Everything was vegan & gluten free! The geode cookies were so lifelike that my friends didn't want to eat them. I was a little wary of the Earl Grey flavored cake, but it has become my new favorite flavor. It's not entirely subtle, but regularly enjoying Earl Grey tea, it definitely pulls in the earthy-spice-lemon aspects. The frosting was a bit too sweet, but technically, the lavender flavor did work really well. Money well spent and I hope that I can order again from here. read more

My sister is super sensitive to gluten and I wanted to get her a cake for her birthday. I got in touch with Caitlin and told her what I was looking for and she was very quick to respond. After a few emails, we decided on the type of cake, and scheduled the time for her to drop it off (I scheduled this with her about 2 weeks in advance). The day she dropped it off, we kept the cake in the fridge until about 2 hours prior to serving it. I went with the 4" brownie cake and it was absolutely delicious. The brownies and cake were super moist and chocolate-y. I would highly recommend ordering a cake from Caitlin, whether or not you need it to be gluten-free. On short notice, I asked Caitlin to make a small cake for my sister's birthday. She helped me decide on red velvet and offered to decorate it. I gave her free rein and she went way above expectation. Not only did she create a beautiful cake, including gold leaf, the flavor was off the charts. I will be honest that I was a little scared that we were going to get a dense, gooey cake, like we had experienced in the past with other bakeries. But this cake was the BEST gluten free, vegan, organic CAKE I have ever had!!! It was LOADED WITH FLAVOR, a beautiful bright red color, and the ganache (OMG the ganache!). Ill start off by saying I didnt order a cake but did go through the process: I wanted to order a birthday cake for my soon to be one year old baby. I contacted her well in advance. She worked with me on a winnie the pooh themed cake and lots of differnent pooh themed treats. She is so incredibly nice and patient. That being said, I think everyone who orders from her should also be patient with her as much as possible. She does a lot of really nice cakes for a VERY reasonable price. If you take a look at her instagram you will see how beautiful the cakes are. I believe she is working on hiring someome to be responsible for her emails. Best vegan cake we've had. Served it to our guests and no one knew the difference even the kids kept digging into it. As far as the assessment of the taste, I think the best that I can offer was this comment: "If I did not know these were gluten free, I would not be able to tell." I've had the sheer joy and pleasure of devouring a Cup My Cakez Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Coconut Mini cupcakes, and pack of Whoopee Pies (a personal favorite). Just one of the many, many unique qualities that stood out in the pies was how you could actually taste apple and pumpkin - the taste was authentic, a trait lacking in nearly every dessert I've fallen victim to in as many years as I can think back on. Owner/cake artist Caitlin rose to the occasion of my daughter's birthday at a trampoline place, and I too wanted her to stay as a guest! She carved a beautiful "13" cake covered with shimmering glitter, homemade candies of natural ingredients and coloring, even adding matching star candles. She also delivered to the venue (so I didn't have to worry about transport, heat and crushed frosting), in spite of late confirmation/payment (when her emails filtered to my inbox's wrong folder). The snickerdoodles and lemon cupcakes (which Caitlin thoughtfully added pink sprinkles to since I'm having a girl) were already gone by the time I got to them, but the mint chocolate and tiramisu cupcakes were sooo good!! Everyone loved the cupcakes and they were all gone by the end of the party. Even though the cupcakes were "mini-cupcakes" I felt that they were not too small but in fact just the right size. I ordered a 6", three-layer birthday cake for myself and my fiancé. The filling was vanilla bean and strawberry compote (the strawberry cupcake filling, basically). I can honestly say that every part of the cake was delicious, including the decorations and frosting. The strawberry compote parts were especially scrumptious.
