The techs appear very capable and even though we have used this shop several times in the past (it's the only one within 100 miles of where we live), our past experiences from years ago were amazing. Not so much anymore. Like one reviewer stated, the service rep acts like he hates his job and just wishes we would go away. Huh? Don't you want work to keep everyone employed? He is difficult to work with and not friendly at all. We have a Class A motorhome and while other Cummins shops have always worked on our coach under our warranty, this shop won't even talk to you about it. They won't talk to your warranty people first, then you have to fight him to even talk to them after the work is done, even with me dialing, making the connection and just asking to tell the warranty people they did the work and not me. Making an appointment is a waste of time as no matter when you have an appointment, they most likely will not even look at the work for days, or ever weeks. We used to be fulltime RVers and this cost quite a bit in hotels and food when we have a perfectly good home sitting behind a fence. Being fulltime RVers we have used many Cummins shops over the years from California to Florida. This has to be the worst run place. Sad. There used to be pride in the work you did. read more

I dropped off a generator that was given to me to be repaired , didn't run. The service guy Andres called me an hour n half later telling me it was $1000 to replace carb and fuel pump to possibly get it going. Absolutely NOT is what I said, I'll be back Monday to get it, it was Frida. Monday I showed up to get it, he wasn't there so I paid $210 for nothing basically and wasn't able to get it. I was told to come back tomorrow which I did but it still wasn't done. this place is plagued by poor training on personnel , bad communication skills and costly repairs. I should have stuck by my values of watching out for companies who have bad reviews and never doing business with them. my fault for going against my belief. BE AWARE FOLKS READ REVIEWS!!!!!!! We stopped at this Cummins location in February. We unfortunately had mixed a small amount of Def in our diesel tank in our Motorhome. They drained off the water in the fuel separator and replaced the filter. When we returned to pick it up the engine would not start. They cranked and cranked and the check engine light came on again. They said it was due to excessive cranking and would go away. We went and parked for several days in an RV park nearby. When we started to leave for another location the light came on again and so we returned. This time they said that anytime there is any contamination the entire system needs to be replaced. They showed us the warning from Cummins. We had to leave our RV for 3 weeks. We drove back to Utah. We flew back down when it was ready. In the meantime our insurance denied the claim. We had not notified them before the repair began. They said that all shops know they need to tell us to call our insurance before starting. When we asked Cummins about this they told us that their policy is to never work with insurance companies. So we now were over $30,000 into this. We made a mistake and learned a hard lesson. We drove back to Utah. When we arrived we noticed that we had fuel dripping out. We took it to a garage in St George. The fuel tank had been incorrectly replaced. The fuel cap would not go on all the way. The side of the RV was covered with fuel. The cowling appeared to be shaved off to make the cap fit. The garage we went to did not charge us for fixing the fuel tank. He said "you have been so badly treated and I am doing this for no charge." We had asked Cummins multiple times to do the fuel test for Def. They told us they would but we have had no response from anyone there. We could not be more disappointed in this Cummins location. read more

The rep at the counter acted like he hated his job. It was more of a hassle for him to work with you not very friendly.

If you own a RV or semi truck or anything that has a Cummins motor, don't bother taking it to this establishment. They will rip you off and when you decline the work they will make it were the problem will happen again. I brought in a semi truck to look at the after treatment system and to look at the check engine light and stop engine light. I'm a diesel mechanic so I did most of the work but I don't have the proper scan tool to remove the codes. So first thing, nobody called me for any updates which I had to do the calling. Then they tell me that they found nothing yet but had to realign the SCR filter because it was leaking from the clamps, which I let that go because I did clean out the filter myself, so it could've been leaking a little but I doubt it. Then they came back with a quote for 2200-2400 for clamps, gaskets and exhaust bellow and so I declined the work. Picked up the unit and they charged me 800 and in the story from the mechanic had that they realigned the clamps and filter for the leaks but when I got it i to the shop there was a big leak at one of the clamps supposedly they have realigned. So i realigned the filter and clamp, but I also remember the service writer did say if I don't get the job done from them it will happen again and I will be back. Which they did get the codes deleted and if I didn't fix that leak it would've have happened again. I don't know about anyone but when I do work for a customer and I say I did it, I make sure I did it and not scam the customer. Especially this is a Cummins service center. You would expect better work and quality. So I paid 800 for them to hook up the computer and delete the codes. I will never go back to this establishment again and I hope this review helps other ppl too. If you really have to go to a Cummins center, take it to the tolleson branch. In reality you really don't have to go to Cummins unless you need to hookup to Cummins insite software. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS THEY WILL UPSALE YOU FOR MORE THEN YOU NEED TOO. read more

Unbelievable service I experienced yesterday. They gave me hope in customer service! I took my RV in for repairs for my generator, which my RV Dealer worked on twice, only to make it inoperable. I was so impressed with Amber, their Service Supervisor. She went far and beyond in getting me back on the road and her Manager and Repair Tech were great and informative.
