We had two vegetarians in our party who ordered off the vegetarian menu. They brought out their food and had began eating. After further inspection, both of their meals did in fact have lobster in the pasta. What is the point of ordering off the vegetarian menu if they won't even make it vegetarian? They didn't even remake one of the pastas. But offered a free desert instead. And we still had to pay 30$ for each of them. Also, if you are hungry don't come here because their portion sizes are insanely small and we will be eating more when we get home. read more

I have no complains about the food. What I had ( even though it was only sides, since they had no vegetarian options) was really delicious. But I'm really suspirar such a nice restaurant was not following any of the safety guidelines for Covid. Not only they were not requiring customers to wear a mask but nobody on the staff was wearing one either. That is a lil disappointing. We had to travel this year for our anniversary with our dog. We called and made reservations at this restaurant and notified them we would need one of their outside dog tables. The person that took our reservations was so sweet and understanding. When we got there the wind was cold and it wasn't really outside weather. They ended up accommodating us inside the restaurant in the bar area in the corner. It was perfect! The food was so delicious. I had the halibut fish and my husband had the pork chop! It was the most moist pork ever. Our server was absolutely knowledgeable and awesome. My husband had the chocolate covered bacon old fashioned. He said it was smooth and delicious (the bourbon is fat washed with bacon fat). Must try! The restaurant and staff made our night! Thank you so much. read more

We tried this restaurant on 30A for the first time during their happy hour. We sat at the bar area because they had a special event going on for the holidays. We ordered few drinks from the happy hour menu along with some tapas. I must say their tapas are delicious. Everything was delicious! I loved the shrimp with habanero sauce and escargot and their spring rolls. Everything was unique and tasted really good. Their martinis were very good too. I tried the pear and cosmo and both were great. The food arrived quickly so service was exceptional. Their prices during happy hour aren't the most affordable so keep that in mind but still, it's so worth dining there. I tried their roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprout for my main course and it was cooked perfectly. The chicken was moist and juicy. It was cooked to perfection. Next time I look forward to trying their steak which is highly recommended as well. Overall I love this place for the drinks and variety of tapas! That's all I'm having next time. From start to finish the experience was spectacular. The level of service from Jacob (aka Johnny...on the spot) was attentive, humorous and "on-the-spot". Ask for him if you can. The butter lettuce wedge style salad was a great start, followed by the entree-sized sea scallops with the chef's feature preparation. The dinner ended with a well-assorted dessert sampler. The food was awesome. One of the best tasting blue cheese dressings with the wedge salads. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the scallop dish with roasted apples, butternut squash and a cinnamon seasoning over the top was amazing. Our server Jacob was AWESOME!! A great knowledge of all the dishes and perfect with every recommendation during our dinner. The patio seating was beautiful with live music playing on the Ramada close to the restaurant. Umm, every one star review of this place is ridiculous. Maybe they struggled post covid with staffing, but we could not have had a better experience in July of 2021. We had an early reservation and were seated right away. Service was impeccable. not just our waiter (who was awesome) but the entire staff. All the food was fantastic including bread, salads (beet and heirloom tomato) and entrees (scallop, sea bass, and tuna). Tuna entree was on the smaller side, but waiter warned me (and lets face it, workouts have been few and far between at the beach). We were drinking an everyday California savaugn blanc, when sommelier suggested a slightly better one that was a great value (Dakota shy for $70). We loved it so much I asked my wine guy (who owns a shop in Yountville) about it. he said its limited release, 100 cases, and sells out right away. he cant get it. I have eaten in nice restaurants all over the US, and this is best experience I have had in a long time! read more

We cannot begin to express our shear joy that we experienced while dining at Cuvée. Our server was Jacob and he was probably the best we have ever had anywhere, and we've dined all over the world. He had such knowledge of every single menu item as well as the specials. He seemed to even read our minds as to what we were all hungry for!!! We started off with delicious cocktails. Then a very nice bottle of brunello. All were served with perfection. Next our appetizers were all outstanding! The crab and corn bisque was exquisite!! The beet salad was fantastic as were the fried oysters. The fish special was halibut with a lobster and crab sauce. Needless to say it was amazing!!! The tuna was also delicious! I keep reading these reviews and wondering where in the world these guy's actually ate dinner. This was some of the best food I have ever had at the beach and I am a food snob. Its Prime Choice Filet and incredibly good sides. The bread and butter was also very good. I never had bad service and we went 2 times while we were there. Give this place a try. We went on Valentine's Day expecting a wonderful dinner. We have been fans of Cuvee 30A and the one that closed down in Destin for over 12 years. Quality of food was terrible. No sear on the venison and very underwhelming. I had the halibut and it was very overcooked and dry. We also got a side of jalapeño au gratin potatoes. This was so incredibly greasy, we couldn't take more than two bites. Service was fine. Everything was so ridiculously expensive. No more bread service either. We dined at Cuvee 30a for the first time last night, after years of vacationing to 30a. We were a party of 6 adults and seated promptly upon arrival for our reservation. Let's talk the good and the... not so good. The good: the food! The food was delicious. Our table enjoyed the seafood tower, king crab, an ahi tuna, a steak, scallops, gumbo and salads, finished with a dessert sampler. All the food was superb. IF we ever decided to return, it would be because of the great food and drink. Drinks were delicious. A table favorite was the "New Old Fashioned" and the "Lime and Coconut." The desert sampler was the perfect sample to try everything- and the dessert martinis hit the spot! The not so good: the service. We were seated outside and Jacob was our server. We are a table of former servers/bartenders and current/former restaurant managers. Honestly, Jacob couldn't have gotten a better table regarding patience, understanding, and tippers. We were originally greeted without any eye contact. We repeatedly had to ask for drinks. One appetizer was forgotten. And when we asked to order salads after the appetizers arrived and then order entrees after salads, Jacob let us know he'd prefer to go ahead and get it all in now. We didn't wan to feel rushed, but that exactly how he made us feel. At one point in the meal, one of our guests kindly asked Jacob "do you feel that we are happy with the level of service we have received?" He was hoping that we could turn the meal around, and mentioned that we felt rushed. Instead, Jacob was not accommodating, did not offer drinks unless we specifically asked. When asked for one couple to be split off the check and stating what they had ordered, he rudely interrupted responding "I know exactly what they had." All in all, we had a $785 meal and service that left us scratching our heads. read more

Well, number one our server went above and beyond and was just a top notch waiter. You can go to a lot of restaurants and the food can be good but if your service is horrible it just makes the whole event unpleasant. In this case the food was amazing and so was the service. I've had bad waiters, OK waiters, good waiters, and great waiters. A great waiter plus great food, ding ding ding we have a winner. We started off with the fried green tomato with brie and mild Sriracha sauce and I wish I could explain it better but you just have to get it because it was that good. We also did their heirloom tomato which also was excellent, and for our entrée my husband and I both had the fillet which was cooked perfectly, tender moist with that really nice crispy char on top. I had a martini which I loved it was served in a stainless steel martini glass which just made me want to go out and buy some of those so I can have them at home. We also both had a nice glass of Chardonnay, our waiter picked them out for each one of us and they were absolutely perfect. We ended the evening with their chocolate Sin flourless cake with a raspberry sauce and I have to say it was a perfect ending for a perfect meal. Hopefully he won't mind me telling you his name but our waiter at cuvée was Jacob, so if you go there I would try to ask for him, he will make your dining a complete experience. I would add that if you have a restaurant on 30 A I would highly recommend trying to steal Jacob to come and train your wait staff.... Lol. We made reservations and they gave you a 40 dollar fee if you didn't show up. I just don't see the point it's rude. We got there and were seated quickly, they took our drink order and took 10 minutes to get us our drinks like what. We then ordered appetizers that came out fairly fast and was really good. Then we ordered dinner, they didn't have a kids menus at all which I think is pathetic, I'm not gonna order my kid a 40 dolled meal that doesn't come with any type of side, you have to pay extra for it. After that it took about an hour maybe over an hour to get our food, why... The food was good I just don't see why it would take that long. Overall I would give a 2/5. read more

I didn't have any issues with the service. Our waiter was very good and we were sat right away. (We had a reservation). Unfortunately, the food was not the best. I had the beet salad but it was dry lumps of beets with goat cheese sort of stuck to them and they were pretty dry. Definitely needed some dressing or something. We ordered the very expensive king crab legs but they were definitely previously frozen. They were served cold (which they did tell us in advance), but they were like watery.. like they were still defrosting. Every bite you took, left cold water in your mouth. Came here for our main family meal on Christmas day. Had reservations but still had to wait 10-15 minutes just to be seated. Nothing on the menu looked appetizing so I just went with the smoked tomato and shrimp soup and the beet salad. The smoked part of the soup was a little over-whelming and that's really all you can taste and it came with a total of.... 1 shrimp.. The beet salad contained roughly 50% goat cheese and the mustard did not do the salad any flavors. The best thing about this place was they got the kids orders in fast and the kids got their food 20-30 minutes before everyone else which was great as it kept them occupied. The kids meal burgers are HUGE. And they were delicious, why not have those on your menu for adults? read more

It pains me to leave a one star review as our previous visit was great. But we came here for the second time on vacation and had the absolute worst experience ever! We were sat outside and waited for quite a while for anyone to come get our drink order, which at the time I was fine with. When the "waiter" did come over he took my wife's wine order, then I asked him if they had any non alcoholic beer option which he rudely replied no. When asking about juice options for my seven year old son he rudely replied that they were all freshly squeezed and super expensive and he refused to check to see how much or what flavors (which we found out later they were only $1!). After another sarcastic remark my wife asked if it was possible to get another server which he then laughed in her face and walked away, to which I followed him and asked who his manager was. I told the manager the situation and she quickly got us a new waiter who was very pleasant. Unfortunately the rude waiter had a table next to us and kept giving us stares and saying comments under his breath as he walked by. The last straw was when he rolled his eyes to my 15 month old son walking a crawling around and said excuse me sir I'm trying to work here while there was more than enough space to walk around us. He then accused us of harassing him and got his manager again. I've eaten at 5 star restaurants across the country with my wife and kids and never ever experienced such a rude and obnoxious server. I will never step foot into this place again. The management should be ashamed they even put someone of this character on their floor! read more

We popped in here for a cocktail before our dinner at a different restaurant in the strip. WOW, what a great old fashioned. Incredible flavors served perfectly. My wife had a wonderful martini as well. Since we had a couple of teens with us, we didn't think this was the best place for them to have dinner. A bit pricey. A review from someone who didn't eat there (Not for lack of trying, though. Which brings me to this non-traditional review.) We've dined at Cuvée in the past and it was very good. Why we didn't make reservations there for this week at the beach, I don't know, but it didn't make our lineup this time. As the week was underway, though, we started having pre-diner's remorse about one of our choices and thought we'd reschedule that night for cuvée instead. I called the restaurant more than 48 hours in advance to inquire if we could dine there (just two of us) two nights from then. I wasn't even picky about inside or outside or the time. I was met with a resounding and unapologetic "no." Fast forward, we found ourselves Cuvée adjacent as restaurants down here are as plentiful as grains of sand. As we walked from the car just south of prime eating time, we noticed several empty tables both inside and out so we approached the hostess stand with reserved optimism. I'll stop here and give my spiel about the importance of the hostess stand. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know the importance I place on this facet of a restaurant. It is imperative that the hostess be informed, articulate, organized, friendly and understands that they and they alone are the front lines, the first impression. Their exchange with a customer shapes the entire evening. Cuvée's hostess was snotty and unapproachable. She scoffed at our inquiry of if we could sit at one of the many empty tables and give them money and instead, with a blasé, over-the-shoulder point, motioned towards the bar and, with a wry chuckle, said we could try our luck finding a seat in there where we would pay 100% price for 30% experience. (I added that last part but she was definitely thinking it.) So we left. And we walked around for a bit, noticing those same empty tables at cuvée. And then we ate somewhere else nearby. And then guess what? Almost two hours later, we walked back to our car and past cuvée and those same empty tables sat there. And instead of thinking, "gosh, we could have eaten and gotten out of there before their reservation people showed up" all I thought was "your loss, cuvée. Your loss." read more

We love fine dining and were visiting the area from out of state. The food was not only very tasty, but beautifully presented. However, the service was disappointing. In example, the waiter brought bread to the table and opted to leave what were clearly empty appetizer plates on an already over crowded table. We waited to see if he returned to remove them, but eventually had to call a nearby waiter to have the empty plates removed. He took our order for mains and didn't ask if we wanted any sides. Didn't recommend any wines. Completely unexpected for a fine dining establishment. While we enjoyed the dishes, not certain if the service experience will make Cuvee worth a repeat visit on future returning visits to Rosemary Beach. read more

We made a reservation and was seated exactly at our appointed time. Our server was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu choices. We asked his recommendations and he didn't mislead at all. We began with the seafood tower, which is generously appointed with lobster, shrimp and crab. It is served on a ice cold tower with various sauces including butter. Our party of four enjoyed the center cut fillets which were prepared absolutely perfect. The moist tender and deliciously seasoned fillets melted in your mouth. We also had the boneless duck, which I was skeptical of, but it was delicious. It was a generous portion of mouth watering duck seasoned perfectly. Our party also ordered roasted carrots, Parma Sean roasted asparagus and skillet prepared au gratin potatoes. I found the host/manager rude and passively racist. Happy hours is only for high tops at the bar! He wanted us to split our family of six and grab a bar stool around the bar! What is sad is on a Monday night when the place is 1/2 empty why not be kind and allow our party to grab a table at the bar? Yeahhhh......... That's a No for me dog. This place has a very high opinion of itself that is definitely not warranted. I understand that this is a "you're on vacation so ya gonna spend a lot more money than you should" kinda place but c'Mon man. Appies of lobster bisque and salmon were fine taste wise but you gotta wonder how hard it would be to make sure that the thimble full of actual lobster that comes in the bisque arrives at your table sans shells? And then the walls come tumbling down...... Their "famous" grouper main was, at least in my case was tiny, hammered, coated in a pecan crust almost as thick as the fish itself, and coated in so much sugary sauce that you almost go into a diabetic coma just looking at it. Oh, and let's not forget their "bread service". We were lucky to get one tiny piece every 15 minutes or so and I felt like Oliver ......." Please, sir, may I have more?" By the way, want to actually talk to someone at the restaurant? Fuggetaboudit! You can call and leave a message and if they deem you worthy they might call you back....but don't hold your breath!
