Really Great chowder and clam cakes! The clam cake batter is light and cakes aren't greasy. Chowder was loaded with clams, great flavor. Calamari also had a light batter. It was really good not rubbery. Chorizo was very rubbery and chewy. I'd skip that. Crabcake was delicious but could have been more solid, less mushy. Needed more binder (bread crumbs or such). Loved the flavors though. Served with boom boom sauce which was yummy! Prices are fair and food is good here I recommend Brothers Seafood. read more

When in the east coast... clam chowder and lobster rolls are needed STAT. At Brother's Seafood, the lobster roll is supple with lobster meat and comes with crispy fries. However, you can swap the fries for sweet potatoes or onion rings. I went with the onion rings and have no regrets! The onion ring batter was delicate, and you could really taste the onion. While they didn't have CLAM chowder, they did have white chowder. The chowder was thick and loaded with diced potatoes. However, I'm still advocating for the clams. Finding the location and parking were easy, as it's in a strip center with its own giant private lot. Inside, is a small, old-school diner (like most places in the east coast) with an older crowd. I read the reviews and opted to give Brothers Seafood a try. What a smart choice for me! The roll was toasted to perfection with a generous portion of lobster meat. Not drowned out in mayo so you could actually get the sweet flavor of the lobster. Accompanied by fries and cole slaw it was a great value for $30. This is the price point it should be! We came to Seekonk to visit family and found this gem of a restaurants. The food was fantastic, reasonable, and with a warm atmosphere. Our waitress, who was by herself, was a whirlwind and handled the crowd with finesse and high energy. We started out with their Portuguese soup. There had to be a grandmother in the kitchen because this was fresh and clean tasting. A clear brother with lots of veggies, chouriço, and small couscous like pasta. I am glad I told my sweetie to get a cup and not a bow because the cup serving was large. I am originally from New England so I had to have their whole belly clams. They were plump and delicious. And if you have read any of my other reviews, you would know that I am always on the hunt for the best fried whole belly clams. These were excellent. My darling had their Fried Seafood combo plate of smelts, scallops, and friend haddock with their red pepper garlic sauce on the side for dipping the smelts and fish. I didn't want French Fries, instead I opted for their homemade mashed potatoes. Pro tip!!! I used the red pepper garlic sauce on my mashed potatoes! Oh man!!! My grandson had their clam cakes but ate them so fast I didn't get to take a picture. He said that they were they best he ever had. This is a family restaurant with a cross-section of folks lined up for lunch here. The owner was friendly and jumped in to help the waitress with a smile. I had to tell him how pleased I was with his establishment and his staff. Many folks there heard me and made the same exclamations. Has been one of our favorite local places and usually great. But recently we ordered two seafood meals for take out on a Saturday early evening. Very surprised that the fries were hard, dark brown and overcooked or perhaps reheated in oil. Not enjoyable at all. Almost inedible. Hasn't happened before and certainly mistakes do happen. BUT this was a decision. The cook shouldn't have filled the order with those fries. And that's what leaves us feeling like we aren't excited to go back. read more

This place is doing it right! My friend had the crabcakes entrée while I had a lobster roll. It's not going to be cheap, regardless of where you go, but this lobster roll was done perfectly and with a good amount of lobster. They only do it cold, but even if you're not a big fan of the cold roll, I urge you to try it. I prefer hot with butter, but this is still one of the best I've ever had. The coleslaw is actually some of the best I've ever had, too! Service was super attentive and friendly. The seating area was clean and casual. I very much look forward to coming back very soon. We went here because of the ratings. We were visiting in the area with some friends from out of town. Three ordered fish and chips and the fourth ordered a clammy with a crab cake dinner. Each of us drove 30 minutes or more to meet at this location. In New England, there are so many places that offer amazing fish dinners with the catch right from the water. Most prepare lightly breaded and fried which we are learning is our preference. The fish and chips here is battered, and fried. The batter to fish ratio is high. If you love that, great... This is your place! The coleslaw was shredded fine and delicious. Just a hint of mayo and seasoned/dressed nicely. Well done! The prices were terrific and we could choose the size of our portion of fish... Small, medium, or large. The only real demerit, and this is a purely preference thing is that our server must be a heavy marijuana user or maybe a vape that smells similarly. It's legal here and no one in our party has an opposition. Simply observed, the odor wafted across our table every time the server came to us. It was powerful, overwhelming, and lingered and took away from the good smell of our dinners. Otherwise, the atmosphere was great for our visit and we enjoyed our time there. read more

Brothers Seafood is nestled in the back roads of Seekonk in a shopping plaza with 15 other well established small businesses. Though the restaurant itself is on the smaller side they make excellent use of the space they have with both bar and table seating options. They also offer dine in, take out, and even Uber Eats. They have a very large menu, with affordable prices, and generous meal portions. The staff taking phone orders were incredibly pleasant and prompt with meal pickup. As odd as this may sound, it's very challenging to find seafood restaurants in certain areas of the state. I'm super glad Brothers Seafood is thriving and I would absolutely recommend them to others. read more

Such a warm and friendly place! Two adorable young women visited our table many times to welcome us, take orders, and make sure everything was good. I absolutely loved the baked scallops with side onion rings and broccoli, and my date thought the fish and chips was 5-stars. Fabulous Seafood! We started with the clam cakes and the fried dough was soft and warm and the clams inside were juicy and seasoned well! We then chose the shrimp on a bed of pasta Portuguese style, and the combination dinner with fish, scallops, and shrimp. Portions were plenty, excellent fresh flavor, and the combination platter came with a side of fries and homemade coleslaw. The coleslaw was created just right, not too much vinegar, and the fry portion was huge. The shrimp and pasta came with a small loaf of Italian bread to sop up the delicious sauce! Who knew within the space of two weeks that I would be sitting in the same restaurant that I had the best seafood I ever ate, but here I am along with my traveling companions... Clam cakes, steamed clams in oil, and garlic, clam chowder, lobster bisque, came out and were all fantastic. When the full belly clams, shrimp and spaghetti, all came out my table mates could not believe how good everything was... Kim, the owner's wife, made us feel right at home like we were friends, she could not have been more accommodating, pulling an additional table over to give us even more room that we were needing just to spread out to really enjoy was coming, I ordered a glass of their red sangrea which was just what I needed to cool off from being on the hot road all day.
