For me, part of the fun of KBBQ is also eating the meats with the sauces and fresh vegetables, making little bites. However, when the meats are heavily seasoned, the salad came pre-dressed, and the grilled vegetables came pre-salted...that's just too much. we didn't end up using any of the dipping sauces+salt provided and had to drink so much water and ended up ordering some white rice to balance all the salt. I did really like some of the sides we ordered! Highlights were the beef soup+glass noodles, kimchi, and steamed egg. I also didn't love provided with disposable utensils and paper cups. Not only does it downgrades the experience, for a setting that using such high heat... having plastic spoons laying around just doesn't make sense. The servers were all very attentive, nice, and fast. We got there a bit early for dinner and by the time we headed out the place was packed. Seems like a great place for the area but we probably won't be back :/

The otai and the guava cake were decent. The Katsu was cooked well, but lacked crunch. The garlic chicken and kalua pig were so dry and tasted bland. The Mac salad lacked flavor also, the sapa sui was just okay. Overall, just super disappointed in the food. We've heard about them through reels claiming they were really good. We always try to support local, especially the poly community here in Utah but our experience just wasn't the greatest. They claim to be serving "island love" but we just didn't feel it, if you decide to try them, hopefully you have a better experience.

When placing an order, the Inquiry was a simple process and was able to put in cost per person, a budget and able to give an idea of what i was wanting to order. After placing the order, I quickly got a call from the owner Mr, Murphy himself and he was super helpful and was able to work with us to fulfill our order. Some of the best service over the phone to help us. And then the food itself, amazing. The guys who picked up the order said they waited as long as they could before we arrived to stsrt making our order to make sure it was all hot and fresh. Two dishes we ordered were unavailable -- and we only found out after waiting another 20-30 minutes and watching tables seated after us get their food first. No manager was available, just a "server assistant" who couldn't do much. By the time we left, it was 2:00 PM. We'd been there over an hour with no food and nonstop confusion. A nearby table mentioned slow service too, so clearly this wasn't just us.
