Miracles do happen. And they happen here. Fast and reliable service too. I ordered a jersey shirt and it was really over-sized. Luckily I had a jersey shirt that did fit me for comparison. I left the two shirts, the one that did fit me and the one that didn't here. When I picked up both shirts they were both magically the same size. Well not magic, I know it was a lot of hard and precise work on the alterations. They do charge for every single cut on the shirts though. For example if they have to cut the sides or the bottoms or the sleeves or in my case every part of the shirt so it can fit me they'll charge you for every side. It can add up and get kinda pricey but if the garment you want altered is priceless to you then it is worth it. Overall to get a jersey shirt altered all over it was around $50. read more

I am very upset i have used a custom Alterations for a few years. At the beginning of March I brought in 2 skirts, 2 pair of pants, and two jumpsuits. I went to pick up my items and when I took them out of the bag a couple of days later, both jumpsuits were missing. They were brand new and when I called the owner, he said I must have dropped them. I stopped in for a few fabric masks since I'd seen them in the window. Wow! What a nice gentleman who greeted me and wonderful customer service. I had to return my mask due to a small tear in the fabric (not his fault) and he repaired it and gave me a choice of any other mask free for my troubles as well. I hadn't been here in a few years as there wasn't anything I'd needed tailored, but they'd done our kids choir outfits and graduation suits, tux rentals, etc. since they opened. Service without a smile. Brought in dresses to shorten the hem. 2 dresses for $66 and I could've done a better job myself as I am an amateur sewer. I brought them to a "professional" expecting professional results. What I got was a disaster. When I pointed out the shoddy work, all I got was excuses that the dress material was too fine for the machine..... why is that my problem? And no apologies or statements that he will make it right. Just excuses. It wasn't until I got home that I fully realized how Shoddy of a job he really did on my dresses. I've uploaded some pics so you can see for yourself. It looks like someone butchered the ends of the dress and didn't even bother to finish the raw edges. What's worse is that the hem line of my 2nd dress is visible from the outside and looks wobbly like a person failing a DUI test. Needless to say I'll never go back to this establishment ever again. I had 2 dresses I needed altered. I arrived at 4:30 PM they close at 6:00PM. I was greeted by a man who immediately told me he had to leave in 2 to 3 minutes to pick up his car but if I wanted to change real quick he would help me. He didn't even direct me to where I could change. Just reminded me he had to leave in 2 to 3 minutes. I found the dressing room quickly changed and again he reminded me he had to leave. He was rude and abrupt. I left and told him not to worry I wouldn't be back. Verry poor customer service and extremely rude! read more

If I could give this guy 0 stars I would. I came in to get an outfit hemmed and he gave me 3 quotes depending on the method of payment. Who charges over $60 to get an outfit hemmed!? On top of that, he was rude and dismissive. I asked him a question and he was in the back room as if I didn't even exist. It took him 2 days and he even stayed late when I told him of my early morning flight I had the next day just to give me my jacket. The work was right to military standard. I want to thank you the Owner of Custom Fit Alteration for making my daughter's wedding day perfect. I called at 9:05 am in a panic because our dresses needed major alterations. We had custom dresses made in Cathedral City, Ca and they were a mess. We weren't able to pick them up until 15 min before leaving to Corona on Friday night and her Wedding was on Saturday April 10th at 4 pm in Moreno Valley, Ca Long story short I made contact with the Owner at 9:15 am and he told me bring them in immediately. He took my dress and my Daughter's wedding dress that needed a Cathedral train removed and 3.5 inches in the front removed as well and locked his shop up to start the work immediately and told me to return at 11 am to pick them up. I was extremely nervous and was worried that I was making a big mistake leaving it. My son returned at 11 am to pick the dresses up and hurry back to our rented place so we could get dressed. With fingers crossed I tried on my dress and was overwhelmed with emotions my dress fit like a glove. When I helped my daughter get in her custom dress again I prayed that it too would be perfect. Took my daughters prom dress in to get a few alterations. The guy said he was swamped but said he'd have it done by the time we needed it. I took his word. He did such a horrible job on the slit area she asked for, didn't even tighten the straps, just left pins in place so when she took it off it all came apart. Very disappointed for what we paid. I bought my husband an XL Michael Kors trench coat for Christmas. I didn't realize this brand runs large so we brought it to Custom Fit Alterations. My husband is very particular on how his clothes fit because he's a body builder. The tailor noticed his left shoulder is lower (he has mild scoliosis) so he suggested a shoulder pad to make it even. He explained how he would bring in the back & the sides to make the coat more fitted and place the 1 shoulder pad. The coat had a thick lining so my husband was amazed that the tailor was able to alter that and the thick coat itself. I held my breath when my picky husband tried on the coat and I couldn't believe he said "this is the best fitted coat I've ever tried on!" My husband is still shocked that the tailor noticed his mild scoliosis and suggested the one sided shoulder pad. I don't normally write reviews but my husband is extremely particular and sometimes hard to please. So I just had to commend the tailor for his wonderful work. Thank you! read more

This review comes from someone who has years of experience taking his suits to tailor shops. The owner was rude. Is not approachable at all. Stitching on the inside was everywhere. Stitching on the outside was too noticeable. Couldn't even dry clean my pants. I had high hopes for this place. I just needed somewhere close to work to get some work done. This place is not it. I will not be returning. Why the 2 stars? At least my pants were ready when he said they would be but for the work performed they could've been ready 30 minutes later, not 4 days later. read more

Custom Fit Alterations is the best tailor in town! For those complaining he is expensive, a seamstress at the cleaners is probably what you need. Gigi does fabulous quality tailoring. In the past 10+ years, He has taken care of many formal dresses and several Air Force blues & mess dress. He knows the regs for uniforms. He is fast but excellent work & I consider him very reasonable! For those complaining about him being rude, he is just to the point. Will tell you what you can & can't do and will get you in and out. I walked into this shop and told the guy I needed American Flag patches sewn into the sleeve of 2 work shirts... he gave me a ticket and said come back in 24 hours. This man was so rude. I came in with my parents to get 2 coats and a Pant altered for a wedding and instead of measuring and focusing on the alterations he decides to talk about our culture and religion with us. He wasted our time - a 20 minute job took him more than an hour because he decided he was going to be a smart ass about how much better he knows our religion. As a business owner he needs to focus on what his job is, not talking about someone's religion and being disrespectful about it. I would never go back to him, he was so disrespectful. I needed an emergency last minute tailoring service super simple job just need the bottom of my dress cut because it was too long. A job that my old alteration lady charged 15$ for. This place charged me $84 dollars if I paid with cash and $94 if I paid with card which is really odd. Then when I showed up the dress was cut but the fish and hook I asked for was not done he had me wait 20 mins while he sat on the phone. when I got home I discovered the bottom of my dress was lopsided.
