My left rear tail lamp lens was ripped off from the brushes at Mister Car Wash. I spoke with Braxton, the manager, and he said "it was previously repaired." I disagreed, and told him I'd drive to see him and he can inspect the assembly personally! His response, "it's an aftermarket part!" I said no. It's a a factory Nissan part. This is how the factory builds the tail lamp assembly! It's a $300, original factory part, that's a sealed lens! Braxton, continued to insist otherwise and said, "no adhesive parts are covered!" This means if the side moldings are ripped off, bumper strip molding are damaged, factory emblems torn off, or the fender flares from Mister Car Wash, you're not covered!!! I"ll never go to Mister Car Wash again, and I'll inform other potential customers of their poor customer service and their aggressive, damaging brushes! Buyer beware!!! read more

You'd think having a car wash membership would be convenient, right? Well, not if it's with Mister Car Wash. I signed up online for their highest-level service at $36.99, assuming that price would at least include vacuuming. Spoiler alert: it doesn't. All the vacuums were coned off with no explanation. But that's just the beginning. They require you to slap a sticker on your windshield, which I'm not a fan of--why should I advertise for them for free? I tried using the barcode in the app instead, but the staff couldn't scan it. When I called customer service, they basically told me tough luck and insisted the sticker was the only reliable option. It felt like I was being punished for not wanting to plaster my car with their logo. I canceled the membership. For $36.99, you're paying for just a basic wash that they call (Titanium), and the quality is nothing special. Other local places offer better service, include vacuuming, and charge less. Stopped by to get a quick car wash after a long road trip. The attendants were super nice and walked me through options and pricing. Someone helps direct you as you drive in which can be helpful if there aren't mirrors to line up with the track. They have a covered area with vacuums you can stop at afterwards to clean out the inside of your vehicle. While the experience was a pleasant one, the wash itself wasn't really up to par. There were still quite a few bugs on the front lights and grill area of my vehicle. For $12 I do think these should be cleared off in one go. The rest of the car was sparking clean but it was a bummer since I didn't notice until I returned to where I was staying. My advice is to make sure you check out your vehicle before leaving to make sure it's as clean as expected. read more

He took my card to enter into the machine (I'm inches away from it and could manage this all myself). Asked me if I'd like to leave a tip for the team. Tip for what?! The basic car wash used to include some car wax and the optional to get the interior done. Now you have to pay $32 per month and another $10 to get the interior done. Really disappointed in MR. Carwash in Sandy. We pay for a monthly pass for two cars. On average, 1 out of 3 times I go, the blowers spurt out this black oily grit onto my white car. Sometimes it's on the windshield and then the dryer brush rubs it all over the place. This time, it happened on the back of my car. I have called about the issue, no one called me back. And, I have had to go through the car wash multiple times to get rid of it. It's obviously an ongoing issue and the need to fix it. read more

I have been a "paying customer" for over a year now with the Unlimited car wash membership. Today, was the last straw. I pulled into the covered vacuum area due to each outdoor vacuum parking bay, being full. I looked for some signage saying that this area was for employees only. Nope. Nothing. On top of that, it was empty. I pulled up and started vacuuming. A young lady appeared out of nowhere and started yelling, "WE CANNOT HAVE YOU USING OUR VACUUMS. THIS IS FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY." Um, excuse me, am I not a "paying customer?" Regardless, that may not have been what she meant to say, her verbiage and tone was totally uncalled for. I informed her that each bay was full and this area was empty without any employees around or signage saying this was an employee only area. Her response was, "Not my problem." Ok, then. I pulled out and parked myself right in front of their tip jar. My previous issues were physical damage to my '17 Ford Explorer, such as: rear wiper blade coming off and scratching my window glass. My recent favorite was the passenger side mirror cover coming off. I noticed within *I think* three days and went back immediately. The employee said, "We don't have it anymore. You should have come back right away." Thanks, Mom. Had I noticed sooner, I would have come back. I was a huge fan when it was Firehouse car wash and a bit disappointed when they sold/changed over to Mister Car Wash. For convenience of their location, I have maintained my car wash pass. For only $25 you get unlimited car washes every month! I try and get there 3 times a week, on my way home from work. So this is a great value for me. However, I've never been impressed with their service. I worked at a car was for several years as a teenager and early twenties, so I pride myself on a clean car and am fully aware of what it takes to do a good job. Whether it is drying, vacuuming, or detailing, if you work there, you should be aware of all aspects. Typically once I get out of the car wash tunnel, I pull straight forward to the vacuums and waive off the people wanting to dry my car, as I prefer to do it myself. (Of all the times I've had them dry my car, I was disappointed). They would miss a rearview mirror, not wipe the middle of my windshield, entirely skip the bottom half of my car etc. A very disappointing experience I had, is when I paid for a full detail and hand wax. I had dropped my car off and they said it would take 2 hours. I called at the 2 hour mark, it wasn't ready. I called after 4 hours and they said "it's been ready for hours"... but yet no one called me like they said they would. Upon inspecting their detail and hand wax, there were several wax swivels on some of the side panels, as well they skipped waxing the roof of my car entirely! They didn't think I would check! My car is an SUV, so I had to climb on the side steps to peek at the roof = completely untouched! Needless to say, I went from disappointed to annoyed as they stood there waiting for a tip for their poor job. The free vacuums, complimentary towels, and the affordable monthly pass is why I am a customer here. I don't mind doing the work myself with their amenities. I just wish their staff had a little more attention to detail... (pun intended)! read more

Anne informs me that even though I called a day ahead of the transaction posting, "We've had issues with the charges showing up anyways, so if that happens, just call us and we'll give you a 800 number you can call" - Unreal. So, I'll be checking my statement and disputing any charges. I'll post a follow up here. Be advised not to entrust your credit card to a business that "has issues". Do not trust your credit card number to this business if they can not suspend a future transaction. Do the daily if you must. Do not purchase the unlimited. The worst car wash I have ever had. I just bought a house near the Sandy location and I have four cars I need washed regularly, each month. I moved from Holladay and have passes with Supersonic Car Wash. I tried Mister Car Wash to see how things would go. Mister Car Wash will not allow you to dry down your vehicle, if they do a terrible job drying your car, too bad. I was drying down the grill and the door jams, because they did not get all the water off. The manager came up to me and tried to pull the rag out of my hand while he was telling I cannot dry down my vehicle inside the bay. First of all, never pull something from someone's hands, ever! This is a huge sign of disrespect! And second, especially as a manager, have the skill to use tact when speaking to a customer. Having a bad day or not I am the customer. I used Mister Car Wash four times with three of the four vehicles, each time they did a terrible job and the fourth time I was treated like I was stealing their rag (I was sick of the excess water everywhere). I canceled my pass today and will never go back! I would rather drive further away to be treated with respect and have a quality car wash. read more

Update: I went with the monthly membership. This is the most convenient car wash to me and they do a good job. They dry you car off, but not ever well enough. If they could just supply everyone with a towel without having to always ask, I'd be happy. They always miss my chrome and sides of my car. It's white, so I have figured out that I have to drive slowly for a bit afterwards so the black tire shine doesn't flip up onto my car. But, ultimately the best car wash around me with the least amount of work for me. read more

Plenty of employees. Nearly zero interested in working. At all. Nice young manager in over his head. The 7-8 other teenagers are wandering around or doing something, not working, in a back room. Manager said my car was ready. I asked if he'd looked at it? Oh yes. Ok. We start the walk around. Rims had not been touched. Oops. 2 kids come out, bend down and half heartedly wipe a little. I go find the manager and tell him he has an employee problem. And I still want my car clean. He acknowledges the employee problem m. He finished the job himself. The kids have gone back inside. I'm an unlimited pass buyer. My car might be washed 10 times in a year. So it averages about $70 per wash. That's as often as I have time. This is a good central location. But it's not worth $70 and the brain damage. read more

Took my SUV here and paid $80 bucks for a red carpet clean so they called it. The phrase that is more descriptive would be something like "Brown Carpet clean" That much money didn't get my rims cleaned, they said that would be an extra charge. Holy cow, eighty bucks for an interior cleaning and a wax and no rims. There is no way I would let a car leave a car wash with dirty rims. What happened to this place? And the supposed "supervisor" was standing there. I'm dumbfounded. Absolutely horrible service! My husband bought me a gift card for Chistmas to get my car detailed. Six months later I still haven't been able to use it because they've turned me away approximately twenty times! Today, the final insult. I showed up at 9 am. The manager came out to lecture me for not coming in earlier. This has been by far our worst gift card purchase ever! Thought I'd give this place another shot after only coming once before, roughly a year ago last summer. Same experience, still a worthless car wash. I bought the most expensive exterior wash (with wheel polish, etc) for $18. After a literal, less than 60 seconds through the wash, two guys dried off only 1/2 on my front window an one line through the side exterior. My car is still covered in dirt and now water spots. Apparently the squirt of liquid as you drive through is the wheel polish and "extra wax & shine layer" to boot. Such a waste of $18 - especially when you can go to Fabulous Freddy's down the street to get a similar wash for $13 AND a full wipe down/dry off, including the insides of your doors, with no remaining dirt. I've had an unlimited membership for some time and found the service pretty good but I'm cancelling it immediately. They have always hand dried the car but they have discontinued that part of the service. Now my car has spots and the windows are horrible. I asked to borrow a towel while the windows were wet and they said I had to buy a towel for $2. Pretty disappointing that they would cut a basic service so they could cut out some jobs. Today my boyfriend took his car in for a full detail. Total price $130 for the whole overhaul and shampooing of the interior. Let's just say after them having the car for 3 hours, which is normal for huge detail cleaning the car was not clean enough for that kind of money. I have had better interior clean jobs done for $20. Extremely unhappy and we just through money away. The vents had dust still on them, the seat tracks weren't wiped down, and I could go on and on. Horrible!!!! read more

Just bought the Platinum pkg for my Jeep for a month. Not the worst, not great either. They need to pay more attention to cleaning the windows and actually wiping all the water off the car. These things are time sensitive for water spots and should be done before vacuuming. They seem to have their priorities a little mixed up. The kids there are nice, but don't spend enough time actually finishing the car wash off. read more

This is my second time to this carwash, each time purchasing the Platimum Full Service wash for $36. So not impressed. Both times the car is still dirty, the windows are filled with fingerprints and the dash is still dusty. Supposedly these are all included, I can't imagine if I paid the extra money to get the doors and seats wiped down! To have 4 people "cleaning" the inside I definitely expected more.
