My mom and I went here to look for a new sofa set, as our previous one was old and needed replacing. Noamy Guzman was very friendly when we walked in and asked if we needed any help; she was ready to help at any given moment. We found a sofa set we were interested in and found Noamy, but turns out the sofa set that we wanted (which was on display!) was no longer in the system. We were obviously disappointed, but Noamy did everything in her power to find us a similar sofa set. We came here because they had the Samsung front loader washer that we were needing to replace because after four years the hard desert water destroyed the drum in our current Samsung front loader washer. The store is quite big & had a lot of specials going on which was a good sign because the Samsung washer that we needed was marked down to $829, in black with champagne detail. We were so happy because the color combination is quite pretty & it'll go perfect with the champagne Samsung front load washer that we have. Coming here you'll realize there may be a language barrier because several of the workers don't speak much English but no worries! When I approached the sales lady in the appliance department & she realized I didn't speak Spanish she then got another sales lady that was bilingual, it took just a little longer with the language barrier but as long as we were all patient we ended up with our washer & Curacao made a sale! Overall everything went smoothly with our purchase thanks to the two sales ladies that helped us! Being that we're from South Florida & very familiar with certain language barriers it didn't deter us away from making our purchase from Curacao. I purchased a bedroom set from here and in 3 years the drawers have chipped and the bed frame has broken and that's with me taking very good care of it also considering it cost me more then $1000. I came in for help or information and was treated rudely and unprofessionally, I even waited 20 mins to be helped by somebody because there was no employees to be found. Employees also lied about warranty information and couldn't even give me options on how to fix the cheap furniture they sold me. I had my employee go in to pick up an order today around 1pm there were two women there. One with a green shirt and another wearing a blazer neither of which had a name badge. She went in and received the worst service at the pick up center. As she walked up the the one in the green shirt said in Spanish " no le voy ayudar a esta pinche nopalera que no habla español" which translates to "im not helping this fucking Mexican who doesn't speak Spanish". #1 you are paid to help ANYONE who walks through those doors REGARDLESS of what personal reservations you may have. This employee deserves to be terminated immediately and the one who allowed her to say that without saying anything needs to be disciplined. Covid 19 no doubt impacted everyone and is impacting everyone. Majority of places are now closed due to it except essential places. Curacao stayed open due to being considered essential but place restrictions to comply with social distancing regulations . Unfortunately that's where the problem begins when a company can't even creat a system in place to fallow social distancing there for should be closed instead. I went to make a return to the store and purchase an item after. They where not allowing anyone inside the store unless accompanied with someone. At no time are you allow to walk the store on your own therefore your being escorted everywhere. This time isn't bad at all but... Unfortunately you have a company that can't sustain the demand and therefore have you waiting in line hours to enter the store. Ones I'm the store you still have to wait an other half an hour to be escorted by an other person to the section you want to explore! Lack of employees makes this a very irritating process as there is no way to keep track of who's next so your waiting endless amount of time only to be skipped! Very disappointed!! I'm this case might as well close the store because the negative reviews and experience that it will creat will impact their brand in the long run !!! I would give them ZERO starts if I could! This store and their "extended warranty" is probably one of the shittiest you can find. A month and a half ago our washing machine was making a lot of noise. My husband and I went to curacao to purchase a laptop when this lady told us we could get a curacao card and get it without having to pay any interest fees nor surprise fees I made my first payment on the account and it turns out the lady had signed me up for a credit shield that I didn't even know of and was added interest fees when she advised me there would be no fees at all on the card nor the store I thought it was to go to be true and My husband triple checked with her and she said she insisted on being correct little or less my husband is making calls and every time a Juan ext 9033 then an ext 8033 are telling my husband "it's not her fault it's your fault you knew what you were buying dumbass I mean mr Daniel " (in Spanish) hablo español and I insisted on him transferring me to someone that speaks English and he said "no you're going to pay back what you owe no questions asked you have a problem go find the girl at the store " hangs up I called the 623 number another Juan answered then Manuel and all they kept saying is "in this situation you would just need to pay the balance off and next time read the contract " keep in mind I was told "sign here stating you'll pay the things back and activate your card and boom your set that's all you have to do" one of them informed me i had a credit shield applied onto the card and "the girls usually just add it without telling you because they get commission for it they sweet talk and flirt with guys so they distract them and sound like they're being fully honest" this company is a complete fraud man! I visited the store on January 24th around 7:30 pm. I needed to purchase a water dispenser. I felt ignored, lots of employees but no one approached to ask if we needed help. I walk towards an employee that was across from the department where they have speakers. He was on the furniture side. As he sees me walk towards him, he decides to gran his blue water cup and takes a sip... I said "excuse me sir" He literally raised his eyebrows still drinking water. I waiting for him to finish. He said "yes?" I said " Could you please help me? I need to purchase a water dispenser with my credit..." He replied " cash registers are on the other side" I simply smile and said thanks. I receive a email from my credit karma saying Curacao closed my account because I actually paid my amount before. Because I didn't do no payments on it no more in decided to paid the full amount they closed my account and my credit score went down because of that. Well that's bushit they should be glad that I actually paid for my stuff; but since there not collecting the interest no more their mad. I call customer service and they told me that the reason they closed my account was because I had an installment payment agreement in since I paid the full amount they had to closed WTF they never told me it was an installment account. First of all I bought a bar from them they supposed to drop it off at my house the next day guess what they never did they broke my shit they didn't even call me to let me know what happen. I went to the store the next day, they didn't even know what was going on into they call the deliveries guys and they finally told them what happen.. they ended up selling me the display one in I was ok with that.. so now that I paid for the bar they pull this shit, of closing my account because I paid it before. I will never buy from them again....I will all call the news about this and I will send a letter to corporate.
