I made an 11am appointment over the phone and they said they were able to fit me in. I sat in a station for 30 minutes past my time of appointment until someone finally came to ask what I wanted. She began shaving down my natural nails and proceeded to tell me that she was not able to give me what I wanted (dip with tips) because they do not have time. I was forced to leave this nail salon with shaved down nails and no service. No apology, waste of time. They refused to give me their names. Terrible place please do not come here!!!

Destroyed my nails! The crescent shaped pink marks on my nails are the results of the dremel drill used to remove/reapply

I've been getting gel dip manicures here regularly for several years and it was good...until recently they switched away from soaking the old gel tips in acetone to remove them and instead now use just a dry dremel drill bit. The first time with the drill was fine...but the removal of each subsequent set of gels drilled a little bit of the top of my nail and the nail beds were eventually compromised to the point where it would hurt/burn. I asked to not do the gel dips during the last couple visits but was told my nails with regular polish would be "not strong enough"....and boy are they right!! I finally said "No." to the gel and asked for acetone only removal of the gel and a regular manicure. The nails underneath were SOOO thin and sad :( See pic, the pink crescent shaped ridges left in my nails from the drill (removal and new gel application) were SO bad that she didn't want to put any color on the nails because the nails were "too lumpy" and it would look bad. My nails are paper thin and painful to any pressure...and who knows how long it will take to undo the damage?!? Do your self a favor and go somewhere else.

Pretty translucent pink glitter to brighten up my winter blues. Dip nail.

Amy did my dip nails and adjusted her drills to my sensitive nail beds. She did a good job repairing the nails on my right hand bcuz I chipped a few right after I had gotten them done last time. So was glad to get them done again. I prefer them trimmed down since they grow SO FAST. Another tech did my pedi and she was really gentle and efficient as well. They have a LOT of colors for regular color, but a little limited on dip nail colors w soft glitter and fuchsias, but Amy said they will get in a few new colors every two weeks. I'm still happier w dip nails as opposed to shellac. Less damage to nail beds and no UV lights.

Service is good.. sometimes I feel like they rush and it takes from the relaxation of being pampered.

My friend and I went to get our nails done and Lena recommended that we get our eyebrows done.

To tDouglas M- this is my reply to you! As someone who works in customer service, this review…read morehonestly reads less like constructive feedback and more like someone looking for something to be upset about. A short wait, a staff member stepping away, or a moment of confusion is normal in any business -- especially one that's clearly served you well for years. Most people understand that. What's disappointing is seeing a long, dramatic write‑up over something so minor, especially when the employees you're criticizing are real people doing their best. Turning a brief inconvenience into a public takedown doesn't make the business look bad -- it highlights how unforgiving and unrealistic some customers have become. If this is the worst thing you've experienced here after years of good service, that actually speaks volumes about the quality of the staff. Not every moment needs to be escalated into a Yelp saga. A little patience and basic empathy would have gone further than this review did.

I have been coming here for years, even when it was lunch box, and never had a problem, until now…read more So I'm giving them 3 stars but normally I would give 5 stars (if this was my first or second time, it would be 1 star and I would not return). I come in once or twice a year, usually before a beach type vacation to get my back waxed. They have always had someone at the front desk when I walk in, but not this last visit. Let me mentioned before getting into it, the place is always clean, the entrance, Hallway and wax rooms. The wax service is always fast, professional and as relaxing as it can be getting waxed. I never had a scheduling problem until now either. This last experience was not good. I arrived at 1030 my scheduled time, but no one was at the front desk, but I could hear someone talking on the phone in the room behind the desk. I waited 5 minutes figuring they would come out, but no, so I start to ask if anyone here? No response for 2-3 min, so I asked again, then a lady with black and purple hair comes out of the room and say someone will be right with me and turns back around into the room to continue to talk on the phone, as if I was bothering her at work!! Then a few minutes later, another person comes out from down the hall (I think she was actually with a client) and asked if I have been helped, I said no and told her my appointment was at 1030, she tells me the appointment was at 1040 (this was at 1042, already past my apparently rescheduled appointment) and said someone will be with me shortly. Then the other lady that was talking on the phone comes out from the room behind the desks. I sat there about 5 more mins until my wax person arrives, say sorry for being late, and gets ready (it appears they changed the appointment because the wax person was running late), they never told me they changed the appointment time (no text like all the other notifications, which I like from this place). The appointment was never changed on the website, only locally, maybe they just lied for her, and told me 10:40. Oh and no one ever came out of the room behind the desk after the phone call lady, while I was waiting for my room to be ready. It was clearly a personal call at work and she didn't want to be bothered at work. At the end, I still tipped, against my better judgement, a lower 10% rather that the usually 20%. The wax person was late, but apologized. I think I will return because up until this time it has been great, but not sure.

Had my eyebrows and ear waxing done and unfortunately I left pretty disappointed. My eyebrows came…read moreout completely mismatched -- one corner was made way too thin while the other stayed noticeably thicker. The ear waxing process was also much more painful than I've experienced before, and during it, wax got into the hair near my ear. After several minutes of trying to remove it with some kind of liquid, the only solution ended up being cutting that piece of hair off because the wax wouldn't come out. Overall, not a good experience and I won't be returning.

I am absolutely furious right now. I have never been this upset about a wax service in my life…read moreuntil today. My regular waxer at a different location called out sick so I had to book last minute at the San Ramon branch. I have avoided this location for a reason because I have had back to back terrible experiences here before. One time I was left waiting almost 40 minutes for my appointment. Another time I walked out with a bunch of hair left behind. Today I booked with any available specialist and ended up with Sarah. She was nice and talkative, but the second she started applying the wax I could tell she had no idea what she was doing. Every experienced waxer I have been to applies wax in one smooth direction. Sarah was going back and forth like she was mixing some kind of potion. She kept wiping the area with a wet wipe before almost every strip which made it impossible for the wax to stick or pull out the hair properly. When she told me she was done I looked at the area and was shocked. There was so much hair left everywhere and the area was messy with stray hairs still stuck to my skin. I asked her to go over it again which she did but the results were just as bad. It still looked unfinished and uneven. I was supposed to get another service but I was so angry I told her I was leaving. I complained to the front desk and they said they would schedule a touch up two hours later. I was already irritated that I had to drive all the way to San Ramon for this disaster and now they expected me to come back. I agreed at first but something came up and I had to call multiple times to try and move it around. I ended up not being able to make it. When I got home hours later I found wax still all over the area she worked on and even on my clothes. I called furious and demanded to be comped for this so-called service. I came in for a clean wax and left with a mess and a worse experience than before. They said a manager would call me within two days. We will see if that even happens. I will never ever come back to this location ever again.
