Cute place. Got 1/2 tuna sammy with pasta salad on the side. Everything was fresh and bread was delish with a nice crust.

We can't say enough good things about 4th Street Deli located in the historic district of Fernandina Beach. *:。゚ヽ(*‿*)ノ Kim and her staff are all incredibly friendly, making every visit feel like catching up with old friends. The value you get here is outstanding, with an array of delicious sandwiches, salads and other menu items that always hits the spot! What stands out the most is their attentiveness - they go the extra mile to ensure you have a GREAT experience. Highly recommend if you are in the area! 4th Street Deli is a gem that blends warm hospitality, great food, and a family-friendly vibe seamlessly! ƪ(・‿・) Just remember to plan early as their hours are 10:30-3:00 Monday thru Saturday, and seating is limited! It's a pretty popular place with the locals and tourists, so it can be crowded, but they do move folks through quickly! *:。゚ #supportlocal @ 4th Street Deli and Salads-Fernandina Beach. *:。゚

Had a nice lunch on a weekday around 1 PM, and we snagged a table in the small seating area, but they were quite busy. Nice selection of sandwiches and breads, and a case of salads that looked fresh and tasty. Our sandwiches came out quickly, and were as advertised, with deli meat on mine that had good flavor (not always the case with deli meat), and a vibrant chicken salad for my wife. Staff is very polite and we observed superior customer service while we sat and observed people coming in and out. Seemed to be lots of regulars and a few of us passing through. Had a $2 upcharge on our bill that wasn't clear about what it was for, but a minor thing considering the whole experience.

These folks here really make the most amazing sandwiches and salads and the price for what you get is just as amazing. I keep wanting to try the kimchi but get so thrilled at the other salads I never get to try the kimchi! The ladies here know all their customers and always have such a happiness about them. They work hard to make sure all the customers are pleased with their big lovely sandwiches. I have tried so many different sandwiches her and they are all delicious. This is a tourist dream as it's a locals spot right in the heart of downtown Fernandina Beach. Pick up some sandwiches before your flight home. It's all good !

Cozy spot with excellent food. Classic deli items and lots of specials. The gyro with house made tzatziki was delicious. Friendly staff and fast service.

Yelp did NOT let me down! This downtown family establishment is a GEM! Highly recommend trying several of their salads- both of mine were delish! Also love the sandwiches- made fresh and with your choice of bread. Very friendly staff! Best meal I had in Amelia Island

Super fast and tasty, Since hola Cuban wasn't open and I needed a fix, I went with that. Could have been a bit moister, but it's a sandwich shop and for the price good enough. Spouse wen with half Rubin and salad both were more than acceptable. Will visit again when in the neighborhood.

Prices are very reasonable for Fernandina Beach, so I give them credit for being fair and decent with cost. Food was on time and service was efficient. I know this is FL and not NYC, but my Reuben was very bland and cold. The taste was like prepared foods at a grocery store. That said, I probably shouldn't have ordered a Reuben, and something more Floridian might've been better. Given their great reviews I will try them again but definitely something else on the menu.

Tasty avocado, tomato, corn etc side!

According to my last review it's been 4 years since we ate here. How can that be true! The food is fresh, tasty snd large portions!

I think if the websites show everything on it, they should list that some items are not available at all locations. I then found the New Orleans Muffaletta that sounded wonderful, but it said it had prosciuttini on it; I'm familiar and LOVE prosciutto so I started my order and said that I had never had that before, but I assumed it was pretty similar to prosciutto. She told me that that it was a peppered ham, but was not on the sandwich. I said it clearly says it's on a sandwich and she looked at the menu board and said well it doesn't, it has capicola. I stepped away and looked up what prosciuttini was, and it was not described anything like a peppered ham or like she described. I was to the point of not wanting to order anything, but since my husband and son were with me and they wanted something, I asked her if I could see what it looked like so I can make a decision. She held it up and it didn't look anything different than regular ham. I decided to get it anyway, and I asked her if it could be made like the menu described. She stared at the menu board for a minute and thought about it and decided it was OK to do it that way. That seemed like the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard; if the menu shows what is on it and you seem to make it differently than what it's supposed to be, wouldn't you expect it to make it as it says on the menu without question - I'm not modifying anything! It turned out to be a very nice sandwich. The bread was fresh, the lunch meat was fresh, and even the muffaletta was good, albeit not drained much, so it was very oily. My husband had a Kong and thought it was very good as well. Just to clarify, she was not rude or anything like that, she was actually a nice person. I just think the whole thing was insane that I was being told I was wrong. I would go back again.

Our server was kind, but not overly friendly (I don't want a performance, you know?). And our food came out maybe 10 minutes after we ordered. We were early enough to order the Sunrise Special and the egg portions seemed surprisingly large! The grits were lovely. The bacon was not the best, it's thin cut (reminiscent of microwave bacon) and I prefer it to be thick. I ordered the eggs Benedict and really enjoyed it. The hollandaise could have had a touch more seasoning, but the texture was great. I actually preferred the Canadian bacon that came on it than the regular bacon that came with the Sunrise Special. It was perfectly salty and crisp. Oh! And it came with crab meat on it which was a special twist I didn't expect but really appreciated. The potatoes are cut into large chunks, but they are well seasoned and cooked nicely. I can't stand when a potato is undercooked, but this place didn't have that problem. And the cherry on top was the water. Florida locals may not be bothered by the ocean-y taste that comes with their drinking water, but for our family it is something that's hard to get past. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this water tasted as if it was filtered and the ice is that soft kind that's pleasant to chew. This might seem like a silly thing to add, but it really stood out to me and I'm grateful for it.

Unfortunately we picked a day where 2 cooks and 1 server all called in sick so we had to wait about 40 minutes for our food. Note- This review does not reflect this wait time, only the food and prices. When the food finally arrived it was just sub par and also had me questioning the high prices. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap with a side of the deviled egg potato salad and an additional side of the cheddar mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was $5.99. $5.99 for no more than 3 ounces of sub par mac and cheese. They are making a killing on their side dish prices. Kraft mac and cheese would have been better and 1/6th the price. The wrap was average at best. The workers were working hard for being understaffed, I will give them that.
