A new homeowners place to go! Moving into a new place can be very overwhelming especially when you need flooring work done. I had seen lots of great reviews about this business so I decided to make my way over and check it out. I had the pleasure of meeting Ron as I walked in to this business hoping to get a quote on carpet and tile work in my new home. I let Ron know that I had no knowledge of carpets or how to pick one. Ron took the time to explain how it all worked and gave some great product recommendations, such as getting a good quality padding. A few short days later, Ron came to measure the area for our carpet. The quote we received was very fair. I had done a bit of research on pricing so I knew what to expect, and was thrilled with the price Ron quoted. I then had the pleasure of working with Claire, who helped set everything else up and make sure our dream home came together with brand new flooring. Both Claire and Ron were excellent communicators who went above and beyond to give the best possible customer service and turnaround time. We have done a full kitchen and flooring remodeling in our home. Not knowing who to use to install our new laminated flooring we went with On the level flooring who was recommended by our cabinet and counter top contractor. They have all found that the poor workmanship and improper installation is to blame for this issue. You are absolutely not able to sub out to unliscenced subcontractors, especially since you carry NO WORKERS COMP INSURANCE! An issue that will surely be addressed by the CSLB since it is a major violation in their eyes. And you only tried to "help" us after I posted pictures of our home to social media. And you know that you were not at my home everday, another lie. You flat out told the CSLB that you are not willing to help us, so your response to this review is a lie. Just like how your website says you use professional installers to install at your jobs. He states that he is not willing to repair or replace our flooring in anyway. He also told them he "thought the installer he used was licensed". He told them that he looked at the slab before installation and that he could tell that there was no moisture issue prior to installing (I didn't know you could eyeball a moisture test). Anyways, now we are left with a civil suit and his bond. read more

Walked out on the job after I waited weeks for him to be available. BTW, he does not level floors, but he'll refer you to a company that he says will. So, I hired that company:$2000.00 for 1/2 day of labor! Were the floors level, then? No. The company said they made the floors 'flat' not level! My 40" tall cabinet still leans away from the wall about 3" and has to be shimmed upright to get the doors open - why? The floors were not leveled. Both companies are ethically questionable. read more

I can't say enough how much I loved working with Ron and On the Level Flooring. After purchasing a new home I wanted to get new carpet and flooring put in right away. So I went to Home Depot (not knowing any better) to get an estimated. This was the worst idea I could have had. The quality of the product I was buying was not as good as what I ended up with. I was referred to Ron buy our demo contractor. After meeting Ron when he came to take measurements I was put at easy and he answered all questions I had. (Where at Home Depot I had no clue who was installing my items. And I was getting random charges). I decided to go with Ron and I couldn't have been happier with my decision. My husband was at sea for the most of the home renovation. Ron was great, informative, had awesome ideas, and is an all around good person. When I walked I to my new home with new flooring and carpet I was blown away at how beautiful it was. I have already referred him to friends and family member. I can say 100% that I would never ever do another flooring or carpet renovation without Ron. And my husband absolutely agrees with me.
