I've been coming to Bella nail spa for the past 6 years and have never been disappointed. They're very open to feedback and requests you may have for any art or vision you're trying to recreate. I've gotten acrylics here, gel manicures but these days I go in for their deluxe gel pedicure. I always get French tip bunch switch up my colors and they are always consistent with their work. They're very clean and organized. Kevin and Tao are so great at what they do along with the rest of the staff!! I love coming in. They recently just upgraded the pedicure massage chairs, bowls and manicure desks and their chairs along with their waiting area sofas! I'm always rooting for their success and take some business cards with me to refer to my friends! My family loves coming here and I also come with my best friends! I've introduced so many of my loved ones to this salon and they only have positive things to say. Don't let the negative reviews scare you, this is my favorite, professional, clean and honest nail salon in the area!! They even help you pick a color that would best match your complexion. I asked for simple white toes, nothing special, and they didn't try at all. There were clear lines where the new coat started and it was chunky. I would recommend just buying white nail polish and doing it yourself. I gave 3 stars because my acrylics look good but the sides were missed and chunks of acrylic powder were stuck under my nail that I had to file on my own at home. I probably won't be back. I came with a friend here and had a bad experience. The woman doing my feet was okay. I was happy that it was only $5 to get the callous treatment. I was shocked though that they wanted to charge me extra for 3 colors of nail polish - not a design but colors. I have always had this at my normal place and this didn't make sense. It is just nail polish. It doesn't take a lot of extra time and that was just ridiculous. They ended up not charging me but the whole time after I felt like they were talking about me in their language. Way to lose a first-time customer from ever coming back! So extremely disappointed and upset with the results of my arylic set. $75 for a short sqaure French tip with 2 pink bows painted on each hand. Okay no problem. The issue I have is paying that much to receive poorly done nails. 4 nails are extremely crooked. Called the next day and spoke with Phuong Thao letting her know I got this set done by holly the day before and need it fixed immediately. Came in after work and after showing Thao the nails she said "that's how it goes did you want it straight ? " I replied yes. I was confused are they not supposed to be straight ? Are you supposed to be given slanted nails ? She filled 2 fingers down and reapplied clear coat. So now $75 later I have crooked nails and 2 that are shorter than the others. This place is only good when you are getting fake nails. If you are getting gel, go to someplace else. They left my nails extremely thin and filed so terribly. They booked 3 appointments at the same time and only had 4 people working, mostly focused on the walk-ins. It was a horrible experience. My appt was at 11 and they didn't attempt to start me until 11:45, well after the others I came with were complete. On top of everything, there was no apology, no type of compensation, nothing. SUPER UNHYGIENIC DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK INFECTION I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I did a walk in with my mom to get our nails done without looking up the place first because we were close by ...and it was the worst nail experience of my life. 1. Not sanitizing tools and legit using them for 2 people before my mom and I. The woman was using the same tool on multiple people to remove cuticles and also file. My mom let it slide and was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt thinking she was busy and forgot but when she went to another client with the same tools then tried to come back to me, I told her it was not ok... she rolled her eyes and then got a new sanitized tool... It's common knowledge to know that using the same tools per client is risk of infection and should not be reused with out proper sanitation. It also should not be on the client to request standard sanitized/ safe tools. 2. cuticles we're not cleaned properly and whatever they out on our hands , dried them out 3. my mom got a simple French and they could not even paint a simple white line. They got paint all over her finger? They couldn't even properly paint a simple nail style or attempt to wipe it off? There are many nail salons in the area, do yourself a favor and skip this one. After my amazing experience at the Bella Nail Spa in San Ramon, I am confident that I will be coming back. Being an athlete, I never get acrylics done for my nails so I always resort to gel nails. I have been to multiple nail salons in the past, searching for someone who could do the glaze/chrome finish for gel nails, but none of the salons were successful. At Bella Nail Spa, they have the largest collection of colors i've ever seen and when you show them a picture of what you want, there's a high chance that's what you're going to get. When I showed them a picture of pink glazed nails and asked for a gel finish, they delivered without hesitation. Something I liked about this place is that they were efficient while also not being too rough. The service was great and the price for gel nails was a little over $40 which I would say is reasonable. I called before work was over at 5 and asked if I can come at 530 since they closed at 700 they said sure can you be here at 515 i said no because I work in Livermore. They said yes come, I come in get seated and as im looking through the colors i show her what im looking for she says the color doesnt pop because your skin is to dark im like ok thhis is still want i want .the lady who did my feet did a good job still a bit rushed but she was so nice l. I did feel really rushed at the end, they close at 7 and it was only 620 and they were rushing to finish to leave early. My thing is if you close at a specific time why are you rushing to leave at 630. At the end I expected a massage ,cuticle oil and just touch ups but as soon as the design was done she gave me bath and body work lotion and said do it yourself. Called a couple weeks ago to get my nails done for an event. Got a price quote and an appointment. Gel mani and regular pedi for $65 and $20 tips are not bad at all. Both of the technicians were nice, friendly and did a great job. The salon was clean and nice. Everyone who worked there had a nice smile on their face which was awesome. And most importantly, there was no gossip or bad talk about customers which I appreciate. I left the previous nail salon because the prices were all over the place (who wants to deal with surprises when paying) and the worse was the gossip about customers (don't assume customers don't understand the language.) There is absolutely no other place I would rather get my nails done than bella nails. I have never ever had a problem with my nails where I disliked them or they were wrong. Although they can be aggressive with your nails at times, it is worth the result of your nails. I have been going here for about 5 years now and have referred them to about 100+ different people and they always have a good response after their visit. I didn't get a massage, the hot towel got cold so fast and left on my legs to the point of me being freezing cold. When I mentioned I didn't get a massage the guy came over and said I didn't notice the massage because I was talking to my sister. Lol. Really?!? Like I wouldn't notice a massage? He was aggressive about it too! Also, the salt scrub was just applied to my legs but not rubbed in AT ALL. As you can see by the picture, they didn't even remove the dirt under my nails....( I was doing yard work prior to coming in) They literally forgot to apply polish to my sister's nails and she had to ask. Wow...come here if you want madddd attitude from the nail techs...just left my appointment wow just wow...Kevin and the nail tech next to him kept yelling at each other about my nails. Kevin is known for doing great designs so I brought in a picture of these groovy colorful nails. After shaping my nails he pons me off to the nail tech next to him which is clearly having a bad day and was giving him attitude the entire time I was there, so I was dismayed when he told her to do my design. The reason that he sent me to her is because this lady without an appointment came in and he took her while I, who had an appointment with him just got tossed off to someone else. Lady was nice and we became friends which was the ONLY positive out of the whole experience. Anyway, nail tech was super slow at my nails and then Kevin hopped back on my nails completely messing them up so she hopped back on and partially fixed his bad work. At the end, the nails were streaky and no opacity, so i asked her to go over some of the colors again and she lost it and started yelling and Kevin yelled back at her and I was completely uncomfortable. Never going back again. I will take my business to someone else. The nail salon should be a relaxing place and this was far from it. Ive never had such an experience. To top it off, in the end when I was venmoing him to pay I thought I heard $55 so I asked again and he said what I thought was $55 so I venmoed $60. I usually give at least a $10 tip but I was going $5 because of how awful the experience was an my nails were just as awful but I felt like tipping was the right thing to do, but hold up, Kevin yells at me and says "Its $65, $65, 6,5" ummmm im sorry I couldn't hear you nor understand you because of the language barrier no need to yell and be so rude. So then I venmoed him $5 and left without giving them any tip. They should learn how to properly run a business and give clients what they ask for. If you cant donit, simply say NO. I finally snapped when I had to say yet again "no, I JUST want a gel manicure." A manicure should be a relaxing thing, not such a stressful event. The manicure was fine. Still going pretty strong after 9 days (picture of purple polish attached). But I loved this place because they knew me my name and were friendly. He is so meticulous and thorough. Kevin gives you exactly what you ask for but better! He doesn't settle for good enough, he goes for perfection!
