Great to finally have an excellent Indian restaurant in Burke! Generous buffet could use a few more entrees, but we had a great meal!

Really good food! Menu is part Indian and part Nepalese, but the owner, cook, and staff are all from Nepal. Been twice and tried different things both times and was very happy. They trusted us when we said "yes, we want it spicy," which often doesn't work in Indian restaurants. A bit less butter would be good, but it's all tasty. It's a great new neighborhood gem. My husband and I went here for lunch today and we were very pleased! We love Indian food, and have been waiting for a good place to open up in Burke and we're so excited to have found one. We went for the lunch buffet and enjoyed it a lot. The naan bread was hot and crispy and we could tell they made it fresh on the premises. The food and sauces were very tasty (loved the mango chutney and the warm eggplant dish). The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would have like to have seen more meat dishes (there were two chicken dishes and one goat dish, and the rest were vegetable sides)....and also the lentils in one of the dishes were almost raw (very crunchy). But the sweet dessert balls were just delightful, and they were friendly and the atmosphere was low-key but very nice. We will be back! read more

The Curry House is still new to Burke but they have quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I'm grateful that they diversify the local restaurant selection. This is probably my newest and favorite go to place for lunch. I literally went here three times in one week, bless their souls! They are tired of me and my coworkers haha!! They have a lunch buffet from 11-3pm that's $10.99 for over 10 select items, including dessert. My favorite is the Biryani rice man oh man is it delicious!!!! I could really go vegan with all the spices they incorporate. Thank you for giving us some really great food. Affordable, flavorful, and authentic! And the Naan is so fresh and soft, I've never tasted it anywhere else as delicious and fluffy. The ambiance was also nice, cute color scheme too! read more

We called to see if they could accommodate two people at 915 and they said they could. We arrived at 905 and placed our order by 915. We ordered momos, a goat vindaloo, and butter chicken, and a coke. They brought the coke bottle out and it was expired. We had to get the coke exchanged. Then they brought the food out and literally had replaced the momos with some random dish. I don't even know what the dish was because we did not order that! When I pointed that out, the person looked confused and went to get the person who took our order. The person who took our order came and tried to convince us we did order that. After being adamant that we did not, the individual went and got another woman. The woman came out and told us the server was new and then she told us they ran out of momos. It was very obvious they weren't trying to make them after messing up the initial order. Also, the goat vindaloo was so hard and had little to no meat. They sent us one gulab Jamun each as an apology. It was a mediocre experience and definitely not worth what paid. Small portion sizes. However, the sauce on the vindaloo was good. And the butter chicken was good as well. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Curry House for the last 3 years until tonight. I've supported them because they are a family owned business. After tonight and this review. I will be buying butter chicken from another competitor. Tonight, I traveled 15 mins. from my home to Burke for butter chicken. I've ordered this dish more than once and have always asked for "MILD". Tonight, I came home and to find out that it wasn't mild, it was spicy. When I called in my order, I asked for "MILD", when I picked up my order, the paper on the bag read "butter chicken mild". I called the restaurant and spoke to the woman who took my order. I let her know that my meal was spicy. She wanted me to drive 15 mins. back to the restaurant so they can exchange my order. I told her that I live too far, she asked me "what do you want me to do?" I asked her to give me same order tomorrow. She told me to bring back the order from tonight to get a new order. When I asked her to just give me a refund than. She put me on hold and her Manager came on the phone. He said he wanted to taste the food himself to see if it's really spicy. I was grossed out by what he was telling me. I told him that it's unsanitary and gross for him to want to taste the food, after I already ate some it. He said that it wasn't gross and that he wants to improve their service. I called him and his business a joke. When I asked him to come to my place to pick up the order and bring me the replacement, he didn't want to do that. He didn't want to travel the 15 mins that it took me to go his restaurant. I can't support a business who thinks it's alright to taste the customers food after some of it has been eaten to see if the customer is telling the truth or lying. read more

Loooooved Curry House! Got the Korma, Chicken Chilli, samosas, vegetable platter, and garlic naan. The vegetable platter was all fried which I didn't realize--I didn't like it for that reason but am sure others might enjoy. The garlic naan was delicious as everyone has already mentioned in their reviews. The Korma and samosas were my favorites from this order! Delicious and great portions! After a trip to London last fall, we were looking for a good Indian food place. We got a recommendation for the Curry House, and tried takeout tonight. It was excellent - we had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken and naan bread. Very nicely spiced and flavorful, and the rice was exceptional - something that is often not as good. I've had takeout and delivery from Curry House a few times. It's always been really delicious. I had an issue with GrubHub delivering the wrong food and someone at the restaurant stepped up and fixed it for them, which I thought was pretty cool. The lamb Vindaloo is my go-to meal - spicy, flavorful, but not atomic level. If it was a bit cheaper I'd eat there like once a week. Happy to have them in Burke! read more

Not a huge selection, but a well-curated assortment of extremely-well executed dishes. I was very excited when an Indian restaurant finally opened in the Burke area. Even more excited that they partnered with DoorDash for delivery. But unfortunately it is disappointing. I've tried it 3 or 4 times now and I think I'm done. The chicken tastes hard/dried out even when floating in sauce (overcooked perhaps?). And the sauce is very watery. Never seen Indian food watery sauce....it's very odd. And obviously it lacks flavor from being watered down. I really hope they read this and make some adjustments because I desperately want delivery Indian food. The Naan we got was tough and chewy as well, seemed like it was reheated in the microwave. read more

Got take-out from Curry House today with my family, and we've concluded this place isn't the best spot for Indians looking for quality South Asian food. The aloo papdi came with chutney but no yogurt, and the dish itself had only a couple tiny pieces of potato and chickpeas in a container filled to the brim with papad. No flavor at all and very dry. The Hakka noodles tasted like something I could throw together at home with a store-bought sauce. The vegetable biryani was very heavy on the elaichi with very little flavor otherwise. Pretty disappointing when we were excited to see an Indian place so close to our home. Will take our business elsewhere in the future. read more

Got the food delivered, did not know Burke had an Indian place! Food was delicious, a little pricey but not completely unreasonable. Only complaint was my cheese naan, not as cheesy as I like and a little burnt. I will definitely order again and will try to stop in for the buffet. read more

Awesome- lamb cashew curry was delicious, very nice staff as well. Milk ball dessert was tasty too!
