Wanted pizza and subs for dinner so placed an order and it was ready in 25 mins as promised. Ordered the veal parm sandwich, chicken parm calzone and small pepperoni pizza. Everything was good - my bf enjoyed his veal parm sandwich. Chicken parm calzone was good but different - I didn't have a full menu to go by (took pics for you yelpers!) so was surprised to find roasted red peppers in it - something different than a typical chicken parm calzone but it wasn't bad. Pizza was good - good crust and sauce. Maybe not my first choice for pizza and calzones but I would def come back here to order takeout again. Everything is very reasonably priced and the service was very friendly - will be be back to try other options.

We live just down the street but had never ordered food from here before for some reason. Today was a cold and rainy day and I just didn't feel like dragging the kids out to do pickup so we're wee thankful that delivery was an option for us. We ordered online and took advantage of one of their pizza specials and paid ahead for contactless delivery. Our order showed up on time and the whole family was pleased with the food. The pizza is excellent and the fresh boneless wings were delicious. I enjoyed the chicken gyro plate too but wish that cucumbers and pickles came with it. I'll add those to it next time I order this menu item. We'll definitely order from here again in the future. Be thoughtful to order takeout form a local place whenever you can and be sure to tip your delivery drivers!

Great service, even better food! Very large selection to choose from with fast & efficient service. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Hawaiian (with a bad sunburn) :(

This used to be my go to pizza place, but I don't know anymore. New owners/management? I didn't recognize any of the workers. Horrible curse word rap music coming from the kitchen. When I got there, I was told there was a problem with my order and it would be another 5-10 minutes. All the TVs were off in the dining room. While waiting another 15 or so minutes, the cook asked the cashier if she told me they dropped my pizza on the floor. (no). Instead of giving me some $ back or offering me a free two liter bottle of soda, I got a "sorry for the wait". :( When I got home my Hawaiian pizza which did not hit the floor, obvious had been put back in the oven several times to keep warm. The top was burnt and the bottom chewy. They still do make the best boneless honey bbq chicken wings, tho.

Crispy Chicken Salad With Cesar it was supposed to be Italian. Wrong dressing. Bitter

Mediocre. I ordered a crispy chicken salad with no olives no onions no peppers and Italian dressing with a side of blue cheese. I got the salad 2 of the same dressings.... which sucks cuz i paid pretty much a dollar extra for the extra dressing. I got Cesar dressing. .... which isnt either of what i ordered. The salad tastes super bitter took forever to deliver around the coner from them. Super disappointed tastes kinda gross but have to eat it. Sucks feel giped of money go elsewhere

    Texas Cheese Fries

This is my new go to place for any steak and cheese grinders. I've tried a couple of different steak and cheese grinders and they have all been perfect. The Texas cheese fries were not exactly what I was expecting, but they were still pretty good. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food you get and the staff is very friendly and willing to make basically anything you're in the mood for.

Loved the green tea mojito. Got the cod and hen suego for entrees. Cod in delicious sauces but small in portion size. Hen suego was filling and hearty - not a very common dish so I'd ask your waiter about it. Ours was very helpful in helping us choose our dishes. One of our favorite places scenery wise. We ate outside just before sunset and you sit right above the Seekonk river. Great place for a summer dinner out.

First of all, the restaurant itself is small but very cute, cozy, and full of lovely New England-y Sea-Themed decor. We were promptly seated and had our order taken for our drinks & food - I had heard good things about this place, so I got a decent amount of food items, including: Lobster Roll - Arguably the best lobster roll I've ever had so far in my life. The brioche bun for it was soooo fluffy, soft, and a perfect complement to the big, juicy chunks of lobster that were seasoned and buttered JUST right. Also came with hefty and well-seasoned fries. New England Clam Chowder - Came with salted pork and potatoes in addition to the quahog clams. It was deliciously creamy and soothing to slurp on and the chunks within were all so tender and a great contrast. Clam Cakes - Added them to the Clam Chowder order for an extra $8. Big, hefty, doughy balls that were perfectly fried outside and ooey gooey within. Fish & Chips - Big, hefty fish that was juicy & delicious with a great crunch on the outside! Similarly came with the 'chips', or the hefty, well-seasoned fries that the lobster roll also came with. Oh yeah, pardon me, forgetting to mention the drinks! We ordered the Briny Martini and the Harbor House Punch! The Martini was great for a stronger drink and the Punch was a nice cocktail for anyone preferring something sweeter and fruitier. When it came to the food, service, and dining experience...it couldn't have been better! Everything was incredibly delicious and definitely worth ordering. This memorable experience then reached exceptional circumstances, however, as while we were in the middle of dining here and enjoying our delicious food, there was a shooting occurring just up the street at Brown University. I wish to commend the staff at Dune Brothers, who looked out for mine and their other patrons' safety and sheltering us in their restaurant as we all nervously waited for more information on what exactly was going on that evening. Exceptional circumstances aside, this restaurant is also exceptional when it comes to the quality of their food and service. I highly recommend coming here if you're in Providence!

Benjamin's Easter Buffet 2025…read more I don't normally leave bad reviews but this felt necessary. Let me paint you a picture of Easter at Benjamin's: My family of 9 adults had a reservation for their 3pm seating. When we arrived a little before 3, we had to wait in a line that was out the door of the restaurant and down a long hotel hallway. We were pretty far down, and as we came in people were wishing us luck or calling other restaurants to see if they could go there instead. It was like being on the RMS Titanic- a foreboding sense of inevitable danger ahead. We were worried about our 3 elderly family members being able to stand in line, but luckily the line started moving after 10 minutes or so. When my party got to the front, we were seated. They did not ask if we had a reservation- just led us to a table. Half our group was cut off by another party that just arrived, claiming they had priority because they had a reservation. Hah! So did everyone else in that line but okay. Anyway, the rest of our party joined us, our waiter brought out 2 carafes of water, and told us his tables would be going first. He felt really bad for the customers, you could tell. We asked him about the food they ran out of as people were muttering about that in line. He said they were out of garden salad and turkey (because they dropped it, apparently. Huh.) but they were also out of bread rolls. If you're going to have three buffet seatings- have food for all three. So the buffet itself was outside the dining room. They had opened at least one other banquet hall at the hotel to fit people, so they were all coming toward this buffet table. Luckily, we were first in line. There were three servers at the buffet for 11 trays of food so it took forever. The scrambled eggs looked awful- very dry. No one piece of bacon looked like it was cooked the same- some of mine were crispy some were chewy. Sausage was fine. They gave you two pieces of each. Stingy! One of my two French toast sticks was hard as a rock. Potatoes were okay. I went to get coffee at the next table and Oop! There wasn't enough to fill a cup in the one canister on the table. No one seemed to be in a rush to bring out more though. The dessert table had some danishes and another tray of blondie crumbs. While eating this first plate, someone finally came around to ask what the name of our reservation was. Better late than never! Our waiter brought us a whole coffee pot because he knew we didn't get any, complete with fresh cream and sugars. After finishing our first plates, some of us headed back to the buffet for round 2. But lo and behold the line was back around the corner! A family friend dining in another section of the restaurant told us that at this point, they had only just received water. Yikes! We did not want to wait in line, so we waited at our table for a bit. Some of us never even returned to the buffet table. A few of us did head back now that the line had died down. I set a timer; it took 14 minutes and 43 seconds from the time I entered the line until I was back at my table. When you reached the buffet area, they had now diverted the line to start at the ham carving table rather than the eggs, so the feng shui was even worse than before, with the line now stretching across the small buffet area. This time, I got the lunch offerings. The ham was alright. The mashed potatoes were incredibly salty. The carrots were mushy on the outside but hard on the inside. The scrod was fine and the penne was fine. There was a welcome addition to brownies at the dessert table. We could've paid extra for a better dessert selection off the menu though. We were not as wise as our fellow diners who complained and got comped, so my elderly grandfather who was paying for our meal paid full price for this, at $35 per person. Oh, and they didn't tell us about the credit card processing fee, costing an extra $10. Thank you to our waiter who tried to make this doomed experience a little better! Suffice to say, we will not be returning to Benjamin's.

I was told the restaurant has gone through three different owners and that there were issues with the previous owner not paying out gift cards. As a customer, that's extremely frustrating. The restaurant still operates under the same name, and there is no notice on the website or posted anywhere in the restaurant letting customers know that old gift cards are no longer valid. Customers shouldn't be stuck with the loss when ownership changes, especially when nothing is communicated ahead of time. Just something others should be aware of before going.
