Seating close to cuppa

I wanted to add photos to my review of the inside. There's so much space. I love this spot.

Nice establishment good for work or studying. Plenty of seating, they even have seating outside for when it's warm. Overall price for food and drinks are a plus and they are good.

Latte..... :(

ok I told myself I had to write a review here.... and I dont usually write reviews but I have to in this case. So, horrible experience.... Not only was my experience bad but I'm legit concerned about customers going here now.... To summarize: A) This was the WORST coffee and food I have ever had at ANY coffee shop I've been to in my LIFE. And I'm not even exaggerating. I got a latte, and it was wayyyy too hot, just foamy, tasted burnt. Ok strike one, bad but eh... Then they replaced it with a drink, a smoothie, which was somehow even worse. And even worse, I ordered a croissant with the replaced drink and this thing was DISGUSTING (upset with myself for not getting a picture of that one)... it had probably a half cup or more of "goop", which is the best I can describe it, slathered all over the inside. The croissant itself was lukewarm and soggy. The goop looked like raw dough but it was a weird mixture of sugar and something else, but it was absolutely gross. B) the manager was very rude. When I went back to return the coffee and unfortunately (or fortunately) I didn't get to know her name, but she was a short lady with dark glasses, had an extremely sour attitude and was bizarrely passive aggressive. As I was trying to explain she was like, "so you didn't like it huh" while staring at me and talking in a passive aggressive manner. When I came back to ask for a refund for the replacement drink and the croissant, she was even more passive aggressive. I said "I have no idea what this is" (pointing at disturbing goop) and also told her "this smoothie is wayyyyy too sweet", and she got weirdly passive aggressive again saying "not your thing huh????" Anyways, it was bizarro. C) Ok, so about the smoothie.... this thing had what seemed like 50 pumps of whatever the heck "mango" sh*t they put in it. I'm not joking when I say it was the MOST sugary thing I think I ever tasted in my life. It made me and my friend gag on just one sip. So either whoever made this did it spitefully because I returned the coffee (????) or if this is really what they serve people I have no idea how they're in business. The only saving grace at this "christian" coffee shop was they gave me a refund.

the hallway

They serve one of my favorite Lavender Matchas! The space is also AMAZING. good seating and aesthetic, and great service. if you walk down the hallway there's beautiful art, it's like a mini museum. and the best part- if you have kids like me, you can bring them to the indoor playground down the hall, and sit along the side enjoying your caffeine and a book while your kids get all their energy out. they also have a playground outside too. Just a wonderful establishment overall

What a pleasant surprise! I stopped here on my way to the office on Friday and was thoroughly pleased by the service and drink selection. I ordered a ube matcha latte which was delicious and not too sweet. They have a variety of sweet treats to choose from at the counter. They all look absolutely delicious! Their prices are super fair and they even have a $3 special on Fridays where any drink any size is only $3! The space itself is clean and open with plenty of seating. I highly recommend you give this place a try.

I LOVE everything about Cuppa. The drink menu is great, employees are kind and it's just such a nice quiet calm place to be in. I especially love their rewards program and their $3.75 Fridays. The only thing I'd ask Cuppa to change is their smoothie as it tasted more like a popsicle. Otherwise everything else is great!

Located inside a church, this cute modern coffee shop was a good spot. As a Seattle local, it is tough to find good coffee when I'm on the road and missing home. The gal at the counter was friendly and polite, although she was working by herself so I would plan for a few extra minutes in case there's back to back orders. I got an iced caramel macchiato and an iced matcha with ube cold foam. The caramel macchiato was great! Not the strongest espresso I've had but really nice flavor profile, almost a marshmallow taste. The matcha was also good, the ube cream was pretty but the flavor wasn't very noticeable. I also picked up one of their cute stickers, because at $1.50 who could resist!

The coffee and other drinks available are pretty decent. Even the available food options are just typical, nothing to write home about. The biggest thing Cuppa Espresso bar has going on here, is the huge dining area. The sitting area is huge and they offer free WiFi, so nobody's in a rush to leave and it's quite comfortable.

Cuppa Joy Latte and Fireside Latte
Raymond M.

Fireside and Cuppa Joy latte were rich and flavorful. The establishment is located inside the church on the second floor. Plenty of parking. Great customer service. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Definitely a church.

I wasn't expecting it, although I probably should have... it's that 'ol' Texas classic, a church coffee shop. The oversized murals of suffering Jesus were a bit much! If it weren't for that, you could easily mistake this for a "normal" coffee shop. I liked the drinks menu - I tried a lavender latte. They had pastries on offer as well as coffee shop themed merch. There's very spacious seating area - ideal for large group meetings. Friendly baristas with perfectly manicured nails quickly and efficiently answered all my questions. This shop is a little out of my way and I prefer a cozier vibe, but you could do worse, I suppose.

Iced Americano

If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars I would! I love this place. The staff is always super friendly. The coffee is sooo good! I come here way too much but it's the best americano I've had!

Ube Foam Matcha
Niraja S.

Their drinks are only $3 on Fridays! I loved the ube flavor but I wish the matcha was a little less milky. Located on the second floor of a church, the coffee shop is also very spacious and perfect for working or studying. Service is great - the workers really try to provide input on what drink you'd like best based on your preferences

Great place to come to work/study because of the free wifi and ample tables! I was not a fan of the matcha here before but the Vietnamese coffee is really good. (Also the Medium Vietnamese coffee has 4 shots of espresso for those curious)

I went with a Biscoff latte and asked for it less sweet, and they got it just right. You still get that Biscoff flavor, but it is not over the top, which I appreciated. It's a beautiful spot with coffee to match. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - Walk inside and you'll be treated to a beautiful, cozy coffee shop. The bright white walls are accented by blue comfortable chairs and gold lettering. There are locally sourced pastries behind glass, and Middle Eastern themed lighting hanging from above. 1 Star. Service - Port Coffee continues the trend of ordering through a kiosk when they are busy. On both visits, I wanted to order from a human so I could learn more about their concept, but on both visits, I was directed to a kiosk. Also, I ordered "for here" so I could get pretty latte art, but they made my cappuccino "To go" and I had no art. No Stars. Coffee - Given the lack of service, I came back two days in a row. Why? Because the coffee is pretty darn good. They serve your standard espressos and lattes, but I tried their Iced Mufuwar. This delicious drink was dark roast mixed with milk, cardamine, and some sweetness. That combination made me a believer. The cardamine added a light, fragrant flavor (hints of ginger) with just enough sweetness (you can choose your level). It was smooth, refreshing, and a perfect pit stop during my morning walk. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. The coffee was so good I came two days in a row. The (lack of) service did not prevent me from trying their delicious coffee. I'll be back to try a pastry. 1 Star.

The outdoor patio consists of just a couple of tables on the sidewalk, which can make it difficult if you're visiting alone with your dog, as there's no shaded or cooled seating outside while you go in to order. And inside it's not dog friendly. Inside, the décor presents a mix of tables and chairs that matches the French café atmosphere. The menu focuses mainly on French pastries. Prices are on the higher side, so I was hoping for a bit more in terms of quality. I tried the six mini croissants (around $7), which were good but tasted slightly stale. The crab pastry was the highlight--fresh, flavorful, and something I'd happily order again. I also tried the Nutella-filled sugar doughnut, which was a bit disappointing. The filling was quite runny and tasted more diluted than rich, lacking the distinctive hazelnut thick flavor you'd expect. I was looking forward to eating a croissant today, but this place didn't quite have what I was expecting

Trung Nguyen - Old Denton Rd (Carrollton)…read more This might be the best coffee I've ever tasted in DFW area I've visited this location three different times. After tasting for the very first time their, Black Phin Coffee (Ca Phe Den), I was truly craving more. BLACK PHIN: It's kind of difficult to describe what kind of flavor it is and what makes this particular Vietnamese coffee blend so unique. I usually prefer hot coffee. When you first get it, it offers a sweet aroma, like notes of condensed milk. But, it's not sweet flavored. Unless you prefer cream and sugar in your coffee. With every sip it becomes more and more uniquely flavorful. It offers a bold flavor for your taste buds. I typically can drink up to two 12oz cups, but even then I don't finish the entire cup. This one, I can finish the entire cup and crave more. ATMOSPHERE: The space is cozy and small. It stays busy throughout the day. It offers limited seating with a unique layout. You will find a few tables with chairs to the left of the entrance. Three open cubbyholes with tables and chairs, on the right side. The middle cubbyhole has a beautiful wooden world map. They have a small waiting area in the corner. This corner offers large wooden shelves full of unique merchandise for all your coffee needs. The shelves look like they've been thoughtfully designed and look elegant without overcrowding the space. SERVICE: All three times I've visited the service has been welcoming, efficient and the order made right. Even if your order is not to your satisfaction, they'll gladly remake it for you. The staff were friendly and helpful if you're new to Vietnamese coffee culture. PARKING: Extremely difficult to get a parking spot here. Be sure to plan your visit accordingly. You can drop your car buddy off and circle around a few times. OVERALL: All three times I visited, my hot Black Phin had exact same consistency as the first sip. Next time I visit DFW area, this is a must stop for me. I highly recommend you give them a try. They offer great menu variety of drinks and food options. They do offer complimentary Wi-Fi, if you need to stay inside, get work done or just catch up with your friends and family.

The egg cream coffee was great, the egg cream complemented the strong taste of Viet coffee. The coconut matcha cloud was a little underwhelming. I would try the other speciality phin coffees next time and skip the coconut matcha cloud. Overall, I would recommend if you want some Viet coffee and are in the area.
