1:00 p.m. Sunday - 2 people 1. Ambiance: Spacious, bright, and friendly staffs create a welcoming environment for this espresso bar. I love the easy chill coffee shop music they play overhead. The window brings in an abundance of light, which creates a wonderful environment to study or have a nice coffee date. In addition to couches, chairs and tables, they even have a papasan chair and cushion by the window for your comfort if you want to read a book or just hang out. I loved the environment here. 2. Food: I ordered their caffe latte and it was definitely better than Starbucks. It smells very aromatic, not bitter like my other coffee drinks that I get from Starbucks, and came in a really good glass size portion. I asked one of the staffs, Mimi, to create a pretty design for my latte and she happily complied. It was absolutely delicious and smelled wonderful. 3. Service: There were three staffs behind the counter and were all really nice with great customer service. The process of ordering and checking out were very quick and easy. They were patient, made me feel very welcome, and answered all of my questions, since it was my first time. 4. Costs: I was shocked at the quality of the coffee compared to their price. It is so affordable and not overly excessive in costs as other coffee shops like Starbucks. My cup of coffee was definitely cheaper than a lot of coffee places and the quality was better, which is great on the consumers' end! 5. Overall Experience: If you want fresh, good quality, aromatic coffee with affordable prices, this is it. The service was fantastic and the environment was so welcoming. I really enjoyed my coffee break and my cup of latte. Five stars for this espresso bar. Side Notes: This place is definitely a gem inside a church. There is a small sign outside of the location, but once you enter the door, It's to your left and up the stairs. There are signs everywhere, so you cannot miss it. read more

Super cute coffee shop. I got a hot caramel macchiato and it was very good and pretty. They have a beautiful seating area and a outside seating area as well. The barista was very friendly and recommended that I get that coffee. Looking forward to visiting again! read more

I have been going to cuppa at Irving Bible church for years now! I love the seating they have and it's always quiet. Coffee is decent and the staff while most of the time is quiet and keeps to themselves. They are kind and helpful and patient when I can't figure out what I want to drink . I love cuppa! read more

A coffee shop in a church?! What kind of idea is this? Genius I tell you, genius. I have been here so many times that regardless of why I order, everything is good. I've had their lattes and Carmel macchiato. My brother in law loves their frozen hot chocolate. But what I love most about Cuppa is the environment it creates. I absolutely love coming here to study. There's not many coffee shops, that are quiet, opened on a Sunday for pretty much the entire day. On the Sunday's that I needed to get some extra reading in or type that paper, Cuppa has been my go to place. There's comfortable seating and ample room. Love love coming here! read more

My all time favorite cafe in Irving! It's a great place to study. The church is spacious with many different kinds of seats and it's quite here. Good but not really good enough. I only judge against espresso shots so Starbucks is a 1 star so this is slightly better. Service is good but espresso could be better. Just milk it up to mask the espresso. read more

I really like studying here! There are so many places to sit and there's so much natural lighting because of the tall windows! Admittedly because it's in the same building as a church sometimes I heard kids running around playing games but it was very brief. The service was also good. I had a lot of questions about the drinks and they were so patient with me and tried to work with my tastes! in the end, I decided to go with the Vietnamese coffee and it was pretty authentic! I learned that the owners are Viet so that's probably why haha! read more

I LOVED COMING HERE TO STUDY. I was here for almost 6-7 hours, doing some studying for finals. This little coffee shop is located inside Irving Bible Church, and the people working the coffee shop were so sweet and friendly. You go through the front door, and there is a set of stairs to the left which leads to Cuppa. Cuppa takes up a majority of the second floor with a mix of tables, chairs, sofas, cozy chairs, and etc. There was free WIFI & lots of outlets & plenty of space. I moved around a couple of times while I was there to get comfy. The windows are huge and tall & it brought in so much light during the day. I ordered a Thai tea & later when I got hungry, I ordered a sausage biscuit & a muffin. & I have to say that the Thai tea was one of the best I have ever had in my life, so I'm sure all the other drinks are good too. You can bring your own food as well, because they had a microwave free to use. There was also water to grab and drink too. Inside of a giant church, it's a great place to hang out, study and relax. They were out of matcha when I went so I tried the chai. Even though I asked for not sweetened, the brand they use is way too sweet. The large is a good size, but way too sweet for my taste. read more

A great place to hangout with friends.. it's too spacious and comfy area which is perfect if u need a place to study or work from. The staffs r very friendly and even though the they stop serving at 7 u can hangout there with friend till late. There were a lot of varieties of coffees available and the taste was good (I have been to cafes with lot better coffee though). Overall a nice place to spend time! read more

Stopped by for a quick cup of coffee when I was in the area and when I got there I wished I could stay for half a day instead! Warm and welcoming with lots of light. So many different seating options and areas including outside. I could myself working from there or even better enjoying a nice long conversation with a friend or two. I've been coming to Cuppa for years. It's inside Irving Bible Church...yes, a church...don't let that be weird. Firstly IBC is probably the friendliest and most welcoming church around, secondly the coffee bar doesn't feel like a church. Always friendly service, though there's rarely more than one employee so it may not be too quick if there's a small rush. Great variety of drinks, everything I've had has been excellent. They are always ready and happy to make recommendations or give you unbiased reviews of their menu. I'm always asking if espresso drinks are too sweet! They are creative with their flavors and they turn out well. read more

Absolutely loved this place! After moving back to irving earlier this year I've been jumping from coffee shop to coffee shop trying to find something different with a positive and motivating vibe, and boy have I found it! Walked in for the first time to a well lit and spacious area, greeted with a big smile from the barista who answered all my questions and gave me a recommendation on what to order. I ended up getting the Nutella frappe and it was delicious. I regret not taking any pictures just because I was so happy to find this place. Needless to say I will be back very soon! This place is dirty!!! There are gnat traps all over the counters which means that they clearly have a bug problem. I've seen a gnat or two in the container where they keep the cookies and cakes which is absolutely disgusting. It's fun to watch the baristas make drinks until you really think about what is going on. Whenever they make my drink, they use a gallon of milk that was already out on the counter (for who knows how long....it should be in the fridge!). They also use a dirty-looking rag to wipe down both the steamer and the counter. I am surprised no one has gotten sick. read more

One of my go-to places when looking for a place to study. Major advantages here is that it is spacious and good variety of tables available with ample parking. It is inside the Irving Bible Church on the 2nd floor. Baristas are very friendly and are efficient. Drink quality is above-average. They have your typical selection of lattes, cappuccinos, etc. but also have some more interesting items. I have enjoyed their vietnamese iced coffee and shaken iced breve lattes. They also sell muffins and breakfast sandwiches but they are store-bought. It is usually not too crowded so overall, I like coming here for a consistently comfortable experience for working. read more

This is one of my go-to places to study. The area is very spacious and filled with windows, which let in natural lighting. Atmosphere: the cafe is located inside Irving Bible Church, which provides a nice and clean atmosphere to get work done. There are numerous places to sit and not just the cafe area - since it's inside a church, there are other available seats a bit further away from the cafe. There is also an outside patio with lots of seating there as well. The music here is not overwhelming loud. Drinks: their drinks here are cheap and amazing. If you check into their location on Yelp, you can get a free drip coffee (which is what I always get when I come here). The lady up front is so kind and bright - she recommends different coffee every time I come here. The coffee does not have that strong and bitter taste as other cafes do. read more

This is my kind of espresso bar. I had the honey latte while my friend ordered a macchiato. I think where this place can grow is to expand some of their offerings, such as making flat whites or having more of a variety of specialty lattes. But, the WiFi was reliable and the customer service was fast and friendly. This location is inside a building and shared space with a Church, which can be confusing if you come here for the first time. read more

This place is perfect for quiet time, studying, and great coffee. Surprisingly located in the bible church Cuppa Espresso Bar shares an entire floor. Seriously, the place is huge and has a variety of seating from bars, to large tables, and lounges. Everything is spaced out and there is plenty of room and privacy which is perfect for studying. The coffee was also great, I got the Vietnamese iced coffee and it gave me the kick I needed to tutor. Will have to come back again! read more

Let be begin by saying that this location is inside a church. I was thrown off at first by the location since I did not expect to be inside a church rather beside it. The environment is like a warehouse because everything sort of echoes, but the facility itself is beautiful and well decorated. The main entrance was well put and what most would say "cute." The service was very sincere and kind. They are probably so much more helpful than most baristas I have ever met. Walking around, the scene of church environment is dominant and I respect that deeply. Even with a coffee setting you are reminded of how the beautiful art of Christianity towers the normal size human. The study is very studious and even though it echoes, the environment can get very focused. So imagine Starbucks but 10x better in all aspects. The drinks are super amazing. Most places do not compare to this locations. If you do not like it, try it and please respond on how y'all felt. read more

LOVE LOVE their coffee. Interesting location since it's located inside a church. Ample parking and easy to get to. My favorite is the Honey Latte, iced or hot. I've ordered it both ways and both are good. Coffee isn't burnt tasty, slightly sweetened, and super smooth. Decently busy place. Slightly overpriced but that's okay! They seem to have holiday or "flavors of the month" often. I did try their lavender latte which wasn't my favorite, but I did come to the conclusion that I don't like anything lavender flavor. It took me a minute to find and once I did, I didn't know how I'd feel studying in a church. But, I was quickly engulfed by a sense of peace and comfort. Not only is the coffee reasonably priced and tasty, but the service is delightful and the space is amazing. I almost hate writing this review as I love the peaceful work I get done there on a weekly basis and don't want it to become an overcrowded overworked environment. However I have to give credit where it is due. This spacious coffee shop is nestled inside of a church, it is spacious, friendly and a great place to relax with friends, cozy up to a nice book or bear down on some work while enjoying some of their delicious coffee and tea. This place houses a very friendly staff and it is hardly ever so busy you can't find a comfortable place to get involved in whatever you are trying to get done. It could use a few more user friendly outlets for charging but they are always willing to accommodate an extra extension cord or someone is willing to share their table. Outside seating on the balcony overlooking a small pond is also really nice on a day like today. I live a few blocks away but come here to get work done while I enjoy a mocha or cup of tea, and every time I do I am more productive and happier at the end of the day. Keep up the good work Cuppa fam, you are my favorite place to be when I have to get something done. read more

Great coffee place located inside the Irving Church. Family owned and operated, very chic and hip feel to the decor. Decent amount of tables for groups to hangout or talk or for students to study or people to work on their lap tops. Wifi access. Comfortable chairs and sofas. Went two days in a row actually. Got the Honey Latte which is now my wife's new favorite drink. Very smooth, not too sweet, easy to gulp down. Second time tried the mango iced tea and the lavender vanilla latte, also very good but I wasn't a huge fan of the lavender aftertaste. honey Latte still reigns. Next time I'll try either the Nutella latte or the Vietnamese iced coffee, both of which seem to be very popular. read more

As others have said, this place is truly a hidden gem and I want to thank yelp for helping me discover this place. The coffee shop is part of a Church and is particularly spacious. Unlike other coffee shops there are plenty of tables and the lighting is great. For once I didn't feel cramped up in a coffee shop. It's a wonderful study spot and there are outlets available to use. I ordered an Iced Hazelnut French Vanilla Latte and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here! read more

Ok this place was a little bit difficult to find at first!! But don't let that stop you from actually finding it because most likely you're just a few more steps until you're there. When you get there it's a whole new world, the initial frustration of "where is it?!???" Dissipates and all of the sudden you're relieved and happy because you've just entered this place and all you want to do is look around. Of course I had to ask the barista if I can look around, they kindly said of course and told me it was a church. A church? That's interesting. But of course something like this in Irving had to be sought out. I ordered a Iced Americano with Cinnamon and Vanilla and a splash of cream, it was perfect. Cuppa is located at the second floor inside the house of worship, Irving Bible Church. It is a huge place, obviously established to serve the patrons of the Church, however, anyone can go and enjoy their drinks. The hall and kid's play area, all part of IBC, is huge with various options of seating ranging from work desk/chairs to lounge/sofa. It also has a huge patio that has a staircase leading downstairs. Tried their house coffee, it was just OK. They do have wide selection of cold and hot beverages and some bakery items.
