Mmmm tried the seasonal jasmine green grape, it was a 10!! It's so refreshing and so good. The lemon sorbet, the grape puree, and the jasmine tea jello created a perfect harmonic palette for my mouth. Also got the sesame peanut mochi waffles. Though the texture was good, it was somewhat bland. It needed some type of liquid drizzle to enhance the overall flavor/effect.
Desserts after dinner is essential. There are very few places that were open late, and luckily we found this gem. Parking: There's a large parking lot, but since it was a weekend, finding a spot was difficult. Ambiance/Environment: We visited around 21:00, and it was poppin. All the indoor and outdoor seats were full. We had to wait for an open table. The tables and chairs can use a cleaning from the leftover crumbs. It's a fun dessert spot to bring friends & family for a late night sweet treat. Service: There's a self-ordering kiosk or you can order at the register. We ordered at the register. The cashier was simply quick and efficient. I will say throughput took a bit long bc of the high foot traffic and considering they make everything fresh. Desserts: We each shared two Ube Mochi Waffles and a single Choco Oreo. The waffles were lightly chewy from the mochi, and the ube flavor was subtle. They weren't overly sweet. The Choco Oreo is a cookies n cream flavored infused ice. It tasted exactly as described. The crumbs gave it a nice texture, and the ice cream on top made it creamier. It wasn't overly sweet either. Pricing: Somewhat expensive for waffles and ice cream. It's okay to treat yourself occasionally. We enjoyed our desserts. We didn't get any drinks, so we'll have to comeback to try them.
Tons of parking outside and a decent amount of seating inside. Ambiance is definitely skewed towards a younger crowd, with bright lighting and loud music. A little overwhelming for me, but I am easily overstimulated, plus we were next to a table with small children who were definitely on a sugar rush. Staff was friendly enough, and ordering at the counter was straightforward. MANGO BINGSOO: 4/5. The shaved ice is incredibly soft and pillowy. I love the way the bingsoo is generously layered with the fruit throughout, almost like a parfait, so even though you're deep into the bowl, it's not just ice. I do wish there were a little more ice cream.
I came in with low expectations: the last time I had bingsoo was years ago and it was a subpar experience. I was so pleasantly surprised by the bingsoo here and absolutely LOVED it! My husband and I shared the mango bingsoo (large size). We weren't sure if it was going to be too big for two people, but the cups/bowls for the regular size look hard to eat out of without making a mess. The large size ended up being perfect for the two of us. The ice texture is more like snow, super light and fluffy. They are also SOOO generous with the amount of mangos, and there is even more mangos at the bottom of the bowl! The dessert was perfectly sweet and so packed with mango flavor. There's several tables inside, but I can see it getting packed in the evenings/weekends. I like that it's easy to order via kiosk, and our snow came out right away. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and we are definitely coming back!
Service was super fast, we ordered with the staff however there's an iPad as well if the line gets too long. It came out within 10 minutes of ordering even with the line building up. The portion was huge! We ordered strawberry cheesecake and split it between two of us. There's plenty of seating and a little area in the back where you leave your tray and dishes. Overall I would recommend :)
This might sound a little weird, but part of me was genuinely worried that I might have cursed Heybings. After seeing several bingsoo places in the Bay Area close shortly after discovering them, including my all-time favorite (still bummed all of these years later), I couldn't help but fear history might end up repeating itself here. So, needless to say, I was pretty stoked to see this place was not only still alive and kicking, but thriving based on how much busier they were my second time stopping in! Now, at a glance, not much about Heybings immediately stands out (though, the decor is cute), but it's such a cozy spot to grab a nice, cool treat. At any given time, their menu has almost a dozen different varieties of their bingsoo to choose from, including their classic and specialty/seasonal flavors, as well as a half dozen types of mochi and liege waffles. What's more, they also have a mix of specialty drinks and coffees to offer, ranging from your basic sorts of espressos, like Americanos and cold brews, to matchas (including ceremonial grade) and a super interesting mix of lattes (ube, black sesame, injeolmi, houjicha, etc.). -- MATCHA STRAWBERRY - Matcha Base with House-made Strawberry Puree, Fresh Strawberries, Condensed Milk, and Matcha Ice Cream This may not be super unique, but there's a reason why it's so classic - the strawberry and matcha complemented each other so well! Plus, not only were the two flavors really well balanced, but this wasn't nearly as sweet as I thought it was going to be. -- JASMINE GREEN GRAPE with Lemon Sorbet, Green Grapes, Green Grape Puree, and Jasmine Tea Jelly As good as the Matcha Strawberry was, I actually thought this was even better! The bit of tartness from the sorbet made this feel super refreshing on such a warm night, the grapes helped reinforce the puree really well. and the jelly had a terrific pop of tea to it! -- SESAME PEANUT MOCHI WAFFLE Not quite what I expected, in both good ways and bad, but still pretty solid. Rather than just a chewier waffle, this was like a glob of mochi crisped into a waffle. That said, I wish this had a stronger taste of sesame and peanuts to it (just had flecks of them in the mochi). Beyond how much we enjoyed their bingsoo and waffles, the other thing I love about this Heybings is their service. Across both visits, the workers have always been super friendly and relatively quick with getting orders out, even when they've been somewhat busy. Plus, their location is super convenient, as they're not hard to find and the complex has tons of parking spaces. Heybings - I'm so glad you guys helped to break the curse! So long as you guys stick around, you'll definitely be seeing come back again and again! All in all, FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now.
In the Ralph's shopping center on the Baker Street side behind the 76 gas station. Order at the register and they give you a buzzer. Casual upbeat atmosphere with vibey music blasting. Fast and friendly service! We got a strawberry cheesecake bingsoo (korean shaved ice) and an order of waffles that they made as plain as possible for my picky kid (fyi comes with 2 waffles - very eggy taste - we enjoyed them). They were nice enough to add Nutella and whipped cream on the side. Everything delicious! $20 including tax and small tip as of Apr 2026.
Bingsoo is such a nice dessert, and Heybings makes a really dank one. I liked the seasonal Jasmine Grape with a bit of lemon sorbet. It was just super refreshing, and hit the tart notes that I crave after a heavier dinner. And can't forget about the jasmine jelly layered beneath the snow to add some texture and floral flavors. I will say, the grape syrup drizzle was soooooo good. Definitely want to get it again before it's gone. Service was good, although I didn't end up getting a text when my stuff was ready. I think I would have preferred ordering with the cashier and getting a buzzer like they usually do, rather than using the kiosk. The vibe is very cute inside and it's a fun place to hangout with friends. Although, i felt like some people did not understand the bus your own table vibe haha. I don't blame the workers at all, but it might be annoying if you're looking for a seat.
Came here on a Friday night because I was craving a dessert. This small shop is located in Costa Mesa, and although it's a small place compared to other bingsoo place , they're pretty accommodating. I got their cheese waffle and hot hojicha latte so I got to fulfill both of my savory and sweet cravings! The food took a while but I think it's because they're quite busy. Parking is a hit or miss in the plaza, they're pretty limited!
We unfortunately came during a busy hour but the two staff behind the line made every effort to make sure people were served in a timely manner. Kudos to them! Once our desserts arrived, we were thrilled at how infused the black sesame flavor was in the bingsu and how delicious the red bean waffles were. It was a perfect treat for what was an extraordinarily hot day. The mochi bowls and the ice cream on top were my favorite parts of the dish for sure. Thank you to the team for delivering high quality desserts even during a busy hour!
Solid dessert cafe. The location is a bit hidden and near a lot of business buildings so unless you know of this place or on a lunch break, it's hard to find! Korean dessert fusion for bingsoo (shaved ice) and drinks! There's typically only 1 employee every time I've come and seems like it can get overwhelming at times so the service is a bit slow. But they are very friendly and doing what they can.
I really wish Heybings had more locations outside of Orange County! I used to be an Oakobing girl, but this might officially be my new favorite spot. The shaved ice here is unbelievably soft, infused with condensed milk, and absolutely delicious. We shared the Mango Paradise, which came with mango purée, fresh mango, and vanilla ice cream and it was so good. My husband usually avoids dessert for health reasons, but even he made an exception and happily shared both the shaved ice and the chewy ube mochi waffle with me. Yum! I was honestly still so full from lunch that I couldn't finish my corn latte, but it actually tasted super refreshing the next day after sitting in the fridge overnight. I'm definitely coming back to try more flavors. And I'm bringing my pup so she can get a Woofaccino too! read more
i came by here for a sweet treat date, and i was suprised that i had never tried heybings before because i really enjoyed it! we got the jasmine green grape bingsoo in the small size, and it was the perfect amount for the two of us to split. i loved how fresh the green grapes tasted, and they had a good crunch while being very sweet. they weren't too sweet though, and they paired nicely with the soft shaved ice! there is also a scoop of a lime sorbet on top for a good tangy contrast. overall a very yummy bingsoo! service was very efficient and our bingsoo came out pretty fast! the shop itself is very clean with a lot of seating. there is a parking lot outside, so easy to park in but can get crowded on the weekends. would definitely recommend heybings if you're in the area! read more
I absolutely adore this place!! They are dog friendly and the service is wonderful. I absolutely loved their shaved ice as well. It is on the sweeter side, but it's the perfect icy treat. The mochi waffle is also nice and chewy. I loved the texture of it. The yuzu drink was not as sweet as I would've liked, but it was still good. I recommend dipping your waffle in the shaved ice! Came here randomly and it was so much better than I thought. The bingsoo is seriously soft and the flavors are strong which is nice. We also got the mochi waffle and loved it! The texture is so unique. Adding this to my dessert rotation! read more

This matcha dessert was honestly SO good Perfect balance of creamy, light, and not overly sweet. The matcha flavor tasted rich and real, and the crunchy topping made it even better. 10/10 for presentation too read more

Heybings specializes in bingsoo (Korean shaved ice) and it delivered on what it is that we were looking for. We ordered their "strawberry delight" and got a creamy, milky shaved snow topped with the perfect ratio of fresh strawberries and strawberry syrup. They have a matcha snow if you want something different. I might want to get their mango shaved ice in my next visit; however, it would be hard to pass up this strawberry dish! HeyBings has another location in Irvine and I won't hesitate to visit either location if the craving arises. read more
Got the strawberry matcha shaved iced & it was so good! I really liked how you didn't need extra sweeteners to extract the flavor. The small size is great to share if you're coming for just a light snack It's a great study spot too! read more
I'm not a huge dessert person, but this is definitely being added to my rotation! The jasmine green tea green grape was so refreshing and is so delicious it should be on their permanent menu! The Oreo crunch actually had crunch to it and didn't just taste like Oreo crumbs. The service was quick and easy to order on a kiosk and there's ample seating inside. They have single cup and large options which is great as a lot of places don't! Can't wait to come back! read more
Good selection of shaved ice to choose from, glad they have a regular and large size option to choose from. I got the single matcha romance which comes with matcha shaved ice, red bean and mochi. Overall great flavor but is on the pricier side given the portion you get. I also tried their Belgian waffle, got the sesame peanut mochi waffle which came out freshly made. The peanut flavor is just lightly crushed peanuts so it was subtle, more of a sesame flavored waffle. Got chewy texture with the mochi dough coming through! Plenty of seating with plugs along the wall, so good to get some drinks and snack to study or work at. Self serve water station with cute aesthetics! read more
The black sesame bingsoo was so delicious! The bingsoo is so fluffy and the perfect amount of sweetness. I loved how strong the sesame flavor was! The almond, mochi, and red bean added a nice texture to contrast the softness of the ice. The mochi was so QQ and very well made. There space is very nice and clean and lots of places to sit! The service was quick and the food came out with the same speed. The place has limited seating but it's a nice place to have a quick treat and a chit chat with someone. The bingsu itself was DELICIOUS. Personally it was the right amount of sweet. I'm definitely coming back to try the mango one. read more

Really cute little cafe! Love that they have desserts but also coffee and tea drinks. The ambiance was really young and social it seems to be a popular hangout and date spot. The bingsoos were delicious, waffle was good as well I love a good chewy mochi texture! read more
This place has a decent amount of seating so it's a good place to hang out for a dessert after a meal. I felt the taste and quality don't quite match the price, but not too bad. We tried two of their desserts: - mochi waffle: very soft. Finally got to try this new bingsoo place in Irvine and it was so good! It's in the same plaza as Yoo's place and other food spots so it's the perfect place to get dessert. I got the strawberry cheesecake bingsoo in its single serving and the strawberries were super fresh. The space is kind of small but there's still room for seating although I got takeout. Service was friendly and it came out pretty fast! read more
THIS PLACE SMELLS GOOD as soon as you walk in the smell of cookies or mochi waffles hits ya. I just came in for bingsoo. Place is nice and has plenty of seating along the wall. Standard fruit flavors and Oreo. They also have a cheesecake strawberry flavor I'll try next time. Overall the bingsoo is good. 1 large is enough for 4 people if you are just picking at it, 3 people if you want a bit more, and 2 people for a large if you want to gorge. Kinda hard to mess up bingsoo. Maybe add some more puree because the bottom layers didn't have much. Plenty of parking in the plaza read more
I tried the matcha strawberry bingsoo and the sesame peanut mochi waffle. The Bingsoo was pretty good, I do wish that the ice itself had more Matcha flavor and it tasted best when eating with a little bit of the Matcha ice cream which was perfectly sweet and had a decent amount of Matcha. There was a good amount of strawberry included. I'm not a huge fan of sesame peanut flavor but the mochi waffle had a great chewy consistency. read more
10/10 Emerald Dream - Holy cow, this is delicious! Visually, it's absolutely breathtaking. Despite its decadent look, it's not overly sweet. The matcha ice cream sits on top of fluffy matcha ice, drizzled with creamy liquid gold, and finished with graham crackers for a perfect crunch. Can't wait to try more flavors next time! Cost - $16.70 in total. This is so expensive and over priced for the size of this thing! read more

We came on a Friday around 2pm and there was no one there. We had the place to ourselves so no long line and waiting for us. Black Sesame Latte - it was very chalky and couldn't taste the coffee. But the black sesame taste was definitely there. 6/10 Mango Bingsoo - soooo good! The shaved ice was so soft and fluffy it reminded me of shaved ice from Hawaii. They give so much portion of the mango bite size fruit. 10/10 would recommend I will be coming back for sure and want to try the melon and strawberry next. read more
Matcha Cloud presentation was out of this world! Amazing, 10/10! The matcha cloud was so good, so cute, and so refreshing. With the cinnamon toast crunch pieces, wow. Great flavors that combined very well. (See the video attached for some matcha cloud action). The Caramel & Biscoff was delicious too. Perfect amount of sweet. The biscoff just melts in your mouth. 10/10. Amazing service and great atmosphere. We dined outside the establishment since we had our cat with us, but overall impression of the establishment was very clean, well lit and decorated, and great service from those behind the counter. I came here to catch up with a friend and it was the perfect place for doing that over some sweet treats. This dessert cafe is clean and modern looking with a few tables inside and outside. We came when they opened and were the first ones there so the service was quick and the girl at the counter was helpful. They specialize in bingsoo and mochi waffles so of course we got both. The Sesame Peanut Mochi Waffle ($8.25) had a nice crispness and chewiness. If you're thinking it's savory it's actually slightly sweet. I liked it but if we hadn't paired it with shaved ice it would've been a little dry. We shared a large Mango Paradise Bingsoo ($14) and it was a good portion and very refreshing. The shaved ice was light and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness from the milk and fresh mango pieces. I recommend adding mochi rice balls ($1.50) for another level of texture. I also had their Matcha Latte ($6) with almond milk and it was well made. They use organic ceremonial grade matcha and you can taste the quality. If they had a strawberry matcha I would've liked it even more. This was my first experience trying Korean shaved ice and thanks to this place it won't be my last. read more

The flavor was rich and nutty, and I loved the mix of textures from the sesame ice cream, chewy mochi, sweet red bean, and crunchy almond bits. Everything came together perfectly. Ordering was quick and easy, the interior had a lot of seating to enjoy the shaved ice, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely check them out as a dessert place. They serve chewy mochi waffles, Korean shaved ice, and drinks. They have around 5 tables for seating along the wall. Can get crowded during peak hours but it's an all around good sit down for a casual catch up with friends. Black sesame bingsoo was good with the sweet red bean. Oh my, a delicious little spot for dessert! We were in the area after lunch and wanted to get some dessert. I found Heybings on Yelp and since it was such a hot day, this was a great treat. It wasn't crowded when we came on a Saturday around 1pm. We were able to order quickly and found a table easily. Tried the individual sized strawberry delight ($8.50) and the red bean mochi waffle ($8.25). Initially thought the waffle price was a bit stiff but it was a sizable waffle. Enjoyed both thoroughly and loved that the shaved ice came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (paired great with the waffle). Great spot to come for a sweet treat! I am obsessed with heybings, specifically their melon bingsoo. It is so refreshing with fresh lime and honey dew melon pieces throughout. The condensed milk provides creaminess but not too much to be heavy/overpowering. Kinda dangerous because I can eat a lot of it that way haha. I love desserts that don't weigh you down after and this is perfect for a light dessert that still satisfies your sweet tooth. I also think the option to order single servings is so helpful and avoids eating too much out of guilt of wasting food. It's the perfect amount! I've come back twice to order the same thing but I'm sure their other flavors must me tasty as well. read more
