on her last day and ordered her an ice cream. I got to the window and the manager along with the person who took my order gave me there deepest condolences and treated my dog to the largest custard she has ever had. There are few times in my life when I am truly and irreversibly happy. Eating a crispy chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce in the parking lot of Culver's vibing to my music is one of those times. If you have not had their crispy chicken Sammy with bbq sauce, you are MISSING OUT OMGGGGG it's legit the best. I'm actually tearing up while I write this. Soooo yummy. The staff really added to my happiness today. The nice lady who was working the cashier was sooooo beautiful and genuine. I think I'm in love with her not even joking. We love Culver's, but not this Sterling Heights location. First, their employees are cold and unfriendly. Also,their portions are skimpy compared to other Culver's. They are so cheap, they even charge you 20 cents extra for a small slice of tomato on your sandwich, which other Culver stores do not do. I have had many many issues with this store. But, most recently made me decide I am done here. My wife daughter and I pulled through the drive through a little after 8. They said one second, then shortly after go ahead with my order, in a rude fashion. I asked for one minute please, she said what can i get you in a rude way and i repeated myself. The order taker was very rude and curt the entire order, the gist is they were out of smoothies and forgot my bacon, so I went inside to wait more, something this location excels at. While waiting the whole restaurant staff of which there were so many i was shocked was just mostly standing around shooting the breeze. I saw the person who was making my food touch their dirty mask and then my food, like the bun ext and then wrap it and hand it to the cashier. When i asked to talk to a manager with the intent to ask the, to remake it a third time i was shocked when the manager was the person who violated the health code in this day and age, I asked for aa refund. He was not apologetic and treated it as no big deal. The gm was contacted and said she would talk with the staff but seemed non caring of me wasting 37 minutes of my life and still not getting any food, corporate was the same. the health department will be contacted. read more

This is an edit to my july review. I still love the food but won't be giving them my business again. I understand every business is having a difficult time, finding and keeping employees and I take that into consideration when I write a review. The last 3 times we have got an order from this location has been awful. Food is good, service is awful. The first time when we got our order home, it was wrong. Ordered 2 singles and got 2 doubles. We don't want doubles. Second time again ordered 2 singles, got that right but they looked like someone had thrown them together and then threw them in the bag. The burgers were barely on the buns. Very disappointed. Last night was the worst. Again, ordered 2 singles, got 2 doubles. My hubs doesn't even notice this when he is paying. Onion rings burned.
