So I emailed him back with the details of what happened, that they had the email address wrong so I never received the invoice, etc. The response I got was from the accountant saying, "Well you got a hard copy of the invoice in the mail" and you were informed insurance wasn't covering this." A, I never got the invoice in the mail and B, what does insurance have to do with it? You didn't send me an invoice to the correct email, period. All of your follow ups to pay were not received because they were going to the wrong email. You never called to tell me the invoice was past due. Then all of a sudden I get a call that I have 3 days to pay or they're putting a lien? Just own up to the fact that you could've called, that your people had the wrong email address, and apologize for your end of the problem instead of blaming me. I wanted to share a recent experience we had that, while initially a bit of a headache, turned out to be incredibly positive thanks to some truly amazing folks! We recently discovered we had a leaky roof! As you can imagine, that instantly brings on a wave of stress. We called in Joe, and he arrived promptly to check out the situation. Would not recommend this company under any circumstances. This company was contracted through a flood mitigation company I used for a fix to my condo. They repeatedly claimed they were 'in contact with insurance' regarding a mitigation claim for more than $2,000, but it turns out they had the wrong email the entire time and never actually submitted anything properly or followed up with the adjuster via phone or email. Instead of doing the basic work required to get paid, they chose to send repeated threatening emails to me personally about lawsuits, collections, and damaging my credit permanently. At no point did they: *Confirm correct insurance contact info *Speak or follow up with the adjuster *Submit proper documentation tied to the claim Yet they continued to escalate threats as if the delay was my fault. This felt less like a professional business and more like pressure tactics to cover up their own lack of process. Proceed with caution. read more

We selected CVE to clean our home due to Crystilline Silica dust. The house is (empty) 1400 sq ft , 3bd and 2 ba,  single car garage and attic We had no insurance claim. PROS: -On time -Respectable crew first day 8-9 workers. 2nd day all but 1 got sick. -Adjusted Labor hours, due to attic equipment not working. -Provided selected pictures -CVE damages repaired: *Broken fire sprinkler *Pantry room walls, ceiling and shelfs. *Drywall cracked ceiling, living room. *Kitchen under the sink replaced wood due to facet leakage/mold. *Drywall covered A/C vents CONS: -Not very good communication with house owner. We had to reach out and send reminders. -On-site Project Management /Quality control -1 Large Air Scubber in the house?? -2 small Air Scubbers in the garage part time only. -Contaminated/debri left in and outside the house for days. -Attic insulation and A/C unit removal took weeks. Adding labor cost to the estimate.. -Old Attic Insulation was left in some areas. -Insulation delays due to broken vacuum -Attic debri left behind: *Two A/C boots *Two 4" dia. exhaust fan boxs *Two exhaust fan ducting. -No evidence of Lead Shield sprayed, in the attic or garage rafters. -Items not cleaned *Ceiling lights. *Fire place area (never used). *Closet doors /tracking . *Medicine cabinets -Silca remains in the house/garage. -Working hours 8-4. I highly recommend Sal and his team! They were extremely prompt, professional and gave us a reasonable deal. It's stressful enough to be in a water damage situation but not only did I trust Sal during our demo to do a good job but he was very honest and told me what our options were vs trying to get as much money as possible which some other companies may do. Another company recommended CVE for our water mitigation demolition and the other company was supposed to help us out with dehumidifiers and air scrubbers after wards. After a very expensive quote from a recommended company whose owner/estimator was an a**hole... we were scouring the internet trying to find a company that had good reviews and also quick availability. His quote was HALF the other guys, he only needed 2 days instead of 5, and he included demolishing our kitchen which wasn't in the first guy's quote. The building that is Ocean Point Condominiums at 4667 Ocean Blvd, San Diego, California experienced a fire sprinkler main pipe failure. Many units were flooded by the failure. Our unit 112 did not have any visible water nor any water stains in the unit. This was confirmed by our property manager who was at the unit hours after the failure occurred. And, then again a couple of days later. There were two companies involved with our unit. Restoration RX and CVE (Central Valley Environmental). It is my understanding that Restoration RX performed the water intrusion inspection and CVE demolished the interior of our unit. It is my opinion that Restoration RX provided no conclusive evidence that justified the demolition of our unit. Restoration RX used a small handheld moisture meter for their inspection. In my opinion, the technician provided photographs of areas alleging the presents of water that did not exist. For example: the technician showed the moisture meter testing a cabinet toe kick board as if there was water there. This toe kick board clips on to the legs of the base cabinets enclosing an air space under the cabinets. If there was actual water here it would have been visible on the floor below the base cabinets. There was no water here. There are several other examples of his work ethic I can provide if requested. I was told by Ryan at Restoration RX that they hired CVE to demolish our unit. Apparently, both parties used a code to access our property that was initially provided for the water intrusion inspection. This code was given to them by our property manager. Our property manager, La Jolla Vacation Rentals CA, claims they did not authorize continued access to our property and that they did not authorize any work, demolition, in our unit. CVE did not have authorization demolish the interior of our property They removed the drywall in the living, Dining and all the lower cabinets/countertops. CVE did not contact us, the owners, about the work they planned to do in our property. CVE did not have a contract with us, the owner, nor did they have a contract with anyone else. California state law requires contractors to have a contract with their clients. This did not happen. Although the condominium association's insurance company paid for most of the rebuild of our, CVE damaged several items during their unauthorized demolition of our property that the insurance company did not cover. The major items were the microwave ($539), two decorative light fixtures ($650 materials and $700 labor) and our project managers time ($250) dealing with the CVE representative (totaling $2,139). CVE paid $525 and they claim this money is to cover all the above listed damage costs. However, it is obvious that they are short $1614. In light of the blatant lack of proper written documents, it is CVE is to pay for their damages at a minimum. I have been emailing and calling CVE to take care of this issue for months. At this point, they are not returning my calls. I have left three messages for Ryan Cebulski, who is the manager of the superintendent, Manny Delgado, who ran the demolition crew in our property. It is my opinion that these people have little respect for the damages they caused at our property and do not care to follow the laws of California state contractors board and should be punished accordingly. For me, I just want to be paid for the damages CVE caused that were facilitated by Restoration RX. read more

just last week CVE performed asbestos abatement removing stucco & drywall from our 1968 home after a driver collided into our garage. our total experience with CVE was stellar. Timeliness, cleanliness and respect of property was top-shelf. communication was superlative. 100% rarity these days and so appreciated. All our concerns were addressed and responded to. There is not one person associated with CVE I wouldn't want to see again - just not under an abatement situation! Our house was ready our annual 4th of July gathering and we had a front door again July 3rd. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Oh, our jibe was completed in two days, air tested on day three and all containment removed, debris removed and exposed areas of garage boarded up secure by noon! So damn awesome! read more
