A warm tortilla with butter, a staple before you even order. SO tasty
    David D.

The service here is impeccable! The ambiance is set when one arrives and is served a warm, buttered, corn tortilla- delicious. My food (see the picture) was tasty and the salsas had enough heat (a nice improvement). I will be back

Great friendly service. I like ordering their caldo de rez and getting their chicken enchiladas. The tortillas are made in house and are so fluffy and so good! Service is always on point!

It's my go to when craving some Mexican dishes. Love the complimentary corn tortilla with butter.

I came here for lunch and it was so good. They give you chips with 2 salsas. They serve breakfast all day! What a plus! I got the chilaquiles with chorizo. It was delicious. The refried beans were also so good. I usually add salsa to my beans but didn't have to this time. My friend got tacos which looked good. Can't wait to go back. I came here during my lunch break and they were fast. Our waitress kept checking on us which was nice.

    Wait staff.

Friendly service, ordered lengua tacos and they were tasteless. They did have freshly made tortillas that were yummy.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

I got a potato and scrambled egg taco, a ham and scrambled egg taco, and a chorizo and scrambled egg taco. The potato and the ham ones were good, although the chorizo wasn't my favorite. It was pretty early so I obviously went breakfast with my choices, but they had a variety of options ranging from barbacoa to chicken. Their creamy hot sauce was really good, although the red sauce was too thin for my taste. I'll be back again to try some of the non-breakfast tacos. Complimentary champagne, and AMAZING service from our waitress. I've literally never had a server with such extensive knowledge of a restaurant's menu. Very impressive! We also had a amazing experience with the manager. We needed some accommodations for our table and he was so thoughtful. He even provided us with a complimentary cuatro leches cake slice! (which was HUGE btw). While the service was exponentially excellent, the food was...good. The menu was what I would describe as "elevated Mexican" with some other Latin-inspired steakhouse dishes (think filet mignon with some salsa on the side) Everything was good, but nothing really stood out for me. There was a 45-minute wait, due to how many people were crammed into downtown, trying to find places to eat. I had wanted to come here for a while, and suggested coming here to my girlfriend, who admittedly, "doesn't like Tex-Mex" (I know, I know), and after encouraging her to give it a try, we were pleasantly treated to some very high quality food in a nice environment. Despite being woefully understaffed, to the point that they were out of bowls for the salsa and started serving it in to-go containers, the staff was friendly and helpful, with the manager still making the rounds to introduce himself and check on people's experiences. I really liked the chips & salsa, and so did my girlfriend who is very spice sensitive. We had the, "Julio's Tilapia", which was, "Pan-seared tilapia topped with fresh sautéed baby spinach and jumbo grilled shrimp, finished with a silky spicy chipotle cream sauce. Served with rice and a crisp side salad." and the "GUIS-Ohhhhhh!", which was, "Traditional Mexican beef stew. Served with avocado slices, tomatoes, lettuce, & tortillas". The food was delicious, and I really thought the jumbo shrimp was great, and the Guisoooo (carne guisada) was deeply flavored, and very rich in a way I haven't had before. My girlfriend made sure to flag down the manager to point out what an exceptional meal she thought it was, and mentioned several times how blown away she was, and I quote her as saying, "I was expecting one thing, but I did not expect a foodie experience!". We sat at the bar area, which while not large, has taller tables which is helpful for me. The restaurant handled the huge volume of people well, and the food quality was great. I will return whenever an opportunity presents itself
