Due to COVID 19 the local seamstress at our cleaners was not open for business. I called everywhere and finally reached Gigi. I explained that my son was commissioning into the U.S. Army and needed military alterations to be done to his uniform. The challenge was to be seen in person in order to take measurements. We scheduled an appointment and all COVID precauitons were met. Gigi was very friendly, accomodating and knowledgable of military alterations. Received uniform back in time. Happy Army MOM! This place looked great for alterations and based on the reviews, it seemed like a good idea. But man, I just had plain out bad service from right when I walked into the door. We got there only a couple of minutes before closing, and there was only one man in the back who didn't stop his work to greet us until we greeted him. And he could clearly see us. Then when he was measuring what to trim off my pants, he started to criticizing on how I wanted it to be cut. When I didn't make my decision right away, he rudely told us to make up our minds because the place is closed already. This guy just didn't have any patience and it made me never want to come back here. based on prior reviews here I decided to try Custom Fit Alterations despite there being several tailors closer to my home. When I arrived the gentleman working was quick to assist, recognized this was a specialty uniform so he asked a few questions about what type of gear I would need to utilize with it, was able to take measurements, made a recommendation about the sleeves as well (that hadn't occurred to me) and I was done in less than 10 minutes. 2 days later the uniforms (4 shirts) were ready and the fit was PERFECT. I'd highly recommend this tailor and I will definitely be bringing him more business in the future. Some previous reviews mentioned the owner / employees 'attitude' and while there might be a slight language barrier please do not let that deter you, their quality is top notch and very well priced. read more

Gigi the owner is amazing. I ordered a long sleeve gown once that didn't look how I expected Gigi transformed it into a sweetheart neckline and made it into a gorgeous dress. I had another gown hem line alerted many layers and I asked him to add a slit in they leg and I loved it. GiGi is a pretty good tailor. I drove about 40 minutes from Moreno Valley to Corona to go seek his services. I was taking a chance, but the reviews for the tailors in my area were not great, and I needed nothing short of a perfect job. I needed my United States Army Service Blues fitted and tailored from scratch. This was of the utmost importance as I was to walk my sister down the aisle in my uniform for her wedding, and I needed everything to be perfect. Military uniforms are different from regular suits, and GiGi was well aware of the rules, regulations, and any tricks to make it happen. Gigi is my preferred tailor in all Riverside area. He has been my tailor for more then 6 years, and I've never once was disappointed by his work. I have used services of other tailors in the area but they did not meet my expectation. A couple of years ago I've bought a suit at Macy's in Riverside and they sent me to a tailor locally on Tyler st. not too far from the mall. Called to see if they could alter a hat. I must say the person on the phone sounded very unpleasant. I remembered thinking that, customer service is definitely lacking. However, I decided to take the hat and have him give an estimate. Bad mistake! They are even more rude in person. I'm not concerned about him not being able to alter the hat, it's his demeanor and total rudeness. If he is the owner, he must attend customer service training ! I was looking for a tailor last minute i had pants that never had tailored and I wanted to wear to a meeting so the day before I called they told me they can do same day. I went the next morning around 10 dropped off my pants the guy pinned my pants the way I wanted it and told me it was $42 which I think is pretty pricey. Went the next day, couldn't try on my pants cause I had my kids in my car. So I paid the guy even gave him a little extra.. went home tried my pants on and man they were perfect! They fit perfect! As others have said, the man that works here, which I wil assume is the owner and/or manager, is very rude. I came in for a quote on a zipper repair on a dress. He quoted me $40 for the repair and I mentioned that that was more than the dress cost. As soon as I said that, he dismissed me immediately by walking back to his computer and getting back on the phone to finish the conversation he was having before I'd walked in. I understand he has a business to run, but common courtesy costs nothing. And the sad part is I was going to inquire with him about a commercial account for my business, but he completely turned me off. read more

I was not pleased with my visit that was less than 3 minutes because I couldn't even stand to be in the room with him & how he was talking to me. I needed my measurements JUST my measurements because I am going to be apart of a fashion show and getting a dress made and because I didn't know the kind of dress it was going to be or the cloth he wouldn't measure me. which makes NO sense because he does not have to alter or manipulate the dress I JUST needed for my bust, arms, legs, etc to be measured. SHIT, I would've even paid him to do the simplest task but he made it hard by being very rude to me. literally mid sentence I got my keys and walked out because he had an attitude that I asked for his help. Worst customer service. Took something in to get a zipper fixed, and when I went to go pick it up the zipper was backwards. No problem, until he forced me to pay for it. I'm sorry, I don't feel like I should pay for something till the mistake was fixed. I didn't care about waiting an extra week for my item, but nobody should force anyone to pay. Even better, when I finally just said ok I'll pay his machine wasn't reading my card. So he rudely snatched my debit card out of my hands and did it himself. When I went back to get my item he knew exactly who I was, and tried to back pedal the whole situation. I have been here twice. Once for a prom dress in 2009 and then another time in September of 2016. Both times were to shorten the shoulder straps on the dress. They turned out perfect! This place is a joke. Went to an award show a few days ago so my girlfriend decided to get some alterations done to her dress with a promise of it being done THE SAME DAY at 2:30. After paying extra for same day service the dress was not even started until we went in to pick it up. It took an extra 30 minutes for it to be done and ended up making us late.
