Ordered a concrete mixer and cod sandwich, friend ordered a burger. Burger patties were burnt, concrete mixer was basically a vanilla shake, and the guy taking my order knew nothing about the menu. On the plus side the cod fish sandwich wasn't bad. read more

Culver's... I have been hearing about Culver's for a long time now and they finally built this one just a few miles from my house. It is sort of like an upscale fast food place. Nice decor, a very large menu to pick from, and after you order, they bring the food out to you. My first time there I tried their famous Butter Burger Deluxe and got Onion Rings with it. It was very good and super filling. My second trip I wanted to try something different but I loved the butter burger so much, i had it again! But this time, I got the fried cheese curds. They are super yummy but only when they were hot. Buy the time i finished my meal, they got cold and were just okay. Each time I wanted to get a shake or ice cream of some type but was so full i dare not get it! LOL... The staff are all super nice and they all seemed to like their jobs. This is not the healthiest food in the world but for the occasional indulgent fling, this will be a regular place to enjoy! The double cheese is: On par with 5 Guys burger, only without all the grease. Patties have the same crispy edges as Steak & Shake. They use purple raw onions! (yea!) Bun is ok- but IMO best to just to keep your fingers dry and save the carbs for the fries. Onion rings are true onion slices and will be my next visits' option. Good! The fries are just over my preferred thickness, making for a more mealy potato texture. But crisp enough to get past the aftermath of chewing em. I personally prefer Mc Donald's sized fries (Only because the Steak & shake shoestring style are so rarely found! (whaa!) Not bad for the low end burger place price range. I'll be coming back. May be after all of the parking lot is paved tho. Provided us a table number so their runner can deliver the goods. 6:00 on Sat was busy but not crazy. Butterburgers!!! A fast food chain worth trying out! They finally made it closer to Orlando. This place is different from what you are used to for a fast food chain. I like getting the Culver's Bacon Deluxe and fries with a concrete shake to go. Culver's has quickly become my favorite fast food restaurant in the Winter Garden area with quality food that surprises for the price. The butter burgers always taste fresh and the crinkle-cut fries are the perfect side. The cheese curds are a fantastic snack that I frequently order with a concrete. The concretes seem to take the idea of a Dairy Queen blizzard and improve upon it with tons of topping choices, quality ice cream, and a rotating flavor of the day that allows you to always have a new option to try. We have a friend who cannot stop raving about this place so we had to come and see what all the fuss was about. For the most part, it lived up to the hype. My first impression was that this has got to be one of the cleanest fast food places I have ever seen. It was modern, updated, and very comfortable. The menu behind the counter is honestly incredibly overwhelming. My husband and I both opted for burgers with bacon served with crinkle fries. We also shared cheese curds. The burgers were charred... Like a lot. I honestly thought the burger was deep fried at first bite. I asked for everything on my burger except onion and they forgot the ketchup and mustard. Not a biggie. But we also ordered vinegar and gravy for our fries and it was not delivered to our table with everything else. My husband's mint milkshake was really yummy. Reminds me of a Shamrock Shake, which I'm a big fan of. Overall it honestly seems a bit overpriced. I don't usually review a fast food joint but this Culvers warranted it..I've been to other Culvers in Orlando area for concrete's but not a meal. Ordered a sour dough melt meal and dining companion had the same. Sounded good and different from usual fare. Wish I could say the burger tasted good. It was so thin and small that it didn't even have a taste. It didn't even cover the sliced bread. The charred section of meat was thicker then the party. The bread was drenched it so much butter it was soft and greasy . About 5 ( yes you could count then) flakes of onion. Sliced cheeses. This meal was 7.50 at least. Not worth 99 cents. Go to chick fil a, checkers, or even the gas station and get anything better then this. Save your money. Also here at dinner time and place was SLOW maybe this is why. This location is so hit or miss. Today I stopped by for a pint and some curds. Took forever to get the curds as I watched them give other guests curds that ordered after me. Got home for the pint to be half full and the curds seemed frozen. The pint also didnt really have the mix ins either. there were only a few cookies on the bottom and none of the drizzle that was supposed to be there. This Culver's restaurant I give 2 stars because my family enjoys going there on Friday nites for supper. They can sit outside on the "porch" at table with the family dog. My family likes the food. But, my brother-in-law ordered a bacon cheese burger, his burger arrived without the bacon. My mother ordered a Reuben sandwich, the had strange looking sourcraut. Its easy as they could have gotten from a can. I would have given Culvers restaurant NO stars. WARNING: Culvers, like Chic-fil-a, etc., uses MSG in every thing they cook, all their meals. I personally asked the manager & people working in the kitchen about using MSG. At least they were honest with me. If you or some one you know is allergic to MSG please avoid Culvers. No where on Culvers' website, nor in their food brochure do they mention they do use MSG! It was a $5 Burger and I don't have the time to make the trip back over there for $5. this is the second time we've been to this location. The first time it was much better. It's always clean, the staff are always super nice, and the desserts make the whole trip worth it. We have been eating here and at the Clermont location since they opened. But as time passes we have seen a decline in the accuracy of our orders, the quality of our food, and the value for our money. As an example, the burgers are getting greasier and the Concretes are a soupy mess within minutes of receiving them. We really looked forward to them opening here in town, but as time passes our frequency of visits has declined because of the conditions noted above. If you guys are wondering why your financial numbers are declining, take a look at the experience your customers are having and improve it soon. I never leave reviews but I stopped at this location on my way home last Saturday and the two burgers I ordered were burnt so bad that even my beagles wouldn't eat them, and they will eat just about anything. I've always been blown away by the customer service efforts from Culver's, so when something goes wrong I tend to look the other way and let it go. Generally I read the intention and proceed to understand the mistake. I rate fast food within its category. Missing items in the drive thru, the quality of food items, the time to cook fresh items, all of these I look the other way for the bargain of smiles and attentive service at Culver's. Tonight I made a simple order of 2 sets of fries they promised to cook "fresh." From being greeted/submitted payment at the window, I waited while staff swept floors, sprayed/wiped equipment, washed counters, between 10 -15 mins. This could have been another oversight. Not one representative came back to the window to warn of wait, rather some looked up and laughed. I did not take it personally, but it's worth mentioning for illustration. If I hadn't paid I would have driven away. Finally receiving the orders of fries I noticed they were not fresh, they tasted old. Chances are they may have been made and left to sit for as long as I had. Afterall unless they're cutting/crinkling, frying, fries do not take that long. I will not get that time of waiting back, nor for writing this review, but hopefully the latter could be used constructively to help their team to be better. read more

Got here right when they open up at 10am. Although I was super early but it didn't take long before I was greeted. Placing the order was quite easy and quick. There some area of the restaurant floor was wet. Small pool of water here and there. Possible dripping from the ac vent overnight. They mopped up the place but I didn't see any sign of slip floor been put out. For me, that may cause someone to slip and fall which could be prevent easily by a sign for caution. Fortunely, there not many crazy customer like me that come in when they just open up. Very satisfying on the hamburger meal. Good portion and quality seem good. I ordered the double cheeseburger​. It didnt really bother me. I sit at the far end from the counter and kitchen area. However, I pretty much can heard all their conversation. The manager Tim Colman does not know what true customer service or customer loyalty is. His approach to my request for a refund was horrible! He needs some serious training. Telling me, the customer that I ordered incorrectly?!? I had the new order taker verify that I did ask what came with a burger twice and it was still wrong. We used the drive through and reconfirmed at the window, but still it was wrong. The meal was for my 90 year old father, my 66 year old husband and myself. We went to a park for lunch where we realized everything was wrong. Tim said that they ate their meal so we were not entitled to a refund of the burgers eaten. I had to let them eat as they are diabetic. Tom proceeded to tell me that I was making it all up just get a free meal, that's why I drove all the way back to get my refund!!! What a poor business man he is. Do you think I would waste my time if I was not disappointed with the food I received? Tim's apparently too rich to give a darn about his customers. Another one I forgot to review at the time, I went here to get a milkshake for my daughter and got myself one as well. The milkshake taste was comparable to that of McDonalds or Burger King (which isn't a good thing in my opinion). I ended up throwing it away, it was over priced for the poor quality.
