I would give this a 3 star review if I didn't see what their dinner options are like. I was expecting tikka masala with a lot of sauce and white rice but the bowl I got wasn't that great. The chicken was good but I don't like the extras. Half the bowl was yellow rice. I think I would much prefer just the chicken with white rice and the sauce. I don't like their lunch bowls, but I'm sure I would enjoy their dinner options much more. The staff are friendly, the store is clean, and the service is quick. My uppity hoity toity NY a$$ was not expecting to be amazed by this restaurant in Allentown but color me wrong. The food is delicious and the prices are similar to places in Queens, NY. I was in PA and saw good reviews for this place so ordered some dal and papadi chat and i was disappointed. If was so spicy i was not able to eat. I had asked for medium spicy and dal to be hot but both were super hot and I eat spicy food at food. I was suprised with the spice level. They had too much garlic it burned my stomach. used to come here for the chicken tiki masala until one day the chicken was so rough it was completely inedible. Not tender at all, just masked in a delicious sauce. The quality of chicken they use was either low or overcooked, either way i can't risk the money anymore for potentially inedible food which is unfortunate cause it is delicious. It has been several years since we've been able to enjoy well prepared Indian cuisine. We were not disappointed. Probably ordered too much, but I had to have their dosa. The goat was fantastic, and not fatty. DH has the chicken tikka masala and loved it. Best part, they fit us in when we needed to be. This food FAR exceeded our expectations. I love Indian food and we are lucky to have a few good Indian restaurants in the area - this is my family's new favorite. We have ordered Samosa, Gobi Manchurian, Dal Tadka, Lamb Makhani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo and lots of Garlic Naan to share family style. It was enough for 2 adults and 3 kids (including a teenage boy that eats enough for a small army). We ordered level 2 spice for everything. It was spicy, but still okay for the kids to handle. I would love to try 3-4, but I expect it would be too hot for the little ones who shy away from spice. The Gobi was probably the spiciest, so this is the only one that I may have ordered at a lower spice. Even the Samosa had some heat. If you know you don't like spicy food - order level 1. If you like even a little spice - level 2 is a good starting point. It certainly did not lack flavor and (spoiler alert) you are going to order from here again! The main dishes came with two big containers of rice, which were perfect to share along with the Garlic Naan. Our one mistake - we should have ordered more Naan because we fought over the last pieces!!! The Makhani and Tikka Masala won the votes for family favorite. The flavors were amazing and maybe even better as leftovers. The Vindaloo was also delicious. We were big fans of the red dishes! The Dal Tadka was a nice contrast to the other dishes. It was not spicy, but had a nice contrasting flavor to balance out the meal. My kids have never liked lentils when I prepare them, but they came back for more of this. Overall - we gave this meal an A+ and we can't wait to order again. Our only problem now is that we want try other dishes, but it will be hard to pass up re-ordering anything we already know is so good. read more

Amazing. This is my first time ordering from this place; a friend told me it was good & they were certainly right. It's so good, I'm actually typing this review while I eat! I ordered paneer 65, samosas, chicken korma & some garlic naan. Everything is super fresh and well prepared. I opted for spice level 3, out of 4, and it's perfect. Just a touch of sweat on my upper lip, with all the other spice still coming through clearly. Definitely have leftovers, which is awesome! The restaurant is spotlessly clean & the owners (I assume?) were friendly & welcoming. This will be a first trip of many!! Whenever I visit a new town I like to try the "5 star" restaurant in the are. Well let me tell you 5 stars is short for this place. The best authentic Indian food I have had in a very long time. It was delicious. I had the Goat Biryani and it was soooooo good I came back the next day and had the chicken tikka bowl. The service was great, they where very helpful in explaining the menu and packed the food to go so nicely and secure. We had our first delivery experience and it was awesome! The Chicken Makhani was perfect spiced at level 2. Maybe next time, I will kick it up a notch! Hard to find good Indian in this area. This may be one of two or so that hit the mark. The rest are really pretty disappointing. Flavors were spot on and everything was really fresh. Absolutely amazing!!! I'm still a newbie to Indian food - my only real experience is at Sana at Disney... one of my favorite places ever to dine. Cumin absolutely blew my expectations away! It blew the Disney dining experience away! First time having Somosa - sooo good as an appetizer! It was like tons of love in little triangles. The chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo were both perfect - the meats were tender and perfectly cooked and the sauces - wow - mouth watering! The only negative that I have is that the $4 for garlic naan and onion kulcha seemed a little expensive for the 4 pieces per order... the spice level at medium is perfect- I'd be scared to go any higher in the heat level unless you're brave! I've only said this once before - but if possible- I would definitely dine here weekly if possible! read more

Samosa was decent and soft. Malai kofka was horrible. Hard balls and the sauce tasted like squash soup. Lamb korma was bearable. The mandurian kaliflower was really tasty it was the best thing we had. The goat birriani was like hot firenin my mouth with a raw spice taste that did not fit my fancy. We are leaving with a bunch of left overs that we may or may not ever eat. There were alot of ppl coming in and out so this place definitely suites someone but not me. Have to be honest it's a lil less than average even though the staff was extremely friendly . Really wanted it to be better. The seats were uncomfortable with very little padding. This is one of my favorite places to eat! We dine in and get takeout regularly and the food is consistently delicious. Today I had the samosa chaat and a chicken tikka lunch bowl with rice, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and a yogurt drizzle. It was incredible. I ordered everything medium spice and it had just the right amount of flavor with a nice kick. The chicken is so moist and tender and bursting with flavor. Stopped in to try this place and was pleasantly surprised at the menu! A great selection of choices with an excellent explanation of the variety of sauces available! The lamb was excellent and the cumin roti took me back to the roti I had in Barbados! The place was laid out for social distance seating but there was plenty of pickup of to go orders as well.
