The menu is a mix of southern and northern Indian staples and the usual CTM for a British influence. The food uses very high quality ingredients and is properly spiced for anyone who likes Indian food. The servers are very knowledgeable and friendly and they were all able to pinpoint vegan dishes without having to explain what you are looking for. The inside of the restaurant was a great surprise as it's a white table cloth setting - highly unusual for Indian restaurants in Southern California and much more typical to the North East of the country. Definitely a top spot for Orange County if you want high-quality food and an upscale experience.

I've come several times both for groceries and ready made food because they have so many great options. My boyfriend and I love the beef koobideh and boneless chicken kabob, so good!! Zero Customer Service & Severe Food Safety Issues I had a…read moremiserable experience with the hot food/restaurant section at Super Irvine and want to warn other customers. I purchased a 4-piece Koobideh Kabob order. First, be aware that they do not use actual structural lids for orders larger than two pieces. They just loosely throw aluminum foil over the container and put it in a tiny plastic grocery bag. It completely flipped and spilled all over my trunk, clothes, and body on the ride home. When I spoke to the owner later, he openly admitted they intentionally do not provide lids for larger orders. Much worse than the spill, eating the kabob caused me a severe, acute reaction that night. My face broke out in an intense, burning, and itching rash. It was so severe that I spent the next two days going to Urgent Care and two different medical specialists. When I went back to calmly ask for the ingredients so I could figure out what made me so sick, the owner told me to bring the leftover food from my freezer. When I brought it to him, he grabbed my food, refused to give it back, and said he was keeping it to "test it in a lab." He then completely refused to refund my $30+, essentially stealing back the food I paid for so I wouldn't have the evidence. His customer service was below zero, and he was incredibly argumentative with a customer who had just been sent to urgent care by his food. I have filed a formal report with the Orange County Health Care Agency. Check your food and check your bags if you eat here.
