I tried the pretzel burger and cheese curds. The cheese curds were not that good. There was too much breading and they were not hot. There was too much going on with the burger. Two different types of cheese, bacon, red onion and bistro sauce. The sauce reminds me of zesty dipping sauce that is typically served with onion rings. The food is also over priced. I paid over $12 for my meal! It's an automatic 3 stars for me since they have Pepsi products! I will never understand why they pull everyone forward and bring your food to your vs the traditional drive thru window. read more

We must have driven past the one on Nebraska Ave and the Brandon location hundreds of times before we decided to check them out. Amazing food and great service. Since it was our first visit, we decided to indulge. We ordered the butter burgers, cheese curds, and the frozen custard. Yeah, we were ready to explode that night, and it was another half hour on the elliptical, but it was well worth it. Since we've lived out west we never thought we would find a burger place that was better than In N Out Burger, but we did. Overall a great place for a burger. They have a nice variety of burger and chicken sandwiches. Along with some salads and a create your own ice creams. I had the Swiss mushroom on a gluten-free bun with grilled onions. To my surprise it was pretty good. Could use a little more seasoning and pinch of salt. It really wasn't hot, but they gladly offered to make me a fresh hot one and the manager said it was too good to not have it hot. The cheese curds were pretty amazing and the gluten free bun was moist and tasty. The ambiance has a nice decor with lots of families around. The bathroom was spotless and they take pride in keeping it that way. I would suggest better training for the staff, but I think with time they will figure it all out. I have been to many different Culver restaurants. Their butterburgers, custard, and cheese curds are a nice alternative to most of the fast food restaurants around. They also have an abundance of side dishes; some of them healthy, such as the broccoli. With that being said, I've only ever ordered burgers, fries, cheese curds, and frozen custard. The one thing that sets this particular Culver's apart (and the reason I'm giving a 5 star review to a fast food restaurant) is the very friendly service! I stopped in here yesterday with my daughter and one of her friends. We were irritatingly slow in deciding what we wanted to order because we initially were only going to get dessert, but decided at the last minute to get meals. The person working the register (I wish I had gotten his name) was very patient and over-the-top friendly, and accommodating (offering suggestions and such). All politely and with a big smile on his face. This kind of service is getting increasingly difficult to find, especially in a fast-paced restaurant environment. (The food was great too!) So a friend recommended this place to me. So I decided to give it a try. Before I went though I checked to see if they offered a reward program and to see if I could snag something free. I checked their website and yes they did and I snagged a BOGO and a free cup of frozen custard. Based on their menu I went with the expectation of them being similar to Chick-fil-A and maybe a Steak 'n shake combined except for a few menu items. I tried both a crispy chicken sandwich and the chicken strips with fries. The chicken strips for some reason tasted better than the crispy chicken on the sandwich. Already I was comparing the flavors of their chicken sandwich to Chick-fil-A. In my coin toss up Chick-fil-A won in my opinion. The sandwich was freshly made but I felt something was missing in the seasoning. The chicken strips were seasoned better and they tasted even better with the dipping sauce. The service through the drive thru was quick and the staff were welcoming. I'm not sure if I am interested in trying them again if I do I would probably utilize the free frozen custard and see how that stacks up. read more

Cheap greasy onion rings, sweet tea not good and burger patties bland and nothing like the pictures. The patties are thinner than steak and shakes patties. All the food was greasy ass hell. It was not worth 20 dollars??? The only thing that was good was the Pepsi on ice. read more

For those of you who read my reviews you know that I have to start with the service. So, the way that this is set up you place your order for your food and guess what? They bring it to your table for you. They bring the food to you if you're in the drive-through! Talk about great service! And after they drop the food off to you they come back around mid way through your meal to make sure that everything is to your liking. I was impressed! Now for the food. When the food is brought to your tables and you take that first bite of whatever it is that you get the food is piping hot! The taste is just as impressive. I ordered the cod sandwich with fries and a strawberry shake. I was impressed with the choice that I made. The portions are large so make sure you come with an appetite. The facility itself was very clean. There was no food on the tables or in the chairs. Again, did I say I was impressed with the atmosphere? Absolutely! There was even someone to tell you thank you for coming to their establishment when you left the building. I will be returning as I am looking forward to trying something different on the menu. We've eaten here at least once a week over the past several months. The employees are fantastic! Extremely polite, always smiling, they greet us when we walk in and wish us well when we leave. We had high expectations when we heard Culver's was coming to our area. My husband is from Wisconsin and grew up on it. We were not disappointed :). The quality and taste is the same as when we used to eat there in his hometown. It's so fresh and the service was very friendly as well. Once in awhile I just want a plain old double cheese burger with fries :P Culver's definitely satisfied my taste buds for this craving. Great customer service from taking your orders to serving your food. This particular Culver's is fairly new to the area, located right in front of a hotel and apartment complex, easy access with decent parking area. I visited on a weekend and it wasn't hard to find parking. My other favorite part is their fries, large cut, hot and very crunchy. I heard the cheese curds and and frozen custards are other must try. I love this place. It's my new favorite burger joint. I love thin patty burgers with fresh lettuce and tomato. The menu can be a little overwhelming at first but once you go and get a few different things you start to figure out how many different good choices they have. Two of my other favorites are the Reuben and the Cod Filet Sandwich. I have not had a cod sandwich this good at any restaurant at any price. My daughter loves the fresh small batch custard too which is a bonus. She is always excited when I ask her if we can go to Culvers. Great customer service! The lady who took my order, took it down incorrectly. When I received my order I questioned it and they showed me the receipt and gladly offered to pay the difference. This place is brand new and in the same parking lot as the new Texas Roadhouse in Brandon FL...heard all the rave and see it in the TV commercials. It's a Midwest thing trying to gain traction in Florida. The food is fresh and filling. Burgers are very decent, wife had the fish sandwich...comes on a hoagie style bun, she loved it, flaky and moist. With COVID19 still hanging around, seating is sectioned off but spacious...staff all over the cleanliness and wiping everything down...I appreciate that so much that I wanted to tip the busboy because he was on top of his game and in charge of that seating area.
