A new favorite for me! I found this place on Yelp looking for a good place for breakfast, I found…read moreit. This place is great! The menu has so many different favorites of mine so I picked the #1 breakfast. It's a good mix of breakfast staples, eggs, meat, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. Everything was served piping hot and was delicious! I had not expected such a great meal and delicious food on my first try in a new city and restaurant. I can't wait to go back in the morning for breakfast again. Everything was delicious but the biscuits and gravy deserve special mention. The biscuits are the best I have ever eaten, light, fluffy, crispy edges. I don't know what their secret is but these are the best biscuits I've ever had. The gravy is also awesome with chunks of sausage and a perfect blend of spices blended together with a smooth texture. Just thinking about the biscuits and gravy makes my mouth water and my stomach growl with hunger. The servers are so sweet and tentative. Our drinks were always full. Everything we would normally have to ask for at other restaurants was brought out with the food, I'm talking about things like ketchup, syrup, butter, creamer, extra napkins. After ordering the food was served quick and it was fresh and hot. It wasn't sitting around waiting to be served. When the meal was over and the plates were taken away our drinks were topped off and we were able converse with each other while our check was being processed by our server. Our server was a wonderful lady who was friendly and helpful and always carried a great smile. The dining experience was very relaxed. This is one of those places where the locals meet and enjoy great food and conversation together. It's the kind of place that you feel comfortable being at. You feel like you're one of the locals too. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, everyone says hello with a genuine smile. This is one of those places that you wish you had at home. I'm already planning my next visit to Ashland City and Mama D's is on the top of my list.

We both ordered the Barbacoa Breakfast Burrito with the onions, pepper & potato, with that red sauce and some delicious green pureed salsa... wow it was good! I would not recommend trying to drive wile trying to handle this Burrito, the massive size and potential for unintentionally dripping on your seat or cloths is fairly high. It is well worth the few minutes to sit there in your car or on their tables, eat & enjoy. It took only a few minutes for the girl to make these up, but these 2 massive Burritos came out hot, fresh & delicious! Overall, this little gem is one of the best and authentic tasting places I have found anywhere near here. If olny they could make the Margaritas, it would become our regular for "Mexican Night." Good food, fast & friendly service and hot food with great flavor is a win, win, win.

He personally told everyone to have a great day on their way out, which made the whole place feel welcoming and intentional. The restaurant was very clean -- and I mean actually clean. The floors didn't have that weird oily or sticky feeling that some restaurants have. Everything, including the drink dispenser, was spotless and working properly. I really appreciated that you can order face to face or through a kiosk. The kiosk option is especially nice for people who deal with anxiety. Just a tip -- if you order at the kiosk, you'll need to ask for your drink cups while you wait for your food. I ordered the Classic Burger combo, and it was hands down the best burger I've ever eaten. The bun was soft without being soggy, the burger itself was juicy and full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh. The burgers and fries are made to order, which really makes a difference. It was mildly busy, and it only took about 8 minutes for our two combo meals. The décor was super cute, with fun 1990s vibes that matched the Wayback theme perfectly. Overall, such a positive experience -- great food, great service, and a clean, welcoming environment. We'll definitely be back!

My husband loves to eat their Cheeseburger and Fries, but even those were better than they had been in the past. Normally I would order something like a French Dip if it was on the menu, and it was, but I was in the mood for some good, old fashioned Southern Cooking. I got the Seniors Catfish & Two (sides) which were the Turnip Greens & Fries for only $8.99! One Roll came with it in addition to the two Hushpuppies that were included with the Senior Catfish Plate. The Catfish Filet was very, very large and the side of Turnip Greens very delicious and generous in serving size. I also had one of their Cocktails, some sort of Berry Martini which was absolutely delicious! Afterwards, after finding out it was our Anniversary we were surprised with a Hot Fudge Sundae, complete with Hot Chocolate Sauce with Cold Ice Cream on top of a Hot Fudge Brownie to be shared by the two of us! We thought that was so sweet (and absolutely To-Die-For-Delicious) that we tipped our thoughtful waitress 30%. Please don't forget that when service is fast, thoughtful and polite with a measure of sweetness, to tip generously. And if the food is bad it is NOT the Waitress' fault. They don't cook the food; they just relay the order and bring it to you. All of this, including our drinks & tip, was under $50! Thank you, Briana, for being such a fantastic Waitress! -Cyndi & Greg

My mother in law had wanted to sit inside at a booth but for some reason they said they weren't seating that area. Maybe they didn't have a server for that section, but idk. I was happy to be outside tho. It was a really nice day so i was glad to be able to enjoy it. You do have to deal with the occasional revving of engines while people show off as they head to Walmart but nothing anyone can do about that. I ordered the French dip and sweet potato fries. My mother in law got fried shrimp with green beans and coleslaw. The French dip did not come with au jus. I didn't pay attention to the menu so idk if it just doesn't come with it or they forgot it. The server didn't come back until we were almost done so I didn't see a point in asking about it by then. The sandwich was very good, the au jus would have made it exceptional. The sweet potato fries were very good too. I usually try to stay away from fried foods and it was hard for me to stop eating these. My mother in law commented that the green beans were delicious and didn't seem to be from a can. She liked the shrimp too. Unfortunately her cocktail sauce was frozen solid. She was able to get some hot sauce tho so she made due with that. Aside from a few hiccups this place was good and I'd definitely try food from here again. Service was ok. I wish our server would have checked on us a little after we got our food so we could have asked about the au jus and cocktail sauce. It wasn't busy at all so I'm not sure why the service was so meh.

From our very first email, Maddie stood out as the most personable, welcoming, and attentive venue coordinator we met during our search. Hachland Hill is a small, family-run business in all the best ways, with owners and staff who genuinely care about helping you create your dream day. The natural beauty of the venue allowed us to keep decorations to a minimum, which helped keep our budget manageable. Our guests loved the uniqueness of the property, and the valley setting even protected us from the stronger winds and rain that passed through on our wedding day. The staff thoughtfully brought out heaters at the last minute without us even needing to ask. And the food--you have to experience it. Carter is incredibly talented and intentional in everything he does. Months later, our guests are still talking about how amazing the brisket was. We also had our closest family and friends stay on-site, which added so much excitement and connection to the wedding weekend. It gave our guests a chance to experience a different side of Nashville while creating unforgettable memories together. This venue truly checks every box. Every time we drove onto the property, I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and peace. If you have questions and would like to hear more about our experience, Maddie can provide our contact information. We're already looking forward to future date nights back at Hachland Hill!
