I'm so glad I found my home salon. I have been bouncing around checking out different salons since I moved to San Ramon. The ladies are always happy to see me and my 2 daughters. They remember us by name and what we like. They take their time regardless how busy they are making all of the clients feel special. I'm really enjoying the New Dip Product! This Salon's outdoor and socially-distanced set up is amazing! They taking cleaning and sanitization to the next level and try their best to make the experience as "normal" as possible. Never going back to this place. Got there 15 min earlier my appointment was at 12 they didn't get started until 12:10. I asked for ombré and she didn't know how to do it. Asked for gel polish and got dip powder. It all bumpy and not smooth. Left all around my nails dirty and ugly. Never going here ever again. read more

I normally go there because I have no other option that is convenient for me, but today was the worst. The lady doing my nails was on her phone, WHILE DOING MY NAILS. They obviously don't sterilize anything, and they decide to not do basic care for their technology. Like a couple of other reviewers, bleeding cuticles is a thing. I've been there around 5-6 times, and every time my cuticles end up being cut in some shape or form. I spent 2 hours there (because the lady was on her phone) and it was worthless. I have a photoshoot tomorrow and there is no way for anyone to fix these garbage nails. These are not worth it, and I won't be coming back here again. I only recommend if you want to something simple. Don't come in with high hopes or a design. read more

I used to love BR nails when they first opened but now that they've been around and have some consistent customers it seems like they have gone completely downhill. It was the most painful manicure and pedicure I have ever gotten. The woman doing my toes was digging with tools in my toes and I now have 3 ingrown toenails. The whole time I pulled my foot back from her in pain and she didn't care and kept going. I left with bloody cuticles on my fingers as well because they are SO rough. To start off from the very beginning the ladies had some weird attitude toward me and my mom, but we simply ignored it. Me and my mom both got pedicures, I had Amy and she had Anne. We were seated after a 5 minute wait, as soon as they started we could tell that both of the ladies were talking about me and mom. I had a blister on my toe so I simply said could you please go softer on my right foot, she responded with, yes, I can tell you have a foot problem, she goes to my mom and says when her nails grow they go wild and that's why she has this problem in her foot. This made me annoyed because my blister was from dance and not because of my toe nails, she gave me the wrong diagnosis. Throughout the whole appointment they were making little comments here are there. I came here with my best friend today and the service sucked. The women were nice but were rushing us. The woman who worked on me took forever for a classic pedicure. She asked me to for a callus treatment and I said yes but she couldn't even clean my cuticles correctly. My feet were not 100% at all. She took over 1 hour. I could only imagine how long a deluxe would take. Not only did they do a horrible job, they completely forgot I wanted a manicure. Since we were in such a time crunch I didn't even want it done anymore. I don't understand how this place had 5 stars when service was less than mediocre. It's one this to take your time and have perfect toes done, it's another to waste my time and have work look like no one knew what they were doing. read more

Eh.. I could have done this at home for free. I got the deluxe pedicure for $40, came with pedicure basics, warm wax wrap, and a hot stone massage. Pedicure: The old lady was so sweet and did a good massage, but her nail work was child-like. My toenails are now all different shapes and lengths, I was so shocked by how bad it looked I asked for just clear polish (I did not want to risk a bad paint job as well). Business: Dirty!!! I know there was a lot of customers but the salon was so messy. The floor had obviously not been swept in a while, and the towels they used looked stained. I was in a chair at the back of the salon and every time the wax specialist left the wax room she left the door open! I could see her customer laid out on the bed. No respect for the woman's privacy. Overall poor quality, and dirty salon. There has to be a better option in Sam Ramon. read more

Decent job but had to request she clean up my cuticles. Isn't that part of the standard manicure? Also, I wanted a gel but they insisted on their powder manicure. While it was a great polish, it was considerably more expensive. AND other salons charge extra to remove that stuff. They have to use an electric nail file. It takes time and is hard on your nails. read more

Writing this review as I am sitting in my car waiting for my toe nails to dry because I was rushed out the door 2 minutes after they finished painting my toe nails. The pedicure, massage and overall service felt rushed. Terrible customer service, it feels and looks dirty. The only reason I came here was because my other place was closed. Never coming back. So happy with this place! I had never heard about the dip powder but Leena, the new owner told me about it. It lasts super long without chipping and actually helped my nails grow! The worst experience I have had in awhile. I came in and noticed that they only accept cash or check. I was ready to leave because the place was not very nice looking and she said no I will take your card. I need to get my nails done so I went in. The pedicurist cut me and it hurt so bad. No new kits for each customer so that made me nervous. I love the dip colors best selection in this area and she said they had matching. She hastily cut my nails...did not trim my cuticles AT ALL! Then I was informed they have nothing close to matching for my toes. She told me I was done. No lotion or massage on my hands, no cuticle cut down and I had leftover powder and sealant all over my hands but the price was same as other places. Not a good experience and I wish more places had their dip selection in this area but I can't justify 80 bucks with tip for that kind of service. In total I paid 110 with tip because I had my baby's nails painted. Then I went to pay and she saw I had cash in my wallet. She was like you need to use cash. I said but I don't have enough and you said it was ok. She again got annoyed and charged me $2.00 more but the cost was not disclosed upfront. No one hardly spoke to me either. Long overdue ! It took me some time to find this place but I've been so impressed I continue to come back. I have never had dip nails last so long without peeling up on the edges. This is my fourth time getting dip here and each one has lasted 3 weeks. I end up going in because they've grown out so much instead of them falling off on the edges. Got nails expecting I'd get engaged that weekend and Olivia did an AMAZING job with the powder dip nails!! Clean place & nice employees!

Pros - so far (only at about 5 days), the powder dip appears to be longer lasting and seems not to chip as much as the shellac/gel nails have in the past. My nails grow fast and almost always as soon as there is even the slightest gap between my cuticles and the nail, shellac/gel will start to peel. There's already a gap with these, and no peeling so far. I appreciate that - but I'm pretty sure that is also partly due to the product (this is my first time trying the powder dips). Cons - where do I start...1) they only accept cash, but there are no signs posted, so you get the service before you know (they do have an atm in the store); 2) they do NOT use new tools for each customer and I am 99% certain they do not sanitize them between uses (there were no sanitizing stations in sight and I saw them pick up a dirty buffer/file to use on me and other customers); 3) I honestly don't believe all of their techs are licensed. 4) the overall quality/result is mediocre (at best), but they charge like a high end spa. 5) Not to mention all the issues below... I've been here twice now. The first time was deluxe pedicure only. The overall service was fine (not great), but they burnt me with a hot stone (the massage was only mediocre). As in, had a burn mark, it scabbed over, and peeled, burn. It was bad and it was obvious as soon as it happened. No offer of discount, no I'm sorry, nothing. I get it, mistakes happen, I let it go and tried not to hold it against them (though it did call into question whether they were actually trained in doing hot stone massages - I do not believe they are and was not able to see a license/training on the wall during my second visit). The second time, I did a manicure (dipped powder) and a deluxe pedicure. The pedicure took 2 hours...2 hours. I get it was deluxe, but I think this tech was just slow. It did not take that long the first time I went, and this time a group of three women came in well after me, had pedicures done (not deluxe, but still) and left before she had even got to a point where she could paint my nails. The manicure in general looks ok, but 1) she over cut my cuticles - I had two spots that bled on and off for a day and half and are still sore 5 days later (note the not cleaning tools - bacterial infection anyone?). 2) for some reason, she cut the sides of my nails off to make them appear thinner?? it looks weird. Several of my nails now look too small for my hands. She showed me the first one (which she did not cut the sides off of) to ask if the shape was right (it was), so I wasn't watching until about 7 more fingers in when I noticed what she was doing. When they start growing out, I will have a weird corner poking out on each side that I'll either have to file, or cut off the nail to make it look normal again. 3) the powder is really thick. I had french tips done...I think she did 3 or 4 layers on each finger. It does not look natural at all. They look like fake nails. Which, when you have nice real nails that you just want a little added layer to make them stronger (what the gel does), it's a bit excessive. Overall, there are just too many negatives (especially the cleanliness issue). I'm sure some of the techs are great, but the overall pros vs cons. Not returning. read more

I had given this nail salon a bad review for damaging my purse and the way they responded to the damage at the time really upset me. I contacted the owner who had the salon manager pick my purse up for repair. They were unable to repair it but somehow found a new bag exactly the same and purchased it for me. In the end it wasn't the mistake that was made but how they responded to that mistake that mattered. I was so upset about the incident I realized that my original review didn't talk about my nails. Really bad experience. The lady that did my pedicure had a hand brace and could barely do anything ( forget about a massage) plus she was handling the cash register and check ins while she was doing my pedicure. That is unacceptable!! I'm sorry but please have staff that is able to give a professional service if you want to charge full price for your services. read more

Heard about this place from a friend, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!! I was blown away from how many color dip power they had! 400 colors, and they specialize in it! They do a nice job with manicures on being gentle and not ripping out cuticles! Will definitely be going back! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Perfect nails! I got a gel manicure and a gel French pedicure. They were both done 100% perfectly. I am very picky about my nails and they did a great job. I also had a nail problem that they fixed....the last place I went to for a gel ruined my nails; they sanded them down so much they were so brittle that they could hardly handle a gel manicure. This place fixed it! They added a layer of the powder used for acrylics over my nails, making my nails brand new and super strong. Most places would not have known what to do. Also a French pedicure is hard to do well; and they nailed it! read more
