None of the staff were wearing masks (front and back of house), and servers didn't seem concerned about maintaining distance even without masks. This is the first restaurant I've been to in the 30A area during COVID that didn't have employees wearing masks when interacting with food/beverage or guests. I almost left because of this but stayed, as it was the fourth restaurant I tried to go to for dinner as a non-reservation walk-in (none of the others had space available). I did appreciate that they put reserved signs next to you at the bar to discourage other parties from sitting right next to you, to maintain distancing at least in that regard. The food was just ok. I ordered off of the Happy Hour menu, which was a great deal, but I wasn't wowed by what I ordered (French onion soup and a fried grouper sandwich). Reminded me of higher-end pub fare. read more

Happy Hour is posted as 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Got there at 5:00 pm all excited to have good food and drinks and they said we needed to be seated by 4:45 pm for Happy Hour! We certainly were not happy about that! Why advertise something to get people in and then change it once they arrive? The website says nothing about having to be there for 4:45 pm. Came down to the area for 5 days and this was my first stop for dinner. This restaurant never disappoints. Hunter was our server and he made some great recommendations. This is a great place for a special occasion dinner. We celebrated our anniversary here, and the food was delicious. Service is outstanding also. Crab and corn chowder, filet, and grouper were especially tasty. We went to the bar last week for their happy hour specials and menu (4:30-6 pm). The flat bread and sliders were delicious! Today is Mother's Day, we planned ahead to be sure we could find a nice place to eat. Cuvee 30a had a page on their website dedicated to Mother's day, we thought this would be a good choice. It was a good choice BUT it was their regular dinner menu at lunch time. That's not a bad thing, but I confess that I was disappointed because I was expecting and looking forward to a brunch menu. As always, our service was fabulous and the food was outstanding. It was quite expensive, which I would have known had I known it was the dinner menu. Just an informational review in case someone is checking in for next year's Mother's day you should specifically ask, maybe they will change and offer brunch. read more

Food is spot on. Service, except for Chris C., is superb. Wife, aunt, and daughter went last month and he treated them poorly by speaking down to them and only recited the menu when asked questions about a dish. If you are paying around $100 per person, you should at least get some respect. Make chauvinism is not warranted in a high price restaurant that serves top end dishes. read more

Suggested by a close friend and foodie... she didn't let me down. I popped in for happy hour and tried the smoked tomato soup, bread with dipping sauce and fried green tomatoes with warm Brie and sautéed crawfish. YUM! We drove 2 hours to celebrate my birthday! We eat out four or five days a week at the best restaurant's in the panhandle of Florida also Nola's best seafood and we were very excited about trying Cuvee30A! Our waiter informed us that no mater what we ordered it would be the best food we have had in five years! Wow we were excited for our evening! I had the famous pecan crusted grouper and my wife had the duck. This was the absolute worst fish I've ever had it was rubbery and definitely not grouper! Actually swai or tilapia would have been an upgrade! The Duck was way over cooked, this is definitely a tourist trap and at $500 for four people, stay away this place is a joke! If you want a nice seafood place drive to Pensacola beach to the Grand Marlin it's always spot on and super fresh! read more

I took my husband here tonight for his birthday. If I could leave zero stars I would the service was good but the food was horrible. My husbands grouper was like rubber so he replaced with scallops the scallops were undercooked and slimy. I would rather eat at McDonald's on a bad day rather than ever eating here again. I ordered half duck it was overcooked and had zero flavor besides the sickening sweet sauce that they drowned the plate with. We celebrated a birthday here last night. The food and service (by Jacob) was fabulous. A good waiter is worth their weight in gold. It is part of the overall dining experience. Jacob is top notch. The food was really good. I had the pecan crusted grouper and it was cooked perfectly. We tried 3 different appetizers and the fried oysters were our favorite. Giving two stars based on previous experience, not the most recent. We like to go to happy hour and sit at the bar and chat. Normally the servers are attentive and the food is ok if you stick with the burger or sliders. The main menu is overpriced and overly sweet with odd combos such as fried green tomatoes with Brie. The grouper dish is covered with soggy pecans and what smelled like maple syrup. It's best to stick to the basics! Recently we went with our daughter and sat at the bar. We ordered multiple appetizers and drinks. After snacking, we ordered entrees. Our entrees arrived but no one asked if we wanted anything else to drink. I waited and waited but our server never even made eye contact. I never got to order wine and I had to flag down a bar back to even get water. Finally she came by and we ordered a glass of wine. Well we finished and ordered dessert and asked again about the wine but it never came. She did remember to put it on our bill though! We reminded her to take it off. Not a great experience for $200. We had the best time here. Group of ten coming in at 8 pm; we made reservations a few weeks in advance. The food was AMAZING (I had the special- halibut, others had short rib, kids red pasta, steak, and crab legs). We also had several drinks and all of the sampler desserts. Our server was Jacob and he was incredible! He was very kind to all of us, quick to serve, and especially good to our 7 year old who is just starting to order from servers herself. Fabulous date night spot! Enjoyed a rum punch and a pear elderflower martini with the heirloom tomato salad to start, flavorful and refreshing. The pecan crusted grouper was phenomenal, paired with the potato cake for him and the burrata mashed for her. Best meal in the area. Our server was just as great as the meal and complied with our request to wear a mask. Three of the four in our party ordered the grouper. The fish and the potato it was served on were outstanding. We ordered a side filet and brussel sprouts for the table and were so glad we did. While some of the food was delicious, including the seafood tower and the seared tuna, my party had some issues with the cleanliness and food preparation in the restaurant. There unfortunately was a roach on a plate that was served to the table without inspection. Upon realizing this, the restaurant proceeded to reimburse us with a 50 dollar gift card, which in my opinion, was insufficient, as the restaurant's prices ran very high. Additionally, the crab and corn bisque had multiple crab shells in it, which, after the roach incident, was a big let down for our party. To summarize: BUG ON TABLE. BAD. We came to Sandestin for the weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday. I looked for chef's tasting menus online and stumbled upon Cuvee 30A. I decided to give it a shot and reserved the chef's tasting. When we arrived we were led back to the wine room where a cheese plate was already waiting. I ordered some caviar and champagne to start. We enjoyed it in the wine room then Leah led us the the table which is right across from the pass, facing the kitchen where all the excitement is. We selected 8 plates from the menu and very soon were enjoying our first plate with wines they had selected. The fried green tomatoes, Chilean Sea Bass, and bone-in filet were all outstanding. Our server Leah (hopefully I spelled that right!) was charming. Thanks for helping to make our night special! read more

This is a fantastic place. It is a modern open place with lots of windows. We were a party of 14 and they did a fantastic job waiting on us. The food and drink at this place is superb. Green beans were canned green beans. Everyone at the table agreed. One of the entrees wasn't ordered and came out 15 min after the others and was extremely salty. I ordered the specialty steak of the day. It was a rib-eye cap priced at $58. The dish consisted of 4 slices of rib-eye cap. No restaurant of this caliber/price should be serving canned green beans. I've been visiting this restaurant for 5 years, the food is consistently good, the martinis are amazing, and they have a great wine list. But what highlights this place IMO is the outstanding costumer service. Recently we were served by Jacob, we was fantastic, the perfect balance between friendly and profesional (which is hard to find). Part of my family is vegan and, before we made the reservation, we confirm they could accommodate that (there are not many fine dining vegan options in the area.) The chef had prepared a vegan selection of 3 delicious courses, he even made almond cheese from scratch, we were all very impressed. Im only giving it 4 stars because I consider the restaurant a little expensive. The happy hour is very nice because you can get a good deal and there is live music at the bar. read more

Had a great dinner with friends celebrating a 45 yr friendship at this very inviting restaurant. Jacob was our server. He was accommodating and easy going with a big smile. He loves his work and is exceptional at it. He took pictures of our group and was part of several pictures as well. Jacob made suggestions on entrees and also wine pairings for each. I had the pork chop on his recommendation and it was flavorful, juicy and delicious. I'm still thinking about that chop!!
