Rancher friend wanted to try highly respected Culver's chain hamburger as seen online . A wall of choices on 3 big screens behind the counter. We both tried the butter burger with different additions . Big & clean inside , busy on weekday 1pm with plenty of seating divided somewhat for privacy . The food is brought out to the table by helpful efficient staff as was the counter staff . The burger is said to be made fresh daily , a a big round somewhat thin burger I had with grilled onions & lettuce . I was hungry enjoyed it . My rancher friend was very critical of the toasted bun , hard to tell but didn't seem like anything special but held the burger in place . I don't think he will return as other burgers to try . He might have enjoyed one of the " melt " burger sandwiches ? He is critical as father was a cattle broker & my friend former an Az cattle rancher . Hard to find the best burger & steakhouse but he had favorites . Years ago back on trip to mid west another friend took me to Culver's which he lied their custard drink & more. I'm told during religious period of " lent they serve walleye instead of the usual cod . I love this place. I can't believe I have not reviewed it yet. They are amazing. The food and custard are good, but the service is fantastic. The staff is always friendly, respectful, and helpful. We've eaten here a few times, but I guess I've never reviewed it. We like Culver's food, but love their custard! I had an offer for a free birthday sundae (part of their rewards program) and we decided to have lunch here. I got a single sourdough burger and upgraded to a side salad. The burger was good, but next time I'll get a double patty on it. The side salad wasn't the most fresh, but the ranch dressing was yummy. My husband's mushroom Swiss burger was good. The staff were friendly and polite, greeting us when we came in. The decor was typical Culver's and very clean. I got the custard of the day, caramel peanut butter cup, and it was excellent! Drove thru and picked up 2 fish dinners. Ordered a side of Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Sauce to dip the fries into. Was charge for the cheese sauce (on the ticket), but did not get the small container of melted cheese. Called to complain. Carver's fries SUCK and without the cheese sauce to dip them into, they are not edible. Probably one of the worst French fries in the fast food industry. read more

It's crazy that you can get such good service and really decent food from a fast food place. In-N-Out Burger is really good too. No complaints at all about Culver's though. The ice cream they have is fantastic. French fries are always great. The burgers are wonderful. The fish fries are amazing. No complaint at all but what really stands out besides the great food is the courtesy and attitude of the employees. Been to this location twice first time I recieved the wrong burger. The manager did make me another and fix it. Second time I recieved a stale old burger with a soggy bun and soggy fries. Won't be ordering from them again. read more

Cleanliness/Ambiance-Clean and well branded, the blue and white logos are everywhere. I am thoroughly addicted to this place! I come to visit my mom from California every couple of months and I dont get too far into town before I have to get my Culvers fix. The cranberry bacon Bleu salad is fantastic with a side of cheese curds with the signature sauce. Sooooo good. Lots of room for improvement. This location is on its way down to the bottom apparently. Ordered 2 piece Cod dinner. Fish size only half what they used to be. Ordered onion rings with that and got fries. This is 2 times out of the last 4 that the orders were incorrect. The other failure forgot the Cole slaw that goes with that meal. Seem trivial? That was a $25.51 dinner for 2 with a burger and fries added to the fish dinner. I checked the order at the cashier and had to correct the burger also as the cashier got that wrong. The reason I made the disparaging statement about hitting bottom is the fact that when dining in, we hear other tables complain about missed orders. Wake up owner and managers. We love your food when you get it right. But 50% accuracy at the drive through is a recipe for disaster. read more

We just ordered 2 of the "new" chicken sandwiches that are being reintroduced! I asked specifically and emphatically for crispy & not spicy crispy. And even when it was delivered from the drive thru he said "crispy not spicy crispy". Our mouths were both tingly & I needed to drink after every bite. Wow! Their fried fish was surprisingly awesome. I did takeout dinner item and it remained batter crispy w 10 min interval b4 dining. The fish, I'm certain was frozen, was NOT fishy despite lemon slices included. Malt vinegar topped it off and a happy camper I was. They forgot coleslaw but not a fan so did not miss it. I up charged sides: chili cheez fries and onion rings. Fries-meh though I knew from past could not be assisted w chili and cheese sauce and will pass in future.
