Where do I even begin ... this was the worst experience!! This was my second order with Sugar Jones, and I hesitated to write this -- but the lack of response and respect needs to be shared. I requested a pastel, whimsical, tea design cake and sent reference photos. What I received was bold, watermelon-like colors that completely clashed with my child's party theme and on top of that, a milestone 5th birthday. I was also only told after ordering and paying that Sunday pickup isn't normally allowed -- forcing me to pick up the cake at 8am the morning of the party. That policy should be disclosed upfront. We had to change plans in order to accomodate this request she unprofessionally sprung onto us. I emailed with photos and respectful feedback and received no response. Not even an acknowledgment. As a business owner, I would have been ashamed of this! The cake tasted fine, but the communication and customer care were terrible. I would not trust this bakery for an important event, ever! Please save yourself the trouble and thank me later ... i would give this review zero stars if I could. read more

I hired them to make me mini cupcakes for my engagemnt party. The cupcakes were all bomb diggity and everyone loved them. Out of all the desserts we had, these ones were the most eaten. They taste good next day too. Mini cupcakes are about 2 bites. Small enough to eat a few. Very tasty. She is very communicative and prices are fair. I would hire again next time I need cupcakes or cake for a party. read more

I found Precious on Yelp and I'm so happy that I did. She outdid herself with my daughter's 4th bday cake and cupcakes. It was absolutely beautiful and everyone wanted to know where I ordered from. I sent Precious a text to inquire about availability and she asked that I email her. I emailed her and the ordering process was pretty quick and simple. Pick up time was set and she had my order ready for me I ordered an 8in My Special Day flavored cake Rapunzel theme, I provided the cake topper. The cake was moist and delicious, nice balance of chocolate and white cake with hazelnut mouse and cream cheese frosting We also ordered 1/2 dz strawberry joy cupcakes and 1/2 orange creamsicle. Those flavors were amazing also. We fought over the last strawberry cupcake. We'll be ordering more in the months to come as bdays roll out. I wanted to send a red velvet cake to a dear friend in California, and I live in Texas. After rooting around online, all roads for "the best cake" kept bringing me back to SugarJones. I called Precious, and she answered my many questions about cake size, what would be right, and how it could be designed. This was within 48 hrs of delivery! She delivered a beautifully designed cake and took an awesome picture of my friend holding the cake and with a huge smile on his face! That was the cherry on top of a fabulous job. My friend texted me later to tell me the cake was so good that he'd already eaten 3 pieces! Precious is a joy to work with. Highly recommend! read more

This is by far one of the best cakes I've had in a long time. I got the strawberry joy in a 5 inch cake for my husband's birthday. Precious was able to make my cake in such a short turn around. I wanted to get my husband a small cake since it is just me and husband and my son. We did a super dad theme cake with a cloud and Superman colors. My husband is a veteran and his birthday is on Veterans Day. We were able to get the cake the day before. Thank you for making this cake, my husband absolutely love it. I am new to the area and had no idea where to begin with getting a cake ordered for my boyfriends birthday. I came across Sugar Jones and I am sooo glad I used her. I did a smaller carrot cake and it was a great experience. I contacted Precious, (Sugar Jones) on a Wednesday, for a cake I needed by Sunday and she did not disappoint- I wanted a Laker themed cake for my son West, 9th Birthday, vanilla confetti flavor. It taste pretty good, whatever the cake was lacking on taste she made up with the presentation. So I can't really complain. This was the most delicious, densely flavored cake I've ever had that was not too sweet. The strawberries actually were real strawberries. And I never was surprised by a chunk of strawberries or their seeds. The print of the photo was so beautiful and exact. I enjoyed the handmaid nature of the cake and its presentation. The buttercream was absolutely perfect, especially after following instructions. My only critique is the box sizes could be a little bigger. Great experience from start to finish. I submitted an email order for a small Sunshine Day cake for my wife's birthday and Precious made us a rainbow tie-dye 3-layer monster of a tower cake. The fruit flavors are subtle and well-mixed, the cream cheese frosting is ultra rich, and the cake itself is a dense, melty bite of goodness. Customer service was great the whole way through, payment was easy, and pickup was a cinch. Definitely coming back this way for my next dessert need. read more

My favorites were the almond and Parisian croissants. They gave some free macarons at the end!

There are pricy parking lots nearby and, with luck, street parking is available. The lot next to the restaurant charged $20 on a Sunday, although we found a spot on a nearby side street. A hint - double check the parking signs before street parking because tickets can be very expensive and tow away is in effect at select spots. Other than parking, Bottega Louie is the place to be.

Sugar Jones!! the Apple cluster is still my favorite but i just recently finally tried the red velvet cup cakes and they are divine!!!! little angels make them in the kitchen with their perfectly soft sweet hands!!
