Above and Beyond: The Best Birthday Party at Chick-fil-A SR200! I rarely write reviews, but the team at the Chick-fil-A on SR200 (Amelia Island/Yulee) deserves massive recognition. They went so far above and beyond to make my 4-year-old's birthday party truly unforgettable. The experience started with Matt, the store manager, who was an absolute star. Matt personally facilitated us having the party right in their dining area, and from the moment our friends and family walked in, we felt completely welcomed and celebrated. He really takes ownership and pride in making sure the community has a great experience. The party itself was a massive success! The kids had the time of their lives burning off all that Chick-fil-A and cake energy in the play area, running, jumping, and sliding to their hearts' content. Of course, the highlight for everyone was the Chick-fil-A Cow making an appearance to take photos with all the excited kids! Beyond Matt, the entire store team was helpful, kind, and genuinely excited for our son. They even took the time to get and sign a birthday card for him, which was such an unexpected and thoughtful touch. It's clear this Chick-fil-A location--from Matt down to the newest team member--truly cares about the Yulee community. This store is a local gem, and we'll definitely be back often! Staff needs a lot of training. I ordered a large drink and the cashier did not hear me and cashed me out with a small. I tried to just pay the difference and he wanted to charge me for s complete drink instead of an upcharge. Another employee was watching and couldn't help him either. I went through the drive thru and spent $30 on food, and normally I never have anything bad to say about chick fil a. And I never check my bag after because they have never messed up before in my entire time of eating there, well they've lost my trust now. Tonight I make it all the way back to the island and I missing my nuggets. After an already not great day it was really upsetting to have to drive an extra 30 minutes to go back out there just to receive food I had paid for. And all I got was a lousy apology. Amazing, delicious, crispy chicken and fresh fries, salted perfectly. The dine-in experience is one of the best I've had despite the few times I've gone inside. Staff is easy to talk with and understanding, very kind. When doing drive thru or pickup orders, the lines can be way too long and makes me not want to order from this establishment. Stopped in for a treat and although I didn't request any changes to my chocolate shake, when I went in to pick it up, the whipped cream and cherry was missing. When I asked, the response was, "Oh, they must have thought it was a door dash"...to which I responded, it's not, it was a mobile order. She checked the receipt/order and I asked if I could please have the whipped cream and cherry that showed as included when I ordered. So the young lady takes it (obviously put off by my request to have it made the way it was ordered) and brought it back a few minutes later with the whipped and cherry. Not sure where all the 1 reviews are coming from. This chick-fila is better than most in Jacksonville area the big city near by. Food is exactly the same as any other chick-fila from Naples to NY and I've been to Chick-fila in both those cities and many in between. There is no other fast food that has a better chicken sandwich. All the hamburger joints have thin chicken breast's and lots of breading or the compressed stuff. read more

I came on Friday night to go through the drive thru. I went around the building as instructed, and a car jumped the line and got in front of me. No worries! Phillip was waiting to take my order. I was able to pick what I wanted, scan my app, and pay right there. Phillip did a great job! When I got to the window, Allison was waiting to hand me my food. Chick fill a has always been known for there drive thru service. Recently they have been slipping. I would rate them about as good as wataburger. Not as bad as McDonald's drive thru service. The managers need to be actively watching both in house and dive thru. Let's hope it doesn't continue until it drops to Wendy's or even Arby's drive thru service. read more

This was my so long Florida luncheon meal before heading back to NYC. The staff here were super friendly as with all Chick-fil-A locations, but the employee on the floor offering to refill your beverage was exceptionally nice. I had not experienced this before in a CFA location. She came around to our table twice to check on us and to remove our refuse. My standard #1 with a sweet tea and waffle fries. There is just something about being able to have a really good chicken sandwich consistently at CFA. You just know the standard of quality is there at each location. The menu sure has expanded over the last few years. Even the salad lover can get some greens and be happy. I probably would give the location a 5 if I had checked out the bathroom and it was clean, but since I left that off my to do list during my visit, I am sticking at a 4 star rating. read more

We have always loved Chick-fil-A. Especially ours located at "Amelia Island". It has always been warm and friendly with respectful service. The food portions used to always be more generous than other locations. My complaints are that service has changed the past couple years. If you go evenings, any evening but especially Friday or Saturday nights, the crew seems to consist entirely of teenagers and usually no manager or maybe a very young crew leader on shift that isn't really watching and overseeing consistent quality. During those times (even when it's slower and between crowds) the wait times get longer, mistakes have become frequent, portions have shrunk. The young people behind the counter or at the drive through seem distracted conversing instead of doing a fantastic job making sure everything is included and correct, like this place used to be known for. 9/10 the last couple years, we've left without a complete order or if we dine in during those times, guaranteed we will have to go to the counter for at least one missing item. We also wish this location had at least a couple tables set up at all times for a party larger than 4. As a family of 6, we aren't freakishly huge but we always have to search out a place where we won't block others by piecing together tables/chairs while juggling our young children and trying to get our drinks, etc to a table. They used to have one lone corner with more seating, but it was removed to make way for the barricade wall that went up during Covid. When it was still available, it was a nice option to have for a larger group (when staff on break wasn't spread out at it). read more

By far the rudest chick fil a I've ever been to. The cashier taking my order never once said a word and hardly looked at me. Her name was Emily. The other staff member that put my food on the counter THREW it up to me (it was just one bag) and NO STAFF MEMBER bothered to thank me for my business. I patronize this location 3-4 times per month as it is near my office and close to many of the other businesses I frequent. I have never encountered an unfriendly or apathetic employee here, even though they are all quite young. Never have I seen someone out of uniform or without a name tag or unshaven or unclean or heck - without white teeth. It's as if the management orders their staff from a catalog! I've never even seen one standing around - they're constantly moving. Ever see an employee of a fast food restaurant standing around the back door smoking? Not here you haven't. Although the service and cleanliness of this location are consistently superior, I withheld one star because the food, especially the packing of the orders for drive-through service, is not on par with the rest of the operation. On several occasions I've returned to my office after a quick (and they are very fast) run through the drive-through to discover that they left out the fat-free honey mustard dressing that I ordered with my chargrilled chicken salad. Or the fork was missing. Or the diet coke was regular coke. Every now and then I get a salad with wilted lettuce and too-soft tomatoes (not fresh). I keep forks and light salad dressing at the office, but nobody likes a mushy tomato and soggy lettuce in a salad. Still, the fact that I am loyal to this location should serve as an indicator that the overall experience here is head and shoulders above every other fast food eatery in eastern Nassau county. It's really hard to go wrong with a Chick-Fil-A sandwich and a sweet tea or a peach milkshake....I do miss their coleslaw though. This location's parking lot is sometimes a challenge and the current road destruction/construction of S.R. 200 certainly doesn't help. The franchise owner and I assume the employees are "on board" seem to go the extra mile and host several events a month sponsoring/supporting the local schools and community. The food is alway fresh and made with high quality ingredients and the staff and service can not be beat. I have to agree with the last post from 10/25. I love Chik Fila Yulee and the whole company and philosophy in general. But if you go through the drive through after 8ish it's been terrible lately. No service outside, 10+ young employees running around inside. A few weeks ago, they were out of lettuce for sandwiches, same price for a deluxe. We have lettuce for salads but not sandwiches Forgot the bacon and it took 20 minutes and it wasn't busy. I went in and the nice kid manager on duty fixed the problem and was very nice. Last night / super slow, I was the 4th vehicle, took 20+ minutes and finally get to the window. Orders not ready and we are out of pepper jack cheese. !5 kids in the window. Now there are cars around the building and it's almost 9pm. I was bummed and left, wasted time after work and hungry. read more
