By far my favorite place to go for lunch! For less than $10.00 you get enough food for lunch and dinner! I have had the curry chicken and the butter chicken both fabulous! With the lunch special you also get a side veggie, daal and naan bread. My favorite side veggie is the aloo gobi (cauliflower and potato) Lunch time here is always packed full and the staff are all extremely nice and welcoming. They also have a small store inside which sells Indian food items. Great food! I only wish they had a location by my house! read more

Stopped by here for dinner while driving through town. We were a group of 6 and ordered a few things. The samosas were average. They tasted quite similar to the frozen Deep samosas. Not bad but not great either. We then got a few curries and naans: Rogan Josh - The lamb was really tender and the curry tasted nice. I would recommend this Kadhai Chicken - The chicken was overcooked and the curry was drab. I would not get this again. Shahi Paneer - It was way too rich and sweet for my liking. I know that it's supposed to be a rich dish but this was, like most Indian restaurants in the US, an overkill. Malai Kofta - The koftas themselves were very dry and seemed like they had either been frozen or re-heated multiple times. The curry was really sweet and too rich and thick to really enjoy. Garlic Naan, Paratha, Chapati - These were all really small for the price. Also they were inconsistently cooked with some parts still doughy. Overall the food was just about average, the service was really great and the Punjabi lady was extremely friendly, the prices were high considering the small portions, especially of the breads. I don't think I would stop here again or recommend this place to people. read more

What an amazing find! Located in an unassuming strip mall in Lacey, this place produces amazing Indian food. We ordered the lamb vindaloo, lamb korma, palak paneer and butter chicken. All four were excellent, though the butter chicken was a tad sweeter than I prefer. Also, their sweet lassi is pink. Not completely sure what gives it it's pink color, though I gather it may be a fruit concentrate. It did taste slightly more berry than in used to, though that could have been simply because the color made me expect it to taste that way. It was delicious either way. read more

My friend likes to take me here and it's mainly cool as mess because they sell some good pantry food inside the restaurant on the way out. Yeah. It's true. You like curry? You like spicey curry? How about some award winning curry? There is a reason people have decorated their walls with banners of notoriety. The chai made me full it's so tasty. I make annoying sounds when I'm scraping the food into a Togo box because I don't like leaving a grain of rice behind. What's funny about this place is the location. You know? It's a gentle restaurant, it's not in your face. Telling you what to do with your belly. You walk in, the people working there greet you with a warm smile. Top notch Indian food! I arrived just before a small rush of customers & I was able to get a table. A small restaurant with packaged goods alongside one wall, about a dozen tables TOTAL and that's it! I admit it: I was overwhelmed by the menu - and the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen! I was trying to figure-out what the other diners were having around me - when a customer asked if he could help me - DAMN, I got caught! He (and his two dining companions) asked what I liked - and then, speaking Indian amongst themselves - made a suggestion. I ordered what they suggested....and I could not have asked for more! It was a wonderfully aromatic, smoked eggplant dish over rice, with a side of naan bread. Delicious! I thanked "the guys" as they were leaving, and they were pleased at how much I enjoyed the meal. We have stopped here multiple times for their weekday lunch specials, which are very good to excellent. The place is too small for a buffet, so they have lunch specials instead. There are five choices, one is lamb curry, one is two vegetable dishes and the other three are chicken, chicken curry, chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. They all come on a metal thali plate, with a vegetable dish of your choice, dal, rice, a small Western style salad and dessert (kheer this day). They also bring naan to the table. This time my wife had Butter Chicken and had Palak Paneer as her vegetable. I had Chicken Tikka Masala with Korma as my vegetable. The food was very good to excellent and for me, the Korma was the stand out. I also had chai and they refilled my cup when it ran empty. Service is good, but not great. What a lovely restaurant. I treat Indian food very much the same way I treat Mexican food. With a lot of caution. You can never be too sure the edibles aren't going to slide right out. Especially when the cornerstone dishes have names like butter chicken. But fortunately this wasn't the case! We arrived on the Friday after Thanksgiving during lunch so we were able to take advantage of the specials. The lunch special that is. Not exclusive to Black Friday! Approximately $10 gets you a protein, naan, rice, daal, salad, your choice of vegetable, and rice pudding. It comes on a nice metallic platter with a cubby per dish. I got the butter chicken with chana masala and chai tea (called Indian tea on the menu). All dishes had excellent flavor with good mouth feel. Nothing felt too heavy or overcooked. I even walked out with leftovers. Absolutely five stars in my book for a great lunch bargain. I look forward to coming again next time I'm in the area. read more

Curry Corner has made me a Naan-conformist and the Indian food that I will judge all other Indian food by. Not only do they have the best naan in town(or anywhere for that matter) their lunch menu can't be beat. Cheap prices and a ton of food all on authentic prison trays! These trays serve a dual purpose. Not only do they segregate the delicious curry's they also can be used as a blocking device in case the next table tries to shank you! All kidding aside Curry Corner is a hidden gem in the armpit that is Lacey. The location may be out of the way but the quality of food is worth the drive. Plus, if the curry is having adverse effects on your tummy, you can always blame the mushroom farm. The establishment is clean and the staff is very pleasant. They usually have Indian music playing in the back ground that adds to the ambiance. It depends on who's working but it can range from more traditional to Indian Hip Hop. The server was actually nice enough to let me and my friend borrow one of his CD's, "Everyone On Dance Floor: Round 5"! I generally try and eat a vegetarian diet and Curry Corner's menu does well to accommodate that. However you must try the buttered chicken because it is amazing! Other side dishes I enjoy are the eggplant, palak paneer, which is a spinach dish with cheese, and aloo gobi which is potatoes and cauliflower. Of course don't forget the naan! I think I could go in and order just naan and be happy, it is that good. Curry Corner also has a pretty decent selection of Indian goods for sale. This used to be our favorite Indian place in the area :( It seems the prices have gone up and the portions have gone down. $13 an entree that only includes one piece of Naan OR a bowl of rice just wasn't enough, and it's rare that my wife and I leave a restaurant not full! That said, the lunch special still offers rice AND Naan, and is ~$3 cheaper (not sure why it has way more food and is much cheaper), so the lunch special would still get 4-5 stars. If you're not coming for lunch, be prepared to spend extra on rice or Naan or possibly leave hungry. read more

Went to dinner here twice now. The first time I went with somebody who heard it's the BEST Indian in town. And we both agreed!! It is so far the BEST Indian that I've had in Thurston County. The food is so yummy, fresh, & the portions are HUGE! Overall when it comes to Indian food my biggest complaint is how expensive it is, you have to buy every single thing separate, the rice, the raita, etc. And each dish comes out in a tiny bowl or gravy boat. I used to go to another Indian restaurant out of town where you at least got the rice & raita with the dish you ordered. But for the cost this place is tops! I had tons left over for lunch or dinner the next day, both visits. The 2nd time I went I took 2 other people that I had bragged to about the place. They also loved it. The PRO: is the food. The CON: is the size of the place, it's small, only one stall bathroom for the entire place, men AND women. And dress for summer, both times I went it was HOT & stuffy. And they have a wall of food to buy like a grocery store. It would be nice if the place was bigger, you wouldn't feel crammed in so tight with the other patrons. And because it is so good, it was packed both times I went for dinner. The staff were also very friendly, very attentive. We had the cheese pakora, regular & garlic naan, butter chicken, chicken korma, & some other items. All were tops. And the naan was cooked perfect, not overcooked or burnt. We all had wine & beer. This used to be my favorite place for Indian food in Lacey, but the service has definitely gone downhill over the last three years. I've come in or called thirty minutes before closing only to be told I can't order takeout. This has been a huge disappointment as I don't live nearby and sometimes it takes a while to reach the restaurant. There aren't a lot of parking spots at this place, which shares a lot with Cebu and another business. This place is solid. Like my beloved Naan and Curry in Renton, everything that I've had here is delicious...every time. If I am in the area and they are open, I drop in. The combo platters are a great deal; the lunches are sizable...the spicing is usually done as you like it (I round up), and if it isn't...well, it is so tasty that you don't mind either way. If I had to grouse, I'd say that they do not have "daily specials" that expand the menu from the norm. But: you will be happy with the norm, and happy again with the leftovers. Service is good. The staff is stable, which is a good sign. I've never had to wait for a table, but the parking lot does fill up. read more
