We just moved to Tenino in July of last year from Tacoma. I was a door dash queen when it came to ordering pad thai before we moved. Now it's hard to find a good Thai place, and we're not sure if anyone would deliver out to our new house. We drive by The Lemongrass almost every day but just now stopped to eat there. We parked in the back, walked in and saw several full tables (a good sign) and was seated in a booth. The server was friendly, all our food got out in under 15-20 minutes. We have the pork spring rolls, chicken pad thai, yellow curry friend rice, and I forgot what my fiancé ordered. It was all great! We both said we're coming back here for sure.

I ordered pad Thai with chicken tonight and was definitely disappointed. The noodles are wrong, there are no bean sprouts, and it tastes like it has curry in it. Definitely not pad Thai.

The little sister and I had lunch here yesterday and enjoyed a delicious spread of gluten-free Thai dishes! We popped in around lunchtime and were able to get a comfy table. They had a pretty decent red/ white/prosecco wine selection compared to most small restaurants; since we were celebrating, we indulged. The red blend was quite nice. The little sister enjoyed the mini bottle of proseco they had available. The restaurant is one little dining area with a small, intimate, cozy atmosphere. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable about gf. Most of the items we wanted were available gluten-free. We enjoyed the chicken satay with gf peanut sauce, beef pad Thai, pad see ew with tofu, and chicken tom yum talay soup. Everything was fresh, favorable, and plentiful. The little sister had lots to take home to prevent a hangry husband situation. Overall, it was a nice spot and safe for gluten-free free and celiacs like us.

We moved to Olympia recently from San Jose and I was fairly nervous about leaving our metropolis of good Asian food, but this place made me rethink a lot of my old faithful Thai restaurants down south! My cousin recommended Lemongrass to us. She notoriously only eats Pad Thai. This fact has its pros and cons. It means her recommendations are not very well rounded, but it ask means that she has methodically, and categorically, mapped out every Pad Thai dish in the PNW. We ordered Mongolian beef, Thai chicken salad and lemongrass chicken. They were tough choices! There were a lot of very tempting items on the menu. Luckily though, we assume we can come back and will enjoy everything g else just as much. The portions were generous- we are both blessed with strong appetites- and we still had leftovers to bring home afterwards. The dishes were packed full of fresh veggies. The flavors were classic Thai but not in a basic canned sauce way. Overall we were so happy with our meal and are very excited for our next dinner at Lemongrass Cafe!

We have tried: - Seafood pancake - veggie pancake - chicken bulgogi - spicy pork bulgogi - spicy squid bulgogi - beef bulgogi - all the banchan And everything is a 5/5, soooo good. Service is great they're always friendly. Now, the ONLY downside is their ridiculously expensive prices . ($20+ per dish) We still go here but just not as often due to their prices. Besides that, I highly recommend this place.

Yummy food but oh so pricey! I ordered takeout through the…read morephone for my first visit because I was interested in the lunch specials that were offered. Unfortunately, I was looking at an outdated menu on Yelp, so the spicy tofu soup is no longer on the lunch specials, AND if you want a "lunch special," it needs to be specified when placing the order. I assumed that because it was lunch time, I would be paying the lunch pricing? That wasn't the case when I arrived. Parking seems to only be on the same side as the barber shop (which i think is connected to the restaurant as well?). When I walked in, I didn't really check out the place. Seems like a classic no-frills Korean restaurant. An ajumma (아줌마) appeared at the register after a couple seconds (lol that is the first description that came to mind). I informed her of my phone order and she brought out the food and rang me up for around $55? I was thinking, yikes, that's a steep price for a spicy tofu soup and a lunch special of the galbi and mentioned it to her. She told me that the portion made is not the lunch special and next time, make sure to specify that over the phone if I want the Lunch special or dinner portion. She clarified, while acting out the mannerisms, of customers that would complain about the Lunch special, because they would want a dinner portion instead, so she just places general orders as the dinner portion. (I can already imagine the Karens she must have received for her reaction, which is understandable, but at the time, I was just slightly irritated since I was hoping to pay a cheaper price.) I am assuming after this experience, there is a difference in portion size for the lunch and dinner pricing.. Besides the miscommunication, I can at least say that the food was prepared quickly since it was ready by the time I arrived at the restaurant (about 15 mins after I placed the order?). With the outcast weather, I was craving some soondubu, and Seoul Garden definitely delivered! The tofu portions were generous and the broth was the right amount of spicy where you can taste the flavor but it is not overwhelming. I was not expecting so many complementary sides either! They paired very well with the rice and galbi, which was thoroughly marinated in a delectable glaze. Even though I was initially frustrated that I received the dinner portion, I calmed down after eating the galbi. My son and I actually ended up devouring it.. the food was so good, I totally forgot about the pricing at the moment. Just keep in mind though, this place is not advertised as KBBQ, so you're paying for individual plates/dishes/orders that should already be cooked. I would only recommend this restaurant if there are certain staples you really enjoy (i.e. you're only craving bulgogi but don't want to go out to eat or grill it), because it is arguably just as expensive as KBBQ. But if you're a foodie that can afford it, I'd suggest stopping by to try it out yourself! :)
