One of my favorite local restaurants in EB. The seafood dishes are very tasty and good portions. Had the broiled seafood and the tuna. Beautiful presentation. The service is great. Shout out to Frank who took care of our table. Very friendly and attentive.

We made a reservation since we came here for a friend's birthday celebration. We were seated immediately. There is small parking lot in the back of the restaurant. It is easy to missed the sign to the entrance of the parking lot. The restaurant is very cozy. All the seafoods were fresh, tasty, and well seasoned. The rice on the paella was a bit too wet. The texture was in between a risotto and paella.

I had to come back to update for the wonderful service received from Francisco and Rosie. They took it a step further by accommodating my cousin's birthday with birthday music over the speaker (we closed out the place lol).. and just their warmth and attention.. I know that we were the only thing standing in between them and the end of their day, so it was appreciated. Oh and the food.... awesome as usual. I had the best lobster risotto of my life here.. and everyone else really enjoyed their meals. Will always be an option for a nice dining experience in the area.

Fantastic fresh seafood. The lobster roll was delicious, calamari perfect. The Paella was amazing - a heavenly mix of fresh mussel, clam, scallop, lobster, shrimp over a bed of garlicky rice, yummy! We finished it with a flawless crème bur-lee. A homely place with great & friendly service. A bit loud & congested on weekends, just wish it was a little more spacious. Nevertheless the food is worth the minor inconveniences. A wide variety of fishy choices, must try for Seafood aficionados.

Mmmmm, still rubbing my tum tum thinking about this meal. So delicioso to the max. Bread was yum. Calamari was PERFECTO, reminded me that calamari is my favorite appetizer of all time across the board. Shrimp scampi was exactly the degree of scampiness you wanted. Swordfish was tender, hearty, and juicy. The only qualm I have food-wise is that they don't offer the ability to swap sides. The swordfish would've HIT with the saffron rice and asparagus. Stellar service. The individual working the floor was awesome -- such excellent, warm energy. Always smiled, made the diners feel cared about. Bathrooms were of stupendous caliber. The Google description for this place mentioned it'd be "unassuming," and I definitely agree but it certainly isn't unimpressive. 10/10 dining experience :-)

Get: The Stuffed Scallops and Chilean Seabass and Calamari I've been meaning to check out Blue Water Seafood for a while and it didn't disappoint! This place has great quality seafood for a restaurant that is not located near a coastal town. I also appreciated their menu selections, it's one page back and front of amazing dishes and I had a hard time choosing what to order. In the end, I got the stuffed scallops based on my waitress, Rosie's suggestion, and it was delicious! It came with 3 stuffed scallops with crab on top over a bed of lobster risotto with truffle oil. What's not to love?! My friend got the Chilean seabass and I got to taste it and that is definitely what I am going to get next time I come. it's pretty special. Overall, I had a lovely experience. It's BYOB so bring a nice bottle of wine.

I came here a couple of nights when I was in town for business. I got the seafood diabolo (I think it was) the first night. The seafood was fantastic and the tomato-based sauce was good, but a bit bland. I've had better pasta elsewhere. The second night I had the surf and turf. The lobster was overcooked and the steak, which should have been medium rare, was overcooked too. The service was good though, and the weather was nice enough to sit outside. My coworker got the stuffed scallops over lobster risotto which looked absolutely amazing.

This place is STILL,.. my favorite. Apparently my husbands 2 b/c it was his birthday last week and this was his choice. He was not disappointed. He had the crab cakes (only better ones r in Baltimore inner harbor). But, 4 E. Brunswick this is the best. I don't care 4 the russet potatoes so much. That's the only complaint and too much food!! No pics this time

Ask the Community - Blue Water Seafood

Outdoor dining- how have they implemented social distancing?

All tables are more than 6 feet apart.

    What's the dress code?

We were in nice casual clothes , and we were blending in 🙂

So we are 6 people - good food? Can we conversate?

You definitely can, but it is like being in a tight NYC restaurant. It's extremely cozy with close quarters but once your sat you kind of forget about it. While it can be somewhat noisy, you should have no real issues conversating. Food there is…

For appys, we had a wedge salad w/ a slice of bacon, which my wife enjoyed. I had baked clams, which I loved! For dinner, my wife had Filet Mignon and mac & cheese on the side. The meat was cooked perfectly and the mac & cheese was great. I had a Wagyu rib eye cap and Brussel sprouts on the side. The meat was perfect, and so were the sprouts. For dessert, my wife had the affogato, which both of us loved. The only disappointment of the night was the Tiramisu, not flavorful at all. The service was top-notch, I appreciated that the waiter was not a kid, which so many places use these days. It's very expensive, $380 for two (BYOB), including tip. As great a meal as it was, I don't think I will be a regular. If I come back, it won't be for the steak, mine cost $115. The mains don't include sides, it's all a la carte. If the money doesn't bother you, or it's a special occasion, I highly recommend this restaurant. Somebody in that kitchen, knows what they are doing!

I was especially looking forward to ordering the ribeye and lit up instantly when the server listed it as one of the specials. The server shared that he would need to collect the orders for all of our courses at the same time which was fine with me. I actually had more confidence in the timing of everything for that reason. Our server had a delightful energy particularly at the beginning of our visit. After we placed our orders, everything began to fall apart. It did get noticeably busy since we first arrived, but we ultimately waited for our main entrees for over 3 hours. 3 hours. The table ordered the charred octopus and the oysters to start. The oysters hit the table fairly quickly, but then we began to gradually notice how long it was taking for the octopus to come. I had only a slither of the octopus so that I could say I tried it. Everyone at the table raved about the taste. I did, however, agree that their oysters were delicious especially when dressed with a little bit of mignonette, lemon, horseradish and a touch of Tabasco sauce. I'm excited to now report that I am a fan of fresh oysters from the east coast, because apparently the coast matters. The table also ordered the canaletto stuffed with mascarpone, parmesan and another cheese, langostines and lobster with morel mushroom cream sauce, garnished with truffles. I passed on this one also as it was too adventurous for my taste buds; although, their delicious bread and our drinks did distract me for a little while. The restaurant is BYOB, so we had our wine to keep us company while we observed other tables come and go. We eventually asked to see the manager and was told there wasn't a manager on duty which was either untrue or a very poor decision on the part of the owners considering it was a Friday evening. Having someone occasionally check in with our table may have also helped to take the pressure off of the server who may have gotten overwhelmed or decided to prioritize other tables. Having a manager offer a personal apology may have helped us feel less forgotten about. After the three hour mark, we decided this was enough. I didn't have much to eat at this point, but I wasn't at all worried initially since I was there for the main event, the ribeye. I stopped a hostess who was walking past our table and asked for the manager. We were again told the manager is not here but can be called, if needed. I simply replied, "Please do". Shortly afterwards, I noticed our server who at this time was standing by the host stand briskly walk into the kitchen and then return to our table with our plates. I sent the food back which was a decision that was supported by everyone at the table. Let me tell you, that was a difficult decision to make, but I also was ready to call it a night. Our mood had changed, and I truly felt like we were derservant of having the same experience as everyone else that night. Our server apologized for his part to play in the ordeal which I appreciated since I know his intention was never malicious, but unfortunately we had to call this night a bust. He offered us dessert on the house, and our entire meal was comped which we felt was an appropriate resolution. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bread pudding which was a favorite. Very good. Jasper Stone is a beautiful establishment with decorative yellow and white floral arrangements throughout the dining area. It is clearly a popular restaurant and has many positive reviews. I regret that I could not have a comparable experience.

From the moment you walk in, the restaurant makes a great first impression. The décor is beautiful and upscale, but still inviting and there are plenty of great spots for social media pictures. We started with a few lighter appetizers, but they ended up being more than enough. We shared three sets of tacos: the fish, pork, and short rib. Each order comes with two tacos, which makes them perfect for sharing and trying different flavors. The esquites were also really tasty and all paired very well. My daughter had a cheese quesadilla, which she absolutely loved. For drinks, I went with an Old Fashioned (my go to classic) while my wife ordered the "Clock It" mocktail. Both were solid choices. I also appreciated that they brought out boxed water for my daughter, which was a nice touch. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. There's also a fairly large bar right at the entrance, so you don't necessarily have to come here for a full meal. I could easily see Mezcal being a great date-night spot or a place to grab drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. There's also plenty of parking in the back, which is always a plus. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Next time, I want to try some of the main dishes. It's a higher-end restaurant, so expect the prices to reflect that, but between the food, atmosphere, service, and presentation, I thought it was well worth the experience.
