We have not dropped anything on this spot to create a chip. David came back to look at it and said accidental damage was not covered in his guarantee/warranty, even though I explained my care and lack of dropping things on the surface. He said he would get a quote for the chip as well as another chip he found. Because I pressed, saying I didn't cause the damage and it should be covered, he said they would touch up the paint while they were already here and didn't charge me. I asked Sofia if I could get the name, color, and finish info of the touch up paint so I could have some on hand in case this happens again, but she said it was a licensed product unavailable to laypeople and recommended I cover it with white nail polish. So now I just have to hope and pray that nothing else happens to the tubs because I don't feel confidence that they'll cover it. They said accidental damage doesn't mean it was caused by me, but apparently it's still not covered in the warranty?? I am leaving some stars on my review because the initial work looked good, and David did work very hard. But if I was looking for a company to do a great job AND for the work to last, then I'm afraid I cannot recommend this company. Initial Review: David was so kind and thorough. He had to use a LOT of elbow grease to scrape off our old paint that a previous owner applied terribly. David updated me throughout and was up front about additional cost to add nonslip surface. The new tubs are so sparkly and shining! I got a quick response on Yelp communication, though I did not receive any reminder or instructions for how to prepare my bathroom prior to his visit.

After obtaining additional estimates from other contractors, we were advised that several of the smaller handyman-type items included in the proposal appeared to be significantly overpriced. As a result, we requested that those items be removed from the scope of work. However, despite removing multiple services, the overall project cost remained essentially unchanged, which further raised concerns. We ultimately decided to limit the project to repairing our shower pan leak. At that point, Nathan informed that the company could no longer do business with us. Unfortunately, this left us feeling that the focus was more on maximizing the project value than on addressing our actual needs as customers. We value transparency, clear communication, and flexibility when making significant home improvement decisions, and our experience did not reflect those expectations.

Custom Cabinets & Refinishing run their business the way a business should be run. Edgar showed up on time for the estimate and was here the scheduled time every day. Custom Cabinets & Refinishing made 18 Birch Plywood custom cabinets that were various sizes, including a large shoe rack with stain & white paint finish and installed in 4 different rooms. Being retired Navy I am quite picky when it comes to having work done in my house (Attention to detail). One hour into the install, I knew I had nothing to worry about with Custom Cabinets & Refinishing. Edgar and his dad Felipe are the best in the business. They were professional, asked questions to ensure everything was how I wanted it, answered all my questions, and cleaned up after themselves as good as I would have. Most of all, they are competitively priced, their work is outstanding, done on the time frame selected for the agreed price, with no surprises encountered. CC&R, The only choice. Very Well Done Guys!!! We got our kitchen and bathroom oak cabinets all refinished by Custom Cabinets and Refinishing and the quality of the finished work was impeccable! I highly recommend Filipe and Edgar (Thanks Don Filipe :-]) The work was performed very cleanly and promptly and is reasonably priced. Based on conversations with others who did this work before we were skeptical of redoing the draw boxes for fear of not closing or fitting right. We took the leap of faith and could not have been happier with the decision. They came out perfect! Though you loose some volume to the draws, that was not an issue for us. The quality of the work really sips through. The draws and soft close mechanisms they added work great, close completely. Make sure you get a bid with these guys before accepting a bid. Edgar and Felipe are true craftsmen. They were polite, punctual, professional and true to their estimate. They are detail oriented and leave your house clean. I could not be happier with the way our kitchen cabinets were transformed. They turned 22 year old, red oak cabinets into something we are excited to show (and recommend) to our friends. I did some research into DIY-ing and was shocked to learn that Wayne only charged a little more per shelf than I would have paid if I did them myself. The shelves were ready a week later, and he and his son came to install this morning. I purchased a total of 12 pull out shelves and install only took a few hours. Not to purchase additional material, but to simply get an exchange since we got sent the wrong shade on accident. If the communication was there we would have reached out to this business directly, but it hasn't been, so we saved ourselves the headache and contacted the manufacturer.
