I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza here. I've lived right around the corner from this pizza joint for two years and didn't know it existed until I looked on yelp. I decided to support some local biz and pop in on a Friday night for a slice to go. Inside, is a cross between a convenience shop/deli. It took a lot of self control to not buy some scratchers while waiting for my pizza. Amongst the pizza and scratchers, I noticed they also offered burgers and sandwiches. I wouldn't really recommend dining in, the place has limited seating and extremely warm inside (no AC, only fans.) Unfortunately, they only had plain for individual slices left. I normally like some type of topping on my pizza but decided to just go with it. You can't really beat two slices for $3. The pizza itself was a good size, had a nice crunch to it, and wasn't too doughy. When I was a young boy, Mr. Curioni was the coach of my 8th grade basketball team. He was a nice guy then, and he's continued that fine approach at life up to now. The pizza at his pizzeria was always my favorite and his shop is a neighborhood favorite. Curioni's has been family-run and owned since 1923. The pizza is good but the Sicilian is better. There are only 8 stools in the entire pizzeria. This isn't a place where you can take a large group. But it's never busy enough to where you won't find a place to sit. Tried this place tonight and just finished eating. I ordered a mushroom regular pie. I usually go for Sicilian regardless but decided to give the flat pizza a go- absolutely amazing. Delivery guy kept a ton of pizza he was delivering in a hot box and there must of been tons! NO WONDER. Can't believe I didn't try this place sooner. Walts pizza is the best I ever had. I go there 2 to 3 times a day, great coffee and Ryan makes the best breakfast in town. But the veggie pizza is by far the best they make and they make a lot. You definitely get your money's worth here. Walt is got to be by far the nicest man I know. Him and his son Ryan always have a smile on there face, just all around great people. This is a great family run local business! They have been open for YEARS. I went here multiple times when I was younger and I even live a 2 minute walk from here now. My boyfriend and his family also order from here many times and even one time for a graduation party. The pizza is pretty good here. The cheese is really good. However, I'm big with the taste of the sauce on pizza and it has an interesting taste to me. However, it still is a good pizza. The slices they give are huge and always warmed up to perfection. I've also had the french toast here. Every time I've ordered it, it was a bit soggy but it still tastes fine. The Sicilian is the best pizza here! You won't regret getting it from here! They also use fresh ingredients and you can see the whole process as they make everything out in the open for you to see. This place is great to come here for a quick bite or sit and chat a bit sitting at the counter stools. The family/owners are extremely friendly and make you feel at home. I absolutely love the atmosphere when I walk in. Be aware though that this is right behind the elementary school. So, if you plan on coming during peak school hours, it can get extremely busy and difficult to park here. But overall, this is definitely a great local pizza place! read more

YAY Delicious well made and I did I say DELICIOUS... Old school pizza... And the staff is wonderful too.. Amazing! We're new to the area and looking for a good authentic pizza place. We've tried a few others on the HH blvd and have been satisfied but this is our new favorite place! Not only was the pizza delicious it was a bargain compared to the other places we tried. The sauce was fresh and homemade! We went here to see how the pizza would taste mainly and it was great. Not the best around but one of the best. Little mad they don't deliver out of Lodi. It looked nice in the place and the people were extremely nice and you can tell that they want to go to work here. My food was around 25 dollars. That is pretty good for a Sicilian pie, 2 pizza slices, and a eggplant parm. Lodi's best hidden gem. This place is like 1957, fountain shop vibe with the stools and everything, very cool.Friends kept tellin me go, go, go. So i did. Pizza is like sex. Even when it's bad, it's still good. Having said that, I moved to Lodi a few years ago and I tried it simply cuz my wife and her sisters had nice things to say. It's right by a school so I'm sure that the people that used to go here for lunch as kids like going back for that nostalgic vibe. There are a handful of places very close by that are MUCH better, like Napoli or Hasbrouck Heights Pizzeria. This place is right up the block from us so we decided to try it out since we've read some good reviews from this spot.. we just got a pie (half sausage half pepperoni) and we devoured it.
